He must feel uber's or Lyft's are UCEless.

Sepholio 07-06-2021 03:34 PM

He should be approaching a permanent suspension of his license, yeah?

It's mind boggling that it hasn't been suspended already. Not that that ever stops people from getting behind the wheel anyway.

I mean obviously he needs help and I hope he gets it. But drunk driving kills roughly 30 in the US per day and injures 300,000 per year. You can absolutely be mad at the guy, especially if you know someone who has been a victim of this behavior.

Bunch of soft, sheltered bleeding hearts, who have never been affected by drunk drivers.

I can buy that argument for the drinking, but there is no addicition to driving. And that ESPECIALLY applies to someone who can afford a personal driver. I don't even mean uber or a taxi, I mean an actual person he could pay to drive him.

After hearing about it on Cornette’s podcast, I checked out WWE’s 50 greatest tag teams list and... holy fucking shit. That’s a shockingly bad list even by WWE ranking standards.

Mr. Nerfect 07-07-2021 02:12 AM

I’ll have to check it out. Thought I listened to his podcast, but I must be thinking of something else, because I don’t remember that.

Bad News Gertner 07-07-2021 09:51 AM

Windham and Rotundo who were the second most over act during their run next to Hogan (especially after Slaughter left) didn't make the list lol

David Starr who was the first wrestler outed during the Speaking Out movement has resurfaced on Twitter after a year, posting about all the rehab he's gone through in the past year etc.

Do I think people are capable of change? Yes. But that doesn't mean you can waltz right back into a having a platform.

Awful convenient he posts this just as the indie scene is reopening.

Ah, I actually completely forgot which day it was.

Is the list where The New Day is #1? I mean...I get why they feel they have to do that in kayfabe, but I think there can be a little bit of honesty about the scope of wrestling in these lists (or else what is the point?).

Probably still in the top five! Right, AEW fans?

Does USA even look at the average over the three hours, or do they take each hour as its own real estate? Because Showbuzz used to list each hour separately.

Not saying the WWE doesn’t have a problem with declining viewership. They do. But god damn people on the internet are stupid.

#1-norm-fan 07-07-2021 05:58 PM

Why does it matter to you or anyone here how USA looks at the ratings decline for Raw?

And why is this guy (who I’m assuming you’re using as an example of stupid people on the internet) stupid?

There could be a thesis written on how wrestlers enter the Rumble and it’s relative benefits. Sprinting seems to be the worst option but so many do it. I like what Akeem has done here with the “getting my schtick in” plus a light jog.

#1-norm-fan 07-07-2021 08:18 PM

“Getting my shtick in” is undeniably the best. See: Bushwacker Luke. Remembered to this day. Sprinting only works for forgettable jobbers and Titus O’Neil.

I especially love it when a guy enters a Rumble with such a shtick that it stops the match dead because his shtick is more important.

Because the business of wrestling is more exciting than the on-air content. And accuracy matters.

If the narrative being spread is that USA sees a 1.4 average as opposed to 1.7 for hour one, 1.5 for hour two, etc. then it’s just bullshit designed to polish the knobs of internet marks.

lol the entire ring stopping and just mean mugging Muhammad Hassan as he entered in 2005. Faces and heels alike, everyone was like "wow fuck this guy'

Who is spreading any narrative about how USA sees the numbers?
