Yeah they are both awesome. Shelton is something else though. He should have been a main event guy.

His in ring ability is proportionate to his lack of speaking ability.

While I don't disagree with you, when has a lack of speaking ability ever been a requirement for putting someone in the main event? There are people who have mained plenty who are as bad or worse on the stick and don't have half the in ring ability Shelton does.

Eh, there are ways around that. Dude’s had a pretty impressive career overall. 20 years since he debuted on SmackDown this year.

Plus they coulda just stuck him with a mouthpiece if that was the issue.

2006 would have been a good year to make a real run with him.

Yeah he did a good job but from what I heard he wasn't very well received by the locker room because of his attitude and ego. I guess he was acting like an entitled celebrity and demanded his own locker room among other things. I don't know exactly how much of that is true but I've heard bits and pieces of it from different interviews
