So they let a guy leave and used his success in another medium to boost their own numbers. I don't think we're disagreeing too much here. The fact that they could only get ex-WWE fans to come over and no UFC fans to come over and slowly lost the few ex-WWE fans who did come over isn't a good thing.

Lesnar came back in 2011. WWE has lost around half or more of their TV audience since that time frame.

Was such a big fan of his during his WCW days and what little we saw of him in WWE. Everything he did was so crisp and polished, considering how inexperienced he was. If WCW hadn't folded he'd have been a huge star for them I reckon.
