Ugh.....poor Big Kev :( absolutely terrible

I’m a fan of Bret’s. I don’t even think of him as bitter. It’s a reductive way of avoiding his criticisms of wrestling, as it is with Punk — or anyone dismissed with it. But he really needs to back off on Goldberg imo. Was Goldberg the most pristine worker in 1999? No. But he is one of wrestling’s few megastars. He’s put the asses in the seats and is still an attraction to this day.

Owen broke someone’s neck in the ring. Austin broke someone’s neck in the ring. Goldberg fucked up a spot. It sucks. But the crusade against him 25 years later is a bit much.

Sucks about Kevin Nash’s son.

There’s a difference between running away on camera as a work and leaving the building as a shoot.

Uhg...no cause of death has been officially revealed, but it seems like he may have taken his own life. One his friends posted on his timeline after the news broke and said "Damn dude, life wasn't that bad :'(" and his last few posts sounded like someone in desperate need of help. Fuck this sucks.

That’s kinda what I assumed when it comes to someone that age going so suddenly. He’s had trouble with Kevin in the past two (domestic disturbance). Just a rough situation for those invested.

That sucks so much. I have been listening to the podcast at night after work and he is always mentioning him and always had a big smile when he was talking about him. You could tell he was proud of him.

You could also tell, in other moments, how upset he still was over Hall’s death. I can’t imagine what he is going through.

Shelton Benjamin and R-Truth are putting together a tag team on Main Event. Pretty good “character work” between the two. Looks like they’re going to be serious veterans looking to take advantage of the time they have left.

Apparently Main Event has featured a lot of NXT talent recently, giving them experience in front of crowds and working vets.

Yeah they had Grimes and Duke Hudson this past week work with Tozawa and Cedric Alexander respectively

It’s just their current version of Metal/Jakked, Velocity, Superstars, etc. They had a Hulu deal and I imagine it’s shown internationally. Since Triple H has taken over he’s changed up the way it’s been used and it actually sounds interesting.

The Lapsed Fan did a two part podcast on Black Saturday. They are MASSIVE shows though. Totalling 14 hours. Bix and Zellner helped them with research . It's tremendous so far

My hope is that it continues on the pace that it does and it becomes something like Sunday Night Heat was.

I love The Lapsed Fan. At first I found their inside jokes off-putting, but they somehow grow on you. They really go in deep to a subject.

I was thinking about Heat the other day lol. There’s no reason Main Event can’t be its own little intriguing thing. He might even be able to shop it somewhere, unless NBC Universal REALLY wants it for exclusive Peacock programming.

No paycheck. It’s just not really worth talking about. I woke up in the night and put the show on, at some point the app crashed and signed me out. Couldn’t be bothered to log back in. Went to watch it when I actually got out of bed, again got to the log in and was just like “nah”. Ended up reading the results. I’m sure some of the stuff was decent: ladder match, triple threat main but I don’t feel like I’m missing out.

Though to be fair, I feel the same way about AEW at the minute.

Yeah, there’s nothing new I’m watching.

Ladder match and triple threat match are def worth watching. I liked Shawn Michaels comments on being open to feedback, they had 6 matches instead of 5 and he said he thought it overlong.

Was impressed with all in the ladder match , wonder if it will be someone known who is in the person in the red hoodie (Nikki Cross? is a guess for me).
