My headcanon still is that the reason for having Zeus in the movie is because Vince found out early enough in that he couldn't bring Stan in for the post movie angle and make it financially worthwhile for Stan. I know most people aren't going to really care about the match itself but I posted that because Shinsuke being allowed to go to noah sets an interesting precedent. I don't think that would have happened under vince.

For the record though, Vince let Kenta work NOAH while he was under contract a few years ago, so this isn't entirely unprecedented or something Vince wouldn't let happen.

True, but KENTA was about one of the most irrelevant people on the roster at the time, unlike shinsuke who is firmly an upper midcard talent. Additionaly, there was more going on there than just allowing kenta to work rhe show. It was part of bigger plans to work with noah and potentially turn it into an nxt japan

I'll agree that Kenta was pretty irrelevant, but I dunno what you've been watching if you think Shinsuke is relevant.

His IC title reign was the worst ever. They didn't even have him on PPVs and he defended it like, what, 3 times maybe on TV? It was a joke. And until Friday night when he was Hit Rows mystery partner he had spent the last few months in NXT.
