Mutu is now saying he only took drugs to boost his sex life.
Probably couldn't get it up because he was snorting too much blow. Man, this dude is a fu</>cking idiot. |

I'll remember and kill him while I'm at it so we can have someone with half a brain in control of FIFA. |
You think FIFA would vote in a replacement with half a brain? No chance, the guy who gets in is the one who lines up the best hookers on the jaunts to tropical islands.

I'm in then :shifty:

It depends on the amount...if they can get someone on intent to supply they will

Beckham got off without punishment for that deliberate booking thing but it's not likely the FA would properly punish the England captain, considering they also failed to do so when Shearer kicked Lennon in the face about 6 years ago. |
I don't want Beckham to be punished. As much as he pisses me off, he's an influential player in our team and I want him to be there.
|
Why not? So he can be a prat again and get suspended for a game that matters?
|
I think that we have more imprtnat games coming up but I don't want him suspended. He got the 2 bbokings out of the way, now let's concentrate on the football and qualify.
|
A warning is enough really, he just shouldn't have admitted it.
Great performance from Liverpool, really should have won by more. |

Oh and LOL at Gudjohnsen scoring a hat trick. I always had faith in him. Shows Mourinho did the right thing to stay loyal to him. Mind you, IMO Kezman worked MUCH harder in the 20 minutes he was on then Eidur in the 70 minutes he wass on for. I felt really bad for Kezman when he hit the bar, the guy can do everything but score, good to see the fans singing "Come on Kezman, Come on Kezman" and him clapping us and putting his thumb up, then us clapping him back. Second time we did it he started worshipping us . Before anyone else says it, at the moment he acts like a Forlan. But I can't wait till he gets a few under his belt.
Robben is the man  |
Crystal Palace 3 West Brom 0
Andy Johnson for England. Come on you Eagles, i liked Chelsea's formation yesterday, Batman and Robin will be the goods soon. |
I wouldn't be worried about Kezman, anyone who betters van Nistelrooy's record for PSV can't be bad.
|
Kezman is the man, he hasn't exactly messed up as bad as some people have been saying, I don't think he's played a full game for Chelsea this season so far. Plus, let's face it, before yesterday nobody else was banging in a shedload of goals either.
|
Yeah it's just a matter of time before he finds his feet, but at the moment you've just gotta feel sorry for him.
|
Kezman is much more confident than Forlan and cockier. He'll do well eventually, given the chance.
He was really unlucky yesterday with the chance that hit the bar. If you're on form, you step up and put your foot through that, rifle it into the net. When you're not scoring, it bobbles up and comes off your shin. Kezman's record speaks for itself. |
That Southampton/Birmingham game was terrible.
Feel sorry for Heskey, he just had no support despite winning almost every aerial challenge. |
this game is going to be good. i hope there's no repeat of last year's rubbish and it'll be a seven goal thriller - i can hope at least!!
come on united!! |
It will seem like the greatest game ever for me, having just watched that last game.
|
I can only get odds of 3-1 on Stewart Downing playing for England before the World Cup.
Best English Left Sided Midfielder in the last 15 years easily. |
bye bye arsenal's unbeaten record...go rooney!!
|
Not really a penalty but congrats Man Utd, also to Arsenal for the unbeaten run.
|
2-0 YES!
|
LOL at Nistelrooy pushing Lehmann, I hate RvN but its always funny to see someone do it to Lehmann, he truely deserves it.
Might not have been a penalty but The Fake Ronaldo should have got one later on when Ashley Cole slid him by the byline. United defended really well and Rooney getting a penalty for diving didn't exactly please me but since Arsenal dive I guess what goes around comes around. Thoughts for the league title? I'm going for United, and not because they played well today, but because they are the best team in the league. I have said since June that they will win the league and I am sticking by that. |
Still Arsenal for me.
|
Yeah, I'd have to go with Arsenal as well. United will make up ground but I just think they've left themselves a bit too much to do this time.
|
Arsenal all the way.
|
K having just seen the BBC highlights (love how they still completely refuse to come down off the fence for *anything* )
-Ferdinand should've been off, there's no way that was not a foul -Van Nistelrooy should be suspended just as Redknapp was not so long ago. It was just a bad a hack as Redknapp's, maybe worse as there's no way he was going for the ball. -Rooney dived. Anyone with eyes can see that. However, Cole on Ronaldo definitely was a penalty, so in that sense it evened out. |
well ive got to say that mike riley really shouldnt be allowed to ref utd matches anymore. every game he refs for us he gives us really dodgy decisions - isnt it something like 8 penalties in 8 games now??
rooney went down but the angle the ref had it did look like campbell caught him. and rio is the luckiest guy in manchester tonight. the only way he couldn't have got sent off is because freddie kicked the ball too far before he went down. however this is the sort of thing that can change seasons on their heads. to be honest i cant see arsenal screwing up and not winning the title but stranger things have happend. be interesting to see whether a) arsenal can come back from what is a moral crushing loss, and b) whether united can take this result and go on from it and get a winning streak going. |
Quote:
United don't get players sent off at home, simple as. Like last season when Chelsea went their at the end of the season and had Scholes been rightfully sent off (was booked for diving) after fouling Lampard from behind, then he would have missed the final. And there is no doubt that it was a bookable offense. When NEwcastle played their and someone (G Neville possibly) passed it back to Howard Shearer nipped in in front and got the ball, Howard kept swinging and swiped Shearer's legs by accident. Had Shearer dived he should have been booked, had Shearer not dived then it should have been a penalty, instead neither was awarded. I would give other examples if I could remember them, but I'd like to see the stats on things like United players sent off at OT, penalties awarded to ManYoo and penalties awarded to opposition. |
Well there was that old 10 years without conceding a penalty at home in the league one, i think that was broken last year by Steed Malbranque scoring one or at least Danny Murphy's.

Mate you cunts (Arsenal) will win the league anyway so relax. ;)

It was hard to see that it was a dive, Rooney went down convincingly.
In the 1994 F.A Cup final Ellery gave a penalty and didn't change his decision despite the linesman who was in a MUCH better position saying that it was not a penalty. |
Quote:
Even though on the replay you can see its not a penalty, if I was in Riley's position I'd have given it. |
Quote:
Ljungberg wasn't going to score, he knocked the ball too far in front of him. Rio clashed with him, and fouled him sure enough, but it wasn't stopping a goalscoring opportunity. Wasn't a professional foul, wasn't a red card. Just a free kick. |
|
lol thats quite funny. i should put a bid in to keep him at united.....he's worth more than forlan was at any rate.
hopefully RVN will get banned by the FA now - in replay you could see him look at cole and then raise his studs. that was absolutely outrageous. even though he's my favourite player, he still should be banned for that disgraceful act. and hopefully mike riley will be banned as well -didnt they do that to another ref earlier on this season?? and rio shouldn't have been sent off but at least arsenal should have got a free kick. and if you want to see a bad penalty decision, watch the highlights of the barca game at the weekend....ronaldinho was embarrased by the decision!! |
|
Quote:
The following must be corrected before continuing: • Sorry, your bid amount of £10,000,100.00 is too large. But thats the next lowest you can bid :'( |
Get Roman on the case

I was just thinking that

Burnley 3 - Villa 1
And they missed a peno. What utter shit. We had our best 11 out aswell. Injuries can't be an excuse for that kind of preformace. Total crap and our one slim chance of Europe is now gone. |

Samba stars to join Garforth Town
<!-- S BO --> <!-- S IIMA --> <table cellspacing="0" align="right" border="0" width="203" cellpadding="0"> <tbody><tr><td> http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/image...ocrates203.jpg </td></tr> </tbody></table> <!-- E IIMA --> In one of the most unlikely moves in recent times Brazilian legends Socrates and Careca have agreed a deal with Yorkshire non-League team Garforth Town. The majestic pair have long since retired but the lure of a spell in the Northern Counties East League has proved too much for them. Careca, 44, and Socrates, 50, could also be joined by former international team-mate Zico, who is another being lined up by the club. Garforth owner and manager Simon Clifford said: "I put out a few feelers and Socrates said he would be interested. He's a pretty principled guy and isn't interested in the money - which is just as well because we're not paying him. "I'm told he's still in good shape, although he's still smoking. I'm pretty strict on discipline and smoking but I guess I can make an exception for him. "Careca's also coming for next season and Zico is going to try his best." Clifford has built up a string of contacts in Brazil through his Socatots coaching schools. And his masterplan is to bring Garforth into the Premiership by 2025 and also tried to snap up 1994 World Cup winners Bebeto and Romario. Socrates, who joins former England international Lee Sharpe at the club, skippered Brazil at two World Cups and was unquestionably one of the greatest players of his generation. He has signed a one-month deal with the club and is expected to make his debut against Tadcaster Albion in front of a capacity 3,000 home crowd at Garforth - a far cry from playing in front of 200,000 at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro. Socrates - not surprisingly - has a reputation as a deep thinker with strong views not only on football but society in general. Quite what he will make of Garforth - a former pit village in the heartland of West Yorkshire - remains to be seen. A doctor by profession, his new team-mates will include a gardener and an electrician. <!-- E BO --> |
wow that's big news. its glad to see that not all the famous footballers are obsessed with money and fame.

It's a good way to get past our immigration laws, he probably gambled his money away. :shifty:

Another footballer collapses on-field and dies. :-\
http://www4.sbs.com.au/home/index.php3?id=51250 Brazilian player dies SBS Sao Caetano defender Serginho has died after suffering a heart attack during Wednesday's Campeonato Brasileiro match against Sao Paulo. The club's official website stated that the 30-year-old suffered a suspected cardio-respiratory arrest although the official cause of death was not immediately released. The match was abandoned after Serginho's collapse in the 59th minute at the Morumbi Stadium in Sao Paulo. Medical staff at the ground attempted to revive the player - who full name is Paulo Sergio de Oliveira Silva - as stunned players looked on helplessly while others break down in tears. Serginho was still unconscious when he was rushed to the Sao Luiz hospital with Sao Caetano president Nairo Ferreira later informing reporters that he had died shortly after arrival. "We did what we could do, but the situation was very serious from the moment he fell to the ground," doctor Jose Sanchez said. Serginho is survived by his wife and his 4-year-old son. The incident occurred just hours after Bolton midfielder fainted during the warm-up for Bolton's Carling Cup match against Tottenham. The Senegal ace - who has a history of heart problems - has recovered and is in hospital for observation. Earlier this year, a third-division player collapsed and died during training in Budapest while Benfica's Hungarian player Miklos Feher collapsed during a Portugal top flight match against Vitoria Guimaraes and later died in hospital. In 2003, Cameroon star Marc-Vivien Foe collapsed and died after suffering a heart attack during the semi-final of the Confederations Cup. RIP :( |
sadly it seems to be happening more and more now, there got to be something hidden in there, for all these super fit atheletes to just collapse and die.
thoughts so all the family RIP :( |
In this case he was fully aware of the risks in playing though. Earlier in the year the club found he had a heart problem and he signed stuff saying he wished to play regardless. Still a shame though.

He is obviously talking about the United match and not the player dying.
And Mutu has been sacked by Chelsea. |
I wouldn't have sacked Mutu. I'd hold his contract for the two years he is suspended and suspend his pay.
|
Yeah they should have let Jose and Mutu have a proper talk about it and then decide.
Although Mutu apparantley said he was close to punching Mourinho after he refused to let him play for Romania. |
Hearts' Craig Levein was unveiled as the new Leicester City manager earlier today.
http://skysports.planetfootball.com/...Levein+as+boss Leicester have unveiled Craig Levein as their new manager. Levein quit Hearts earlier on Friday after both clubs agreed a compensation package for his move south. The former Scottish international replaces Micky Adams at The Walkers Stadium following his departure earlier this month. Levein revealed it was a wrench to leave Hearts, but that it has always been his ambition to manage in England. "Leaving Hearts was very difficult, but it was not a difficult decision," Levein said. "The decision came about through my own ambition to manage in England and ultimately to manage in The Premiership. "It was hard to say goodbye to some good friends and people I enjoyed working with immensely, and particularly the players who gave me the opportunity to join such a fantastic club as Leicester. "For a year or so now, I've been looking. And I realised to get to the English Premiership, where I wanted to be, it would be difficult to do that from a provincial club which Hearts are. "I've been looking for a club with the same ambition as I have, and the recent history of Leicester would dictate that they are a Premiership club. "I'm very confident that we match each other's ambition and we can move forward together." Levein also revealed he is looking to bring in a new number two with experience of English football, as well as his assistant Peter Houston from Hearts. "Peter Houston will join me in some capacity and I have someone in mind as my number two and I working on that right now. "I want an assistant that knows a lot about The Championship and English football and in general, people who know more than me." ---------- I don't know anything about the guy, or whether he's any good, but the FoxFanzine.com posters seem to be happy about it, but thats probably just because that means no more Harry or Wilko. |
Yeah i would have been happy with anyone but those two, just a shame Bassett is going back to being director of football.
Levein himself seems a quality appointment and seems to have done well at Hearts, another young manager is what most of us wanted and the only downfall is the compensation really. |
Let's hope he's not another Paul Sturrock eh ;)

Ahah United you complete muppets beat Arsenal give yourselves a chance then lose to Portsmouth of all people. I mean Arsenal only drew but thats shite

fucking cockney reds?
robert, sit down and think about what you just said. |
<font face=verdana size=3 color="#ff6600">I honestly don't understand why its such a big shock to everyone that we won. We beat them last year, drew with Arsenal, drew with Newcastle, beat Liverpool twice, spanked various other teams. The fact is, we had the best home form in the league behind Arsenal, Chelsea and Man U last season, the same as Liverpool. Had we been better away from home we would've been pushing for Europe.
I was more confident of getting a result yesterday than I was when we played Spurs, Everton and Birmingham simply because I knew that unlike those teams, United would allow us to play football rather than stifle us and we were never not going to score. Good times.</font> |

Wolves have sacked Dave Jones.

Quote:
and the fact you haven't got a manager |
LOL yeah good one, we'll probably play better without him :|
The man will be remembered for a long time for finally getting us into the Prem but the start this season has been absolutely atrocious. Gillingham was just the icing on the cake. The season's not quite a write-off but it's going to take something spectacular for us to get promoted now. As for replacements I dunno...foremost in my thinking tbh is John Gregory, he knows the area, did a good job at Villa (far as I'm concerned he didn't deserve to be sacked, Taylor came in and almost got them relegated, then O'Leary took basically the squad Gregory built and got them back into the top 6 or so) and to be quite honest he'd make a refreshing change as someone who isn't afraid to speak out and be blunt...not saying Jones didn't but too often there'd be excuses where blame should've been apportioned. |
Gregorys a dodgy fucker mind a lot of stories of Villla paying over the odds with money going his way. But still hes a decent manager but questions were asked over what he paid for some players ( I.E Balaban for 6 million )
