His Broken character was fine until he went back to the Wwe.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WELCOME TO WWE DYNAMITE. We're LIVE in Bridgeport, Connecticut at The Webster Bank Arena!!!

Mattitude was funny for a moment...in 2003. He got that windfall in 2005 when Lita cheated on him, and he blew that. Apart from that he has been pretty awful.

Damn Braudy Lee calling Noid out for a match at Full Gear!? Sign me the fuck up!!!!
|
Damn
|
Really looking forward to seeing what this Adam Cole guy can bring to AEW’s junior division against Marko Stunt and Brodie Lee Jr
|
There was a moment in the brawl where Luchasaurus chucked Marko Stunt at everyone.... and JR confused Marko with Adam Cole, and I was just like "understandable".

1.32 million for AEW this week
|
2nd best in Dyna history I believe, behind the premiere.
|
Predictable rating. I thought they would get a 1.3 this week. Next week it will be 1.2. Then it will settle back into the 1.1 range. Whenever that Grand Slam show is will do 1.3 too. But it all trickles back down.
|
They'll never hit a million
I knew they'd hit over a million, but it'll go back down See it went back down, this is where it will stay, they'll never hit a million again I knew they'd be over a million again, but it'll go back down again!!! < loop> |

And yes, they will go back down. That is what always happens. They hot-shot something big for attention, they get it, a lot of people say “not for me,” then they go back to that 900k-1.1 million range. The big things on the horizon are Arthur Ashe and Ric Flair. They’ll probably scrounge something together after that, but it will likely continue in this pattern for a long-ass time. |
With TV ratings dropping across the board every year due to fewer people watching live TV, I feel like it's more likely that the way AEW could beat Raw in viewers would be when Raw eventually drops down to like 1.1 million or something in a couple of years, rather than AEW getting over 2 million

I think it’ll be around a year or so before Dynamite gets close to or matches Raw but as of late I’d imagine they and TNT are very happy with the results so far.
|
The elite v Danielson drew 1.5m viewers. Color me impressed.

Wrestlenomics Brandon Thurston gave some more details about AEW's ratings this week compared to WWE's shows.

Patreon post has been updated with additional info, charts and context: https://t.co/Eb1yQbsqwF

I'll be doing a live YouTube ratings talk at 5:30pm ET at this link: https://t.co/HctgvTMwst pic.twitter.com/ek6liQ24zq
— Brandon Thurston (@BrandonThurston) September 9, 2021
Basically shows how big the gaps are in certain areas that AEW would need to close first before they could even think about toppling RAW in overall viewers in the future. Plus where AEW is cracking the armor of SD which would be an even bigger deal if they toppled them one of these days considering FOX's network status compared to TNT's cable status. Even if AEW numbers were to drop big next week, they'd still have the valuable experience and foundation in place to act as a launch pad for the next time. |
It only makes sense that AEW is finally beating both NXT and Raw because WWE is essentially a product for retards and burn victims.

Melissa Santos went on Twitter to proclaim her husband Brian Cage is being misused in AEW and should be a top star. Don’t get me wrong, I like Cage enough. Good look. Great finisher. Kinda clunky in the ring and I’m not big on him trying to wrestle a style that’s not complimentary of his physical appearance, but he’s a good talent and they’ve featured him and mostly protected him since his debut, and he’s in finishing up a year long storyline with team taz. He also can’t cut a decent promo that I’ve seen and seems vanilla as fuck, personality wise. I get it’s get husband and she wants him to be the top guy but let’s be realistic here. He’s far from misused. He’s been beaten clean 3x in the last year as far as I know, one of which was Taz throwing in the towel and the other with Darby pinning him on a crucifix bomb off the top rope and was made to look like an upset.
Misused is certainly not the word I’d use. Underutilized, maybe. But even then. |
Feel like Brian Cage would fit in better in WWE tbh

Thicc boi power rankings
1) Miro 2) Archer 3) Luchasaurus 4) Wardlow 5) Hobbs 6) Cage I mean I get it. He’s been pretty much an afterthought. But he hasn’t been very exciting in his time on tv. Hope he can turn it around. |
Does John Silver count as a thicc boy?
If so, I'd put him and maybe Bear Country over Cage in AEW's thicc boy power rankings. |
Silver is more of a low key thiccums
This is more about meaty men slapping meat. |
Oh. Those rankings look about right in that case.
Luchasaurs feels a bit too high but can't go wrong with a nice hoss fight between any of those guys together. |
I think Cage is probably a better talent than 3, 4, and 5 on the list. But where they are on card now, he’s definitely at the bottom.
Still better than Hager though. |
Yeah I'd put Cage over Hager and maybe even Bear Country over Hager.
That recent MMA style match Hager had against Wardlow would have been way better had it been much shorter. Both guys being gassed half-way deflated a lot of the excitement their hoss fight had up until that point. Even in Lucha Underground, Hager felt more in the lower end for meaty guys which made giving him LU's top belt a big head scratchier, especially since the company shut down right before the whole evil higher power supernatural group with him storyline would have taken off. |
Luchasaurus is ridiculously over, which Cage isn’t. I didn’t realize Hobbs has beef wrestling since 2009. He’s still 7 years younger than Cage. Wardlow isn’t doing much more of anything at all than Cage.
I don’t think Cage has much to complain about. He’s still getting tv time and segments and he’s getting another match with Starks before they hopefully move on to the Punk v Team Taz feud they planted seeds for. I think breaking Cage from Taz was a bad idea for him. He needs a mouthpiece and he works well as a heater/hired gun type where he can just wreck guys and not talk much. |
The timing didn’t work out but if Cage would’ve ended up being Dan Lambert’s muscle it would’ve been perfect.
|
AEW definitely has a thicc boi dilemma. Basically only Miro and Archer can get themselves over. Everybody else needs help.
