Great movie!

Really? Thought it was a tad overrated.

It sucked. And Kristen Stewart really is the worst.

Agreed, thought the dark snow white version would be better.

Road Warrior 11-21-2012 08:55 PM

Skyfall 8.5/10

I never heard of it until catching it on Netflix and I really enjoyed it. I like the concept on 'chemical attraction' and the whole memories thing it had. It was really good for a drama romance movie. Some parts made me legit teary eyed and the part when he's in his head the faces were blurry was really cool.

Maybe I need to watch it again. When I saw it the first time, everyone told me it was all deep and whatnot. I remember seeing it and thinking "that was it?!"

dronepool 11-22-2012 03:23 AM

Well it was deep but not super ultra complex. It shows our memories are precious no matter bad or good, they develop you as a person. The way the movie is filmed from scattered memories is cool.

Frank Drebin 11-22-2012 03:59 AM

I love deep movies. Anything that starts with an idea and expands on it and explores possibilities I like. Complexity on the level of Primer isnt needed, but thought provoking ideas is appreciated.

Im a sucker for movies that deal with the end of the world or the after life.

Ill rewatch in the next week or so.

The (Neighborhood) Watch - 7/10

Schlomey 11-22-2012 07:24 AM

Eternal sunshine is one of my favorite films

DLVH84 11-22-2012 12:13 PM

The Watch - 9/10
The Expendables 2 - 11/10 (hope a third one comes out soon)

Frank Drebin 11-23-2012 02:09 AM

Here are some movies I liked due to reasons I listed above. Curious to see what yall thought of these:

Moon
Akira
Sunshine
Knowing
Defending Your Life

dronepool 11-23-2012 03:32 AM

Moon is amazing.

The Destroyer 11-23-2012 03:49 AM

Inglorious Basterds - 7.5/10
The Raid - 8/10

The Raid was great. Some nice fight sequences that constantly managed to make me wince. Definitely worth checking out if you don't mind subtitled action films.

Juan 11-23-2012 04:12 AM

The Goon - 8/10

The Destroyer 11-23-2012 09:42 AM

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows - 6.5/10

Definitely not as enjoyable as the first one, but not bad.

McLegend 11-23-2012 05:44 PM

Silver lining Playbook: 9/10

Lawless - 71

McLegend 11-24-2012 08:25 AM

She doesn't look that hot there, but I still love her. Yes local landmarks and the piece of of shit Eagles were reasons why I saw the movie.

Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind- 10/10

Wow unreal. Still putting the Truman show as my favorite and best Jim Carrey movie.

ClockShot 11-24-2012 02:35 PM

Skyfall - 4.5/5

Frank Drebin 11-24-2012 06:37 PM

Sound of My Voice - 4/5

The Descendants - 8/10

dronepool 11-24-2012 10:58 PM

Mac & Devin Go to High School 4.5/10

I only watched it on Netflix because I was in the mood for a dumb stoner movie and it has Snoop Dogg in it. It was dumb but I laughed a few times.

Skippord 11-25-2012 01:37 AM

The Cabin In The Woods - 7/10

most of the points are for creativity. I did not like the stoner guy who lived longer than Thor so that made me kinda dislike it

whiteyford 11-25-2012 10:54 AM

Alexander 7/10

The Destroyer 11-25-2012 11:23 AM

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1&2 - not going to do them separately as I watched them about a day apart - 8.5/10
Rampart - 5/10

No more Harry Potter films, really surprised how much I actually liked them. Now to get started on Twilight. :shifty:

I thought he was really annoying in the beginning. Got better as it went along but the damage was done. And I was very upset about Chris Hemsworth so that didn't help

Seriously. How do you kill Thor in a movie?

Blitz 11-27-2012 01:51 AM

By making him fly a motorcycle into an invisible wall, obviously.

Skippord 11-27-2012 03:20 AM

I like that movie more and more as I think about it though

probably an 8 out of 10 in hindsight

Damian Rey 11-27-2012 07:29 AM

Skyfall-8/10

Really enjoyed this one. Huge step forward from the previous effort. Javier Bardem was great as well.
