Some have expressed to friends they believe the company is all but dead when they got the word the tour was cancelled. TNA had never publicly announced it, but guys had been told it was on until just a few days ago. A lot of guys are putting out feelers to other promotions, but there's really not a lot of options except for GFW and ROH, with Lucha Underground shut down for now. The talent that has contacted WWE has been told that WWE is not interested in anyone from TNA, even if they would be willing to go to a tryout camp. There is a June camp but some have been told outright that it would be a waste of time to even ask for a spot, because that's the current mentality. Others have contacted AAA, but they aren't looking for new foreign regulars. A lot of talent just found out about the 6/28 PPV date, even though it had been reported for week, and others said they knew but thought it was bad they read about it weeks before the company told them

Aparently the WWE seriously bungled the Oculus film deal to the point that the other studios involved took almost all of the $44 million it made while covering the least in production costs.

According to PWInsider.com, top WWE NXT star Hideo Itami is out of action with a bad shoulder injury.
As of now, Itami is scheduled to compete in a triple threat match against Tyler Breeze and Finn Balor at the upcoming Takeover special, however it is expected Itami will be pulled from the match as he is likely to be out of action for 6-8 months.

During the eulogy being delivered by Greg Gagne, the Wrestling Observer says that Backlund interrupted and started cutting a heel promo. It was said to be "ridiculously out of place."

AAA also confirmed that CMLL rejected the invitation to participate in the tournament (which would also mean that NJPW rejected the invitation too, since they have a great working relationship with CMLL)

Some other sheet news includes: - Mexican promotion and biggest rival to AAA, CMLL recently lost its tv deal while CMLL officials are in no hurry to get a new deal done (nor really care about it).
- Zack Ryder recently got a sponsorship deal with Fuel.
- Destination America is currently rumored to be regretting signing a multi-year deal with TNA. Haven't been happy with their return on the money spent to get TNA and even dropped all the new TNA shows that were meant to be added as part of the deal.
