I am a pretty awesome distraction when I have the riot shield in domination games. It is pretty fun to turtle-shell into a room and distract people about a second or two before your team comes rushing in to destroy everyone in the room. The shield is great for delaying people from capping points. Because sure.. you can't kill multiple people in a room very easy, but when only one sees you and the other is oblivious, you can usually get away with huddling in a corner while this guy stares at you wondering how to kill you... and then 5 seconds later, your team spawns and can take the point.

Had a pretty awesome moment yesterday.. we were playing HQ on sub base, and in the upstairs room with all the windows and an 'island' in the middle, one of my buddies played dead body inside the HQ underneath the table in the corner of the room beside the window... Everyone was cracking up watching him in 3rd person because behind him was a GROUP of people running around searching for him inside the room. They just couldn't figure it out.. He must have sat there for a good 20 seconds until someone finally saw him and started shooting. At one point, some guy stood literally ON his feet and just sat there looking around. Pretty rofl moment.

In fact my sniper class is the only one I dont use semtex with.

I don't use Semtex or Frags. I have Tactical Insertion for every class but one.

I hate the waiting part when you spawn and have to place it again, usually I want to get back into the action asap.

My TI's regulate my team's spawning and helps us hold ground, the seconds spent placing a new TI is way worth it. Not to mention it's gold during objective games.

I usually only play team deathmatch and I think shooting down every single air support is helping the goddamn lemmings more then anything.

Then when the enemy team begins congregating/respawning there you can be lined up for a couple unsuspected kills. Then when one guy gets you you respawn right back there and do it again. Or outside the basement where the lumber is. Great recon and sabotage opportunities.

TI does not remain between rounds (would have been interesting). It works best for me in an objective game by keeping your respawn close to the objective or another point of interest (cover fire, recon area).

Ya'll shoulda seen me and Cowlicks yesterday, we were killin CTF opponents like 10-0 in almost every match.

Splaya, best thing you can do is observe the maps, learn how they work and learn where people go and how the guys work. I highly recommend going into a map by yourself privately and learning your way around and how to get to different places but I will give you a couple of tips to help you out.
1) Do not be a lemming, which means do not repeatingly run at an enemy position, its stupidity at its finest.
2) Unlock uav, care package and sentry gun first. They are by far the best for beginners, make sure you are not near enemies when you call in your package and try to get your sentry before you use care as you only need one more kill and if you die you still have your care.
3) use the M4 and Scar, they are the best for lower levels.
4) shotgun as secondary and when in a building fire at whatever moves as its better to waste a shell or two then die.
5) Reload, often.
6) Learning to snipe has got a horrible learning curve and using a sniper with acog is horrible, dont bother with snipers at the start pick up snipers when killed and try getting a shot off from their perch, good way to learn without flat out commit to learning which is frustrating as you tend to die alot for awhile until you get the hang of it.
7) semtex
8) use your teammates, let them find out if someone is inside a room.
9) pick up enemy weapons, they are usually better and a great way to get experience with them. \
10) reload, often (I know this is the second time I have said this)

Me and RoXer had some hilarious wins later on. Something really funny about raping a team on CTF, but the rage-quit rate is so fucking high. If you're dominating a team in CTF chances are most of the other team were guys taking up rage-quit slots. Kills the glory a bit, I understand entering a game seeing the other have 5+ captures over your ass already.

Still, we're beast in CTF.

Pretty much hate CTF in MW2. CTF -made- Halo, but I can't stand it in MW2.

It really is garbage, I played it once and hated it. Too easy to play because people are stupid.

CoD found a way to mess up CTF with the whole 'everybody sees you with the flag' gayness, but it's still fun. Domination and Sabotage are pretty fun too.

Sabotage is very fun, also we need to have more TPWW teams, I am tired of stupid players only in team games for the K/D not the win.

It doesnt give you extra bullets, just empty mags so when you get a scavenger bag, you have more room for bullets.

I have been a huge faggot today and have been using the One Man Army/Noob tube class. It has been pretty eventful.

Also, I have been using tactical insertion in FFA and it is a riot. People are so predictable. Had these couple guys who kept rushing me cause I was camping the rooftops in Favela. Put my tac insertion in the tiled bathroom in the upstairs of one of the buildings, and then just kinda chilled on the roof. Had the same guy come over and over again.. he'd kill me, and then I would kill him and continue camping.. he'd rush me, so I'd be ready.. so I'd kill him.. etc.. cycle would continue. Kept killing this guy over and over, and he just couldn't get the hint that when he killed me, I was going to be right there again to kill him.

Nope, majority of players either just care for the kill/death ratio score or the tag team style so someone can get a nuke or certain kill streak.

I've been messing around with riot shield with tactical knife and throwing knife. I put Marathon and Commando on it and it's pretty fun. I don't do extremely well, but I do good. Every kill is gratifying, now that I'm good with throwing knives.

I get most of my kills with it when people start unloading on my riot shield while I'm crouched, and then when they reload, I whip out the tactical knife and either kill them with my 44 Magnum or I knife them. I got the same guy about six times once doing that.

Common sense doesn't apply to people who play this game online. Nothing pisses me off nope then when I am doing excellent and someone on my team is a fucking lemming and runs at a group of campers a dozen times. :mad:

I hate that, when you are having the best match ever, have 30-40 kills and the other 5 people couldnt get 6-7 each minimum.

Every couple of weeks I decide to yet again try out objective based games, and every time I end up quitting within 5 minutes. It's atrocious. Nothing in this game, in terms of weapon, perk combos, or strategy, bothers me when some players use it. Noob Tube, Akimbo 1887s, MLC Tac knifers, camping with a HBS, none of it bothers me. I acknowledge that some things in this game are cheaper than others, but it is a part of the game so I don't care. Hell, I do it sometimes. But if you go into objective games, it seems like absolutely every fucking person is using these tactics. Not to mention the fact that about 1 in 10 players seem to care about anything other than their K/D ratio. God.

And this leads into my next point. Why in the name of God can Ground War not be 2 different modes instead of mixing Domination and TDM together. I love big team deathmatches. Fucking hate Domination, for many of the aforementioned reasons. Plus it seems like the mode is skewed towards Domination. Playing tonight, I think I got 1 round of TDM for every 4 of Domination. And the problems of objective based games are only magnified on the 9v9 scale. Fuck.
