Possibly a work for no good reason at all, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Omega is so insecure that when Dave blows another wrestler (called Ospreay the best heel in the business and on the level of Terry Funk the other day), he’s just gotta take shots.

Okay, legit question: I always thought Giant Gonzalez was supposed to be wearing a costume. Because it’s so obviously a costume. It’s only years later that I ever considered the possibility that it was supposed to be what he looked like and you’re not supposed to see a “costume.”

Just had a thought, I wonder if Gabe Sopolsky ends up writing for ROH. More and more I am interested in the ROH reboot this spring. ROH has a loyal but small live attendance in several good markets that would only increase with some fresh desirable talent and good booking.

I am expecting Gresham and Bandido to return, The Briscoes as well but I do think there is a chance one party or the other comes to the conclusion there just isn't anything left for them there.

I think that this "Control Your Narrative" stable with EC3, Adam Scherr and now Killer Kross could be a pretty good asset for ROH. Obviously Kross isn't with ROH, but he's just been announced for a "Control Your Narrative" show.

The Jarrett thing is very viable. Conrad is always busting his balls on his podcast about his "new promotion that he is starting" but he's really just playing to the rumors for chuckles.

Jarrett is involved in a minor league baseball team in Illinois, his job is to help promote the fun at the games by doing old carny shit that people love. This is basically the sum of what Jarrett explained. He also said that out of season part of his responsibilities will be renting out the stadium so that they can make money year around. He's mentioned that he has connections with carnivals, music and of course pro wrestling.

It's probably just a matter of time before something is worked out. I have really become a big Jarrett fan from his podcast, his history and experience has given him such a unique perspective. He's the son of a promoter, grandson of a promoter, a talent, a creative, an executive, an employee... Also he's really in love with wrestling right now you can tell. I'd really like to see him find a plan that would essentially be a regional company like USWA, but could rely on some kind of TV/Streaming deal to carry the load financially.

Lol, I went down a bit of a YouTube rabbit hole: I had no clue Sgt. Slaughter wrestled Funaki on Sunday Night Heat in 2000.

I can’t embed from my phone, but go take a look. It’s hilarious. Kevin Kelly alternates between being a good commentator and burying the whole thing. The match is set up by Just Joe through some horrible backstage segments (for anyone who thinks they are new).
