Flight: 6/10

- Mostly enjoyable and Denzel gives a great performance, as should be expected from someone as good as Denzel, but the movie is fairly predictable and aside from the first 30 minutes, it doesn't offer up much suspense or intrigue.

Ted - 7/10

Not as hilarious as I thought it was going to be. Almost like an extended version of Family Guy, in how McFarlane directed it. Still was entertaining.

First non Pixar cg movie I've seen from Disney, and really enjoyed it. Was a cute movie.

Chernobyl Diaries: 3.5/10. Just made very little sense.
The Possession: 8/10. Surprise of the year for me. Very unnerving and creepy.

FDR: American Badass - 8/10

like a filthy Leslie Nielsen movie written by a lunatic and it was fucking awesome

Jack Reacher - 68

Ending reminded me of Batman. Jack Teacher isn't the Army detective America but the Army detective America deserves.

Bernie - only watched like 60% of it but seems good

Tom Cruise was good. The villains were undeveloped, as were their motives, but overall an entertaining getaway.

Fast Five 4/5 was never a fan of the franchise even the original was passable at best although I felt this was a great heist/action flick.

The Cabin In The Woods 10/10 for originality, 6/10 for overall enjoyment.

Life of Pi. Bollywood Disney-ish style of Jungle Book/Castaway. Richard Parker the Tiger felt like the opposite of Shere Khan.

finally got around to watching doom. i always heard it was bad but i had no idea.
although the end part with the first person shooter shot was a nice touch

Zero Dark 30 - 6.5/10

Fascinating seeing it all play out. Female lead was sub par at best. 2 1/2 hours long, with only the final 20 minutes being any action. I also wonder how accurate it is. Also Osama Bin Laden dies at the end for those of you who don't know.

Django Unchained - 10/10 - absolutely great, went in thinking how great Leo, Waltz & Foxx would be portraying their parts, but it was Samuel L "Motherfuckin'" Jackson that stole the movie for me.....

Gangster Squad - 8/10 - above average movie, but I watched it 30 minutes after Django and was a bit disappointed by the lack of gore (which I had expected going in), but I think some of that could be blamed on Django being so awesome.... Emma Stone side-boob..... that is all.....

Zero Dark Thirty: Some scenes may bore you to death, but this I know. Obama didn't kill Bin Laden. It was some hot-ass bitch CIA agent hat killed him for avenging the death of her CIA BFF. :P Think I have a new crush on her. :) I love how they portray Bin Laden as an "unseen demon" in the background even when he's being shot in the dark in his own house with 2 mistresses and some kids.. . Still, a decent good movie to pass the time. Oscar Best Picture? Nah.
