The one time Dark Order looked really heelish was when Brodie squashed Cody to win the TNT Title and then the Dark Order dragged out and beat the shit out of the entire Nightmare Family.

Which is why nobody with any sense wanted Vince to realize what was going on at the Performance Center. Instead of being a bastion of actual wrestling, it's being transformed into more of the same shit, just with people you likely haven't heard about yet. It was it's own alternative to main roster WWE, and now it's slowly equalized to almost "more of the same" levels.
