I'd really like to see an NXT Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Sami Zayn vs. Adrian Neville vs. Corey Graves vs. Antonio Cesaro vs. Leo Kruger vs. Tyler Breeze vs. Kalisto vs. Solomon Crowe. Sami Zayn looks like he is about to win, but the lights go out, due to Crowe's rigging of the event, and then Crowe capitalizes to win the match and earn a title shot.

Random idea to debut Kalisto:
Have a tournament of masked competitors. El Local can compete and Tyson Kidd can bust out his masked persona. You can bring in indie works and put them in masks, or you can just slap one of Davey Richards and have him go out there as "Dynamite." Kalisto can be the decisive winner of the tournament and become the new masked icon of NXT. It creates a back-story for him when he gets called up to the main roster too. He's not just a masked guy who showed up, but was the best unsigned masked competitor in the world. Gives him a reason to go after guys like Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio too. |
Or they can just have him come in, hype him as the "King of Flight" and he can win a lot of matches and get really over.

Billington is obviously a tribute to the Dynamite Kid and just something that they pulled out of their asses for that one match. They'll probably get completely different terrible names when they get signed.

And that finish was incredible. It shows that you don't need the amount of bells and whistles and gimmicks that WWE tend to put on self-consciously "big" matches to make people care about them. You don't need self-indulgent sequences of finisher spams and lying on your back for five minutes only to hit a finisher "out of nowhere" to build drama. People are more than prepared to get emotionally invested in a story told solely through wrestling. Cesaro realising that he might have gone too far after the double stomp, and being reluctant to bring himself to hurt Regal any further...that was a strong, emotionally resonant moment, and the entire match built perfectly to that point.</font> |

I still haven't had a chance to watch the Regal vs. Cesaro match, but it sounds BRILLIANT! Regal earned his way to being one of my favorites through his humble charisma and the way he speaks with conviction. If Goldust can still get opportunities to tear it up on the big stage, I hope that we haven't seen the last of William Regal. Cesaro is one of my favorite wrestlers in the world at the moment. He does things that just look so amazing and real.

Byron Saxton is doing great at the start on commentary. Great that Howard Finkel does ring announcing for NXT occasionally.

There are ways to make Regal such an amazing babyface. Imagine if The Authority targeted him due to his connections with Daniel Bryan, for example.

They could release a DVD set on William Regal, featuring a documentary on his life and just what makes him so important and brilliant. They could talk about bonus footage and include the Regal vs. Ambrose feud. Then a heel can come out and talk about how Regal is a relic and no longer important -- boom, feud.

I would love for WWE to do the Terry Funk in ECW angle with the veteran going for the gold one last time with Regal.

Interesting story they are trying to tell with this brilliant match. I would like to see it turn into Regal telling Cesaro that he shouldn't have hesitated and that he's not a true villain...but he can help him become one.

One of the more brilliant pieces from the match itself: You can take the most obvious aspect from Cesaro's game, his power, and he's still formidable due to his agility and vicious streak.

God, I adore Emma. Loved her work with Natalya. The show in general was pretty good. I loved the booking of Zayn vs. Kruger.

This is a completely moot point, but if the brand split were still around and their was a Women's Champion on one show and a Divas Champion on the other, I could see Paige and Emma existing as the top face Divas on respective brands. A WrestleMania match between the two down the line could be turned into a fairly big thing.

The Aiden English/Colin Cassady segment was really good. Cassady reminds me a bit of Edge.

Right so I've only watched the last two episodes of NXT.
My thoughts after watching with 'Fresh Eyes' The Good - Kane/Kofi - Big star appearances can only be a good thing. - Fans pop on hearing that Tyler Breeze has arrived in the building...WWE don't do this anymore but it made him seem like a 'Big Deal'. He was good in the ring and worked his gimmick really well...top marks. Loved him calling Adrian Neville so he didn't have to look at him. - They havn't removed the guys who have moved to the main roster from the opening titles..Shows that these guys are on the verge of 'making it' - Emma looks awesome...I always go for a piss when Diva segments come on...it's like a personal tradition...I didn't during Emma's match with Natalya that says alot to me....Bailey also looks pretty good...Summer Rae should never be allowed to lace up boots again...she's more suited to being a valet. - Rusev looks like an absolute beast. Regal made a comment that managing him would just be a case of pointing and saying 'destroy'....Thats how he should be booked..Never.speak..Just maul and destroy at the behest of a really good voice guy, - Sami Zayn - He's a cool gimmick away from being ready, His ringwork was really crisp and he's got that something a great underdog should have. I'd give him a spot in The Rumble... Three Way next week between Zayn, Breeze and English for the spot would be great. - The Acension - Cool look, Good in the ring. Every ingredient there...Probably get called up soon. Proper team and loved that the tag titles were the main event this week. The Bad - The 'Sing - Off' was dreadful....made both guys look awful. - Rusevs Valet was just annoying...Didnt get 'heat' from me...I just wanted her off the mic and indeed the screen. - Aiden English's Gimmick is awful...Its like Cena's 'rapper' but irrelevant in its time. He's decent in the ring though. - Colin Cassady looks really 'gangly' He'd benefit from getting into some pants like most other workers with that body type do... Nash/Test etc - Xavier running straight at Rusev at the start of the match..Sure it makes him look like he's full of 'heart' but NOBODY should approach Rusev without caution. I'll be watching in future though..I was overall very impressed. |

Bayley is just adorable and a pretty good worker. She joins Paige and Emma as Divas who could shake up the babyface side of the female division on the main roster. Paige and Emma are about due to be called up (Paige is an obvious choice and Emma has been working house shows and is also amazing). Bayley can step up in this time and do some work with Summer Rae, Sasha Banks (my pick to take the NXT Women's Title from Paige) and Charlotte. She may find some allies in the likes of Becky Lynch and Sarah Blackman (or whatever her ring name is).
