My buddy Co hosted his podcast. Sid got rid of him like 8 months ago because he had these absurd list of demands.
Sid takes these gigs but because his wife is rich if he decides he doesn't want to do it anymore he just no shows or cancels. |
Johnny the Bull strong as fuck.

Ok, fantastic fucking mistake. Nowhere near a typo, just who the fuck knows what I had in mind. Not correcting it.
I remember when Sid had his undefeated millennium man record going on. Then Goldberg speared him on an episode of Nitro leading to their PPV match (Halloween Havoc maybe?). Man, I was such a mark back then, but Sid was so good in his role as a face or a heel back then.
You still are!

Sid really highlights the difference between wrestling fans and smarks. For ages, it was cool to rag on Sid. He sucks, how did he get so many opportunities, etc. But counterpoint to that are people who just enjoyed fucking Sid.
I remember being kinda intrigued by the idea of Wade Barrett vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania 27. The Nexus thing happened, got cooled off a bit, then Barrett helped Kane defeat Taker in Buried Alive. Thought it was setting up him getting the spot and they just snubbed him for Triple H chasing Shawn Michaels. Turns out the plan was always Triple H vs. Taker, but Nexus were supposed to be his lackeys in a heel turn. But Trips didn’t want to turn heel. Plus he probably figured not being able to beat Taker with 8 guys flanking makes him look super-weak.
Sid was awesome but he was also really bad too. You can be both.

Give me Johnny the Bull deep cuts.
Yeah we heard.
Holy shit, Johnny the Bull is only 44 years old. I don’t know why that surprises me lol.
I don’t remember this, but apparently he worked a match as part of The Alliance in 2001. He also won the Hardcore Title on the Raw brand before turning face after being a Heat mainstay prior to being part of The FBI. I don’t really remember him doing any of that beforehand. I guess it’s vaguely popping up now, but if you had pressed me I’d have guessed he was cut when the WWF purchased WCW, then they rehired him in 2003 when they wanted bodies for SmackDown. |
This reminds me: Remember when Drew McIntyre showed up on the Raw side of things even before Vince McMahon declared him “The Chosen One?” I’m pretty sure he was a babyface and teamed with The Highlanders on Heat.
Wait, before that he teamed with Dave Taylor on SmackDown.
I remember when DH Smith was first a face on Raw too lol.
Apparently Shawn Stasiak only retired in 2010. I don’t know how reliable that is or what sort of wrestling he was doing.
Reading up on him, the guy’s career was bonkers. He once submitted a tape to the WWF dressed up as a Halloween character named “Phobia” advising kids how to trick or treat safely. It was based off the idea of a nest of spiders living under his bed. Apparently when he beat Jerry Lawler for the services of Stacy Carter, he introduced Stacy to his “mother,” Mae Young. There’s a kayfabe relationship I didn’t know about. |
I miss Stasiak. I miss all the Natural Born Thrillers. So good. So horrible.
Every few weeks I'm reminded of Planet Stasiak. What a gimmick.
Fucking TREMENDOUS gimmick

People on youtube still think this was legit. They can't see the obvious edit at 2:16 (both hands on top of the roof then both hands underneath the chassis) nor hear the jack they used to jack it up to an angle falling away at the same time. |

Is there anyone left who can strike anywhere near that good?
Nope
Scotty Too Hotty vs. Joey Janela booked for GCW's New Years Day show lmao
Scotty looks great. In way better shape than Janela
Janela looking much better these days. Very good job.
I remember seeing somebody throw a real good punch lately. Can’t remember who. Might of been from back in the day though?
As chance would have it, it was probably Scotty 2 Hotty.
