Was reading a RAW recap...AJ/Omos haven't been on the show since winning the belts at WM? Are they both injured?

The business world LOVES her. She's perfect for this.

She's starting to get the old lady chest with freckles above the sweater kittens.

Isn’t there Corvid issues?

Emperor Smeat 04-27-2021 06:04 PM

Its either that or one of them managed to get hurt at Mania and WWE is keeping it a secret.

Nothing else would make sense as a reason to not have them show up since its not like anything interesting has happened for the RAW Tag division since Mania outside of Orton now being buddies with Riddle as a team.

I can’t begin to describe how much I hate the fact that this is a proper description for someone running a wrestling company.

Lots of time to read and learn while you're living in your basement. AEW fans really propping this up.

Emperor Smeat 04-27-2021 09:16 PM

CMLL broke off their partnership with Ring of Honor today.

Supposedly its due to them being very upset several ROH talent were going to work for RUSH's new promotion in Mexico and ROH doing nothing to stop them since they consider RUSH's new promotion to be a potential threat and rival.

Bad News Gertner 04-27-2021 09:20 PM

CMLL being CMLL

Emperor Smeat 04-27-2021 09:31 PM

Their level of pettiness towards wrestlers and other promotions is like the Mexican version of WWE.

I wouldn't be surprised if their partnership with NJPW is the next to go since its been in a fragile state ever since their antics against NJPW over NJPW's booking of Dragon Lee after he had a falling out with CMLL.

"Vince and I are two peas in a pod; I love the asshole. I do. He's an asshole. Sometimes. So am I." - Piper

This A&E doc is pretty decent, but of course, it involves some eyerolling moments from Hogan...

i want to know what jim crocket did to vince, when jim died no salute. now in this piper bio acting like piper went to gcw just after portland forgetting wrestling in mid atlantic.

Bad News Gertner 04-28-2021 08:29 AM

I gotta check out the Piper documentary.

drave 04-28-2021 08:44 AM

It's good. So far, the Steve Austin and Piper A&E docs have been done very well. I don't know even a 10th of the shit you know, so maybe there are some big details missing, but the stories are told extremely well.

Bad News Gertner 04-28-2021 09:00 AM

I always found it interesting how much Piper gets talked up despite sucking ass at everything he did post Wrestlemania 3 aside from the WM8 stuff with Bret. I LOVE everything Piper did prior, but man was he just fucking awful after he left in 87

drave 04-28-2021 09:05 AM

The thing I remember most as a kid was him and Bad News Brown. Where he painted himself half black and did that weird promo where it sounded like he was struggling to breathe.

I think it was the WM6 promo.... not where he was in the crowd, but it was a backstage thing.

I thought he was a fucking cartoon in the late 90s when I started watching. I remember wondering how is this bitch with saggy tits beating Hogan.

#1-norm-fan 04-28-2021 09:50 AM

I don’t remember ever not loving Piper. He was easy to root for. Even loved the Lawler feud when I was a kid.

Also, he was great on Always Sunny.

What was he saying this time, yet another story or 2 that somehow never tallies up with everyone else's version of events? I remember him claiming he was in the room with Calloway when the Undertaker character was given to Calloway, which according to Calloway never happened and Vince offered him the character over the phone.

Hogan always seems to have this magical ability to somehow insert himself into relevant moments in wwe history, regardless if he was with the company at the time or not.

What a feud. Wouldn't appear in person so he just kept sending in terrible videos

Big Vic 04-28-2021 12:44 PM

You didn't like his Tag Title run with Flair?

Bad News Gertner 04-28-2021 12:53 PM

He looked like he was about to give birth

I'm guessing Savage got lost at some point trying to run out to Sherri.

Thank God Bubba put him through a table to distract from this monstrosity.

Well for starters, one of them was how *he* was being the voice of reason on how Piper needed to job to Mr. T to help make wrestling bigger, and that a couple decades later in life, Piper agreed with him in hindsight.
