I remember being stoked to see The Fink get in the ring. One of the last RAW shows I went to, I yelled out to him "FINK!!! You're the man!" or something.


Very humble dude. He acknowledged, saluted and said thank you. Tried to start a Fink chant, but people were a buncha pussies.

He did commentary on some 1984 House Shows and he was excellent

The promo is obviously OTT and ridiculous, but it’s pretty fucking great content-wise. We may have missed out on a bunch of Fink greatness with him being “just” the greatest ring announcer of all-time.

I remember an angle they did on SmackDown where Howard Finkel was mad at Tony Chimel for taking his spot on SmackDown. Fink came down, called Chimel a gay slur and forcefully took the spot back.

Wish I could hear it. On another note, I'm watching the inaugural Survivor Series and I'm up to the Women's match. I don't see Velvet McIntyre and Rockin' Robin mentioned often.

Was pleasantly surprised that Ricochet got to advance in the World Cup. Santos Escobar vs. Ricochet will be a fun match. Since the winner is getting Gunther, it would make sense to put Ricochet and good ol’ U-S-of-A over, but I’m low-key hoping for Santos to win and a short little Imperium/LDF program.

Braun & Ricochet would make a fun big man/little man tag team for a spell. Maybe they could face The Usos on Raw 30th or the first SmackDown of 2023 or something? Rumble isn’t out of the question if they have too many guys they want to spotlight in the actual Rumble.

Honestly, he's never seemed the type to do something stupid. I'm sure the old wrassler inside of him is down for squeezing out those last paydays. And if it was cool for Terry Funk to do it, then so it should be for Ricky. Plus, Steamboat's always struck me as a guy who wouldn't do it if he didn't think he'd do alright.

I think he would have been more safe about it than Ric Flair. I don’t know how advised any of it could be though. I hope he did get something out of it. I’m sure he got paid. Ricky’s always been a money-oriented guy.
