lol Seth Rollins is still wearing Shield gear on Main Event. It even has the Shield logo on it.

#1-norm-fan 06-10-2014 09:38 PM

Kinda makes me wanna see something happen where Triple H comes out on Raw and says he owns the copyright to the name "The Shield" and is forbidding Ambrose and Reigns from using it and giving it to Seth Rollins instead. Would be a cool dick move. Rollins could bring some handpicked members in to form a new Shield as a team or he could just start using "The Shield" as a nickname or something.

Dirtsheets (All from F4W):

Quote:

WWE camera crews were told to shoot far away with no close-up shots when they had to shoot John Cena during last night's RAW. This is because of Cena's eye, which was still swollen on Monday but not nearly as bad as it was on Sunday. This isn't the first time Cena has had a facial injury and WWE went out of their way to keep it off TV.
Quote:

There are no plans for Brad Maddox to return to WWE TV yet. The former RAW General Manager was tweeting about taking a vacation and getting out of the country.
Quote:

We noted before that WWE was considering a second Money In the Bank ladder match for the MITB pay-per-view on June 29th. Apparently they were looking at announcing the second ladder match on last night's RAW but obviously didn't. Word is that the second ladder match, which will be for a future title shot, will feature up and coming talents while the top Superstars will be in the main ladder match that's for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Title
Quote:

As we first reported last month, WWE is working on a new "Macho Man" Randy Savage DVD that will feature a documentary on Savage's career. Cincinnati Reds announcer Marty Brenneman mentioned last night that he was recently interviewed by WWE for the project.
Quote:

Ric Flair may be brought back to WWE TV at next week's show with The Miz, since it's in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. As noted, the latest word was that WWE was putting Flair with The Miz when he returns
Quote:

Word coming out of RAW is that both Bray Wyatt and John Cena will be in the Money In the Bank Ladder Match that's for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at this month's pay-per-view.

#1-norm-fan 06-10-2014 09:56 PM

WWE is really dead set on putting Flair with The Miz.

If they think that highly of him you'd think they'd have actually put effort into The Miz over the past... I don't know... 3 years or so.

Innovator 06-10-2014 10:11 PM

Will Miz finally learn how to properly put the figure 4 on?

GD 06-10-2014 10:13 PM

The Miz was so hot back in 2010. I think that he is not very effective when it comes to unscripted things.

#1-norm-fan 06-10-2014 10:19 PM

He's not as good on the mic as you'd think a guy who is pretty damn charismatic would be. It's weird.

Droford 06-11-2014 12:37 AM

Cena/Bray/Cesaro/Orton/Del Rio/Sheamus and ????

Its 2 heels (del Rio and Orton) 2 faces (Cena and Sheamus) and 2 tweeners ( bray and Cesaro)

Trying to figure out the 7th man. I'd almost bet HHH would pit Ambrose against Reigns to drive a wedge between them.

Also, who would be in an up and coming contract match? Bo Dallas, Rusev, Big E...would they call up another NXTer ?

Droford 06-11-2014 12:40 AM

Had a weird idea where Cena wins the title and gets cashed in on by Rusev and Rusev wins. Rusev would somehow win the rematch and then Lesnar would return to break another streak and beat Rusev as a face..somehow...

SlickyTrickyDamon 06-11-2014 12:42 AM

Still wondering if they will have a Cash in ladder match with the rest or not. Seems likely since they love the cashing in dynamic.

Really not digging Mojo right now.
Like, seriously, he NEEDS to change his finisher. Let him do a 3/4 stance lariat instead of his half of what Earthquake weighed quake.

FourFifty 06-11-2014 02:24 AM

So WWE is helping out with the Special Olympics... is Emma helping out, or participating?

Never seize to amaze me

Mr. Nerfect 06-11-2014 05:56 AM

Kind of think that all the guys who have failed to qualify would make a great secondary Ladder Match for the PPV. Dolph Ziggler vs. Bad News Barrett vs. Rob Van Dam is a good start. I've got a feeling that John Cena and Bray Wyatt will qualify for the Ladder Match, so that would mean that they'd logically be another face and another heel for the match. Then there's another person to qualify, and that could be anyone else. It'd make sense to announce that match after everyone has qualified as a "but wait, all is not lost for you guys" moment.

Mr. Nerfect 06-11-2014 05:57 AM

That Emma wasn't with Santino Marella on RAW either gives me hope that the WWE has decided to stop trying and force that awkward pairing because it is doing nothing for Emma...or that they are just going to can Emma. :(

Tom Guycott 06-11-2014 08:51 AM

Just getting around to watching RAW, late as usual... and I can't stop laughing at where Roman goes "You commited the most unforgivable sin..." and someone in the crowd yells "SIN CARA!"

Mr. Nerfect 06-11-2014 08:56 AM

Loved Dean Ambrose's promo. Reigns did a good job too. Everyone kicked it up. They all want to be stars.

He's almost the opposite of RVD. Van Dam is a compotent promo, but quite shitty at delivering movie lines. Miz is a better actor and interview than he is as a wrestling persona.

But part of of the problem with Miz is being in unnatural and forced positions. He always comes off as annoying as a face, but he is an excellent douchebag asshole heel. He also seems to be better when someone is there to compliment and/or play off of him- such as JoMo, R-Truth, or his "adversarial" on-camera relationship with Maryse (I love they did that as opposed to just being a couple onscreen like DB or pretending the other person doesn't exist like Cena.)

erickman 06-11-2014 10:16 AM

they need to put the miz back with r-truth instead of flair, thats the only time the miz was any good

screech 06-11-2014 11:15 AM

I like Miz generally, but I think he is horrendous as a face.

He has that dickhead vibe about him that makes him a great heel.

Evil Vito 06-11-2014 12:18 PM

I'm fine with The Miz in his current position. Namely, off television. I haven't really been able to bring myself about anything he's done since Awesome Truth ended. Putting him with Flair would just feel more forced than he's already been before.

He's a good ambassador for the company and will do all kinds of news conferences and media appearances. Let him keep doing that. Keeps him employed, stays mostly busy, and on the weeks he doesn't have any media appearances it just means he'll have more time to enjoy Maryse's vagina. I'd think he'd be okay with that.

They are still together according to the dirtsheets.

Emma was not on RAW this week because she's currently in her native Australia doing promotional work for WWE for the tour there later this year.

Daniel Bryan has been removed from WWE's July 12th Madison Square Garden live event and Ric Flair has been added. Triple H was scheduled to face Bryan in a Street Fight but will still be appearing. As of now, this is Flair's first scheduled WWE appearance after passing his medical testing to return as a regular performer.

It was noted that if Bryan is not able to return by SummerSlam, then a lot of plans will change. It was also noted during the episode that Bryan is being groomed for a program with Brock Lesnar.

Apparently the outside company that issued the casting call didn't expect that it would be such a big deal on the internet among fans. WWE officials were very upset that this got out because they don't have Sting signed to a contract yet.

WWE's mentality is that they are just looking to get Wyatt over. WWE never intended for fans to sing along when Wyatt sings "The Whole World In His Hands" and they never intended for it to be a babyface spot. However, it's become a trademark for Wyatt so they aren't looking to take it away from him just to make him more of a heel.

It's Goldberg, he is the only one to wear tights like that and win a world title.

GD 06-12-2014 01:18 AM

It's clearly Maven.

Sepholio 06-12-2014 01:25 AM

Just made me think of Maven eliminating Taker at the RR. That stare Taker gave him and the 'I'm gonna poo me britches' look that Maven had as a result.

screech 06-12-2014 09:55 AM

Maven :y:

Hanso Amore 06-12-2014 10:22 AM

I thought Maven had some good run all things considered.

Just never really did enough with him when he was hot for like 30 minutes.

Innovator 06-12-2014 11:51 AM

They put themselves in a weird spot where he needed a lot more training but they had to get him on TV

Savio 06-12-2014 12:05 PM

He was a good Hardcore Champ

XL 06-12-2014 01:16 PM

Remember wanting Maven to turn heel and join Evolution.
