Is the draft "over"?

Who didn't get drafted besides Slater? Anyone else?

Are you familiar with the product? Of course she wouldn't spoil it.

I'm sure there might be others that aren't necessarily injured, but I can't think of any.

Simple Fan 07-19-2016 11:05 PM

Bayley being her partner at Battleground makes no sense. She doesn't being anything to the story and really is not ready for the main roster. Her time will come but it's not now.

Simple Fan 07-19-2016 11:06 PM

Did Axel get drafted?

She's ready. Over like rover. Way better than skank Eva Marie.

Damn really wanted him on SD as a singles competitor.

Evil Vito 07-19-2016 11:10 PM

Final tally: Raw ended up with 41 people in 33 total picks. Smackdown ended up with 32 people in 26 total picks.

Considering Raw's picks include someone who is rarely there in Lesnar, a guy who will be part-time by next year in Jericho, and guys who go weeks at a time without showing up due to being played out in Show and Henry...that's really not a bad split at all.

Emperor Smeat 07-19-2016 11:10 PM

Just realized Health Slater can legit do the Owen White storyline of being held down by The Man since he didn't get drafted. Going to laugh if he starts having segments in parking lots now since he's not in either brand.

slik 07-19-2016 11:11 PM

I think SD has better women and tag teams and RAW has better upper mid-carders and main-eventers.

slik 07-19-2016 11:12 PM

Can Heath Slater replace JBL on commentary please?

Split probably will grow once they start filling in the Cruiser division with the guys from the CWC tournament and/or former WWE wrestlers like the rumors hint at.

Ruien 07-19-2016 11:14 PM

They did a good job splitting the rosters. I want to watch both shows. Rollins is always a must see. Love Cena and Wyatt on Smackdown. Wyatt Family might have been booked like shit but Wyatt himself rarely loses matches he is involved in.

Complaintbrag. :n:

Ruien 07-19-2016 11:15 PM

Smackdown wins though because it is only 2 hours long.

SlickyTrickyDamon 07-19-2016 11:17 PM

Raw wins because the Era of the Demon has begun.

You have that backwards. SD has the better main eventers and mid card while Raw has the better Tag and Women's divisions.

GD 07-19-2016 11:18 PM

Met Mr. Cena Sr. in the garage. He told me "how you doing?".

SlickyTrickyDamon 07-19-2016 11:18 PM

Tag Division winners- SD
Womens-Raw.

And they had better picks. Smackdown all the way.

SlickyTrickyDamon 07-19-2016 11:19 PM

Real teams that can wrestle AA could be the start of a Smackdown Six.

Emperor Smeat 07-19-2016 11:21 PM

Wonder if Luke Harper goes to Smackdown when he returns to reform the Family now that Strowman is gone.

Evil Vito 07-19-2016 11:21 PM

I think they gave SmackDown more than enough star power to get people to tune it. If I'm concerned about anything it's that many of their big names have already feuded with one another. I have no desire at all to see Cena vs. Wyatt or Ambrose vs. Wyatt again, for instance. And god help us if we get Cena vs. Orton again.

Orton/Wyatt feels like an obvious feud sometime after SummerSlam. Perhaps Bray will interfere in the Lesnar/Orton match or something.

Meanwhile as I said not long after he was picked I actually can see Cena mixing it up with Baron Corbin sometime this fall after his business with Styles is wrapped up. Easy to look at that and say "ugh" but I actually don't mind Corbin even if he's a dreadfully boring promo.

Don't see how anyone e can say SD got the better Tag teams. AA is an unproven NXT team. Breezeango has potential but I don't see WWE don't anything with them. Vaudevillians are a shit team. Usos are the only proven team on the roster.

Emperor Smeat 07-19-2016 11:26 PM

RAW got the stronger tag division. American Alphas basically became the marquee team for Smackdown by default.

Women's division ended up splitting pretty well considering it didn't look that way during the draft on tv.

Midcard feels stronger with RAW but probably depends on what happens with Cena and Orton on Smackdown. If both stay in the main event scene, Smackdown's midcard takes a big hit.

GD 07-19-2016 11:29 PM

Went to Smackdown Live! The show wasn't as great as I expected it to be but we tried to have fun.

GD 07-19-2016 11:30 PM

Did you all see a portion of the titantron / LED board falling down after Kane's entrance?

Dark One 07-19-2016 11:31 PM

Hoping we get some trades in the next few days to mix things up a bit. Rosters look a bit like "more of the same" just split into two sections, and a couple of precision trades could really mix things up.

It's ovah!

DrA 07-19-2016 11:32 PM

Why wasn't it that great? Usually the live shows are supposed to be really good no matter what the quality of the show is.

Dark One 07-19-2016 11:33 PM

The main pick I'm excited about is Alexa Bliss going to Smackdown.

Cautiously optimistic for Finn, but we'll see.

Lock Jaw 07-19-2016 11:36 PM

How long is Emma out..... feel like she needs to go to Smackdown.....

Also, is Tamina done?

Dark One 07-19-2016 11:39 PM

Tamina supposedly had another knee injury, I think. Emma's out for close to a year, I think.
