If they want it to be developmental like it was originally intended then it’s weird that that wasn’t always the case.

It’s gonna be terrible. Basically like watching Raw or Smackdown but without the occasional star power. But having the guys who oversee the main product oversee the future of the main product seems logical.

That's mostly due to Dusty dying and with him went the original focused vision or direction for NXT as a developmental system. Add in Triple H's early success with using NXT as WWE's attack brand against ROH and the indies, him letting the very positive reception from the IWC get to his head, and him developing the same hoarding mentality Vince had and you get all the deep rooted problems that plagued NXT over the years.

The worst problem was Triple H's vision for WWE's future wasn't anywhere close to Vince's vision and Vince being unwilling to adapt. That's why Vince still has the same mentality since the end of the Attitude Era of only caring about getting a couple new stars every so often to freshen up the main roster and the rest being completely disposable.

According to the Observer, WWE is preparing another wave of roster cuts as one of Vince & Bruce Prichard's first acts in charge of NXT now.

Supposedly they already have the "chopping block" ready and its just a matter of time before the pink slips get handed out.

Could explain why Ciampa spoke recently about him being more open to accepting a main roster call-up than before since he probably got wind of his name being potentially on the list.

Saw a report that AEW may look to move the date for Full Gear a little bit. Tony doesn't like running head to head against boxing or MMA apparently and Full Gear will be going against a boxing PPV and a pretty good UFC card from MSG at the same time.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, neither Vince nor Bruce Prichard will as heavy handed in the weekly booking of NXT as they are for RAW and SmackDown.

Not due to any recent backlash or any other reasons besides just a simple lack of free time available to be that hands-on with NXT on a weekly basis. Supposedly that was stated in a recent talent and staff meeting in NXT over the upcoming big changes.

Meltzer also reported that even without Vince being very hands-on with NXT, its still going to be pushed heavy in the direction of his new vision for it in regards to who gets big pushes and the makeup of the roster going forward.
