if maclaren starts downing on the right tonight or on sunday i will personally kill the c**t we have charlie dimmick, morrison and mcmahon could play there downing can play there but isnt as effect there possible because the rest of team didnt give him the ball until he was back on the left.

Bryan Robson as WBA manager he should save them from relegation and thats about it for this season. he did good for us but towards the end he became a bit stale and tactively nieve with subs.

say what you like about his spending with us, you seriously cannot argue that ravinelli with 30 goals in a season and juninho with 16 in famous relegation year were bad signings. emerson wasnt that bad either it was his wife that was the problem. the only thing robson should have done was strenghten his defence, we had rav, juno, emerson, mustoe all quality but then you had derek whyte, steve vickers, curtis fleming it was never going to work with good first div players in a prem team.

Rob 11-10-2004 07:02 PM

Did Kezman score tonight? Oh I forgot, he'll score less than Diego Forlan and then get shifted to Germany.

Ferocious 11-10-2004 08:03 PM

Zenden was fucking onside

Scouse Cunts

Dazz 11-10-2004 08:28 PM

Ogen, I would rather play Carlo because he has done nothing wrong and deserves to play. Yes Cech has been the man, but if you are Cudicini and you don't play in the league cup, you have got to ask yourself when you will play. It was important he played today and I hope he plays in our last two Champions League matches too, as we have already qualified I don't see why he shouldn't.

Robben is the fucking man though, the guy is great.

Shearer is a prick and I wish Huth was on to finish what he started last time.

Ogen 11-10-2004 08:41 PM

Yeah I forgot it was the leauge cup when I said that. Also Robben looks to me like he could end up being the most influential Premiership player since Cantona. He's amazingly good and I can see Chelsea whipping the leauge for the next few years with him controlling the team.

Dazz 11-10-2004 09:40 PM

PFA Young Player Of The Year would be his if they didn't choose the award at Xmas.

Arsenal equalised right at the break: 1-1. Only saw it once, I thought Henry was possibly offside. Wasn't looking that closely though :o

Fucking great goal though, to like control the ball, beat 2 defenders then stab it in and fall over. I probably couldn't do that :$.

I bet someone scores a screamer and Arsenal wins 2-1, a la Pires v Liverpool last season.

toxic rooster 11-13-2004 07:56 AM

Replay just showed. Looking at field markings, half of his body was offside, but I think the rule is there must be daylight there, so he was onside.

Keith Weller - RIP

By Gary Silke
Date: 13/11/2004

The club have officially announced the sad news that Keith Weller passed away on Friday night after a long battle with cancer. Although the news was not unexpected it will still be a shock for anyone who can remember what a fantastic player Keith was for City in the seventies.

Alan Birchenall, Keith's longstanding team mate on Jimmy Bloomfield's 70s line-up described him as: "..one of the five greatest ever players ever to pull on a Leicester shirt."
Few who saw Keith play will argue with that.

We would like to pass on our condolences to Keith's family and friends and invite you to leave a tribute on our messageboard which will be forwarded on to the club.

Rest in Peace Keith.

Robben again was the man, except I wouldn't mind seeing one of the incidents again, as it looked like he was fouled but went down like it was a dive.

Mourinho again prove he is the man when he said this after our match:

``Five-four is a hockey score, not a football score,'' he said. ``I did not see the game, but I can tell you now that the defenders were a disgrace.

``In training I often play matches of three against three, and when the score reaches 5-4 I send the players back to the dressing rooms because they are not defending properly.

``So to get a result like that in a game of 11 against 11 is disgraceful.''

I don't see them dropping down a divison, they have soem alright players like Jorge Leitao.
I heard about Megson today that he has a stipulation in his contract with the Baggies that he has to apply for all going manager jobs in the top 2 divisons or something.

The question lies in what exactly UEFA and FIFA are actually going to do about it. Its all well and good saying "Lets Kick Racism Out Of Football" but whenever this sort of thing happens, they do fu</>ck all about it. Oh hey, lets fine them and warn about future conduct. What exactly does that do to stop the fans?

Its fair enough, its gonna be extremely difficult to stop fans who have a prejudice for life, but at least do something like docking points in qualifiers or banning them from playing, or making countries play behind closed doors, anything that could potentially have some impact, fines and warnings do not do anything.

Mr. Monday Morning 11-17-2004 05:48 PM

Anybody who uses Rooney's age as an excuse (I'm looking at you Lineker) is talking bollocks. When the fuck did Owen ever pull shit like that at that age, or younger? He's a petulant twat, end of story.

Don't agree with that at all. Would be rediculous to actually impact the Spainish teams qualifcation chances because of what their fans are saying. They have no control over it. I don't care if the whole stadium chants YOUR A STUPID NEGRO for the whole game it shouldn't impact the players qualifying chances. Fines and all are all that should be imposed.

Cactus Sid 11-17-2004 05:58 PM

My point is simply how the hell else do you try and prevent it?

You could get home games played behind closed doors, that way it doesn't impact the players actually playing and it prevents any racism while players are on the pitch.

Dazz 11-17-2004 06:08 PM

A Juve game 2 seasons ago had to be played behind closed doors for the reason of racism.

What really gets me is how if England fans did that Blatter would have a field day, yet he doesn't give a shit what other nations do.

Cactus Sid 11-17-2004 06:18 PM

Was looking for examples on the net

"Slovakia were ordered to play their home qualifier against Liechtenstein in April behind closed doors after their fans racially abused England players in Bratislava last October. "

So basically, UEFA will do it...... against smaller nations.
