The card is fully loaded as of now and that's leaving out Starks/Cage, a match for Malakai and a match for Andrade. Since they bumped the Battle Royal from Buy In to main card that would make you assume they are probably not adding matches.

I just cannot fathom Malakai not having a match or a huge angle on the PPV. Andrade could get away with a promo and be fine but Malakai with nothing is very odd.

Andrade needs to get the win here, so I wouldn't debut a new talent for this match. Put him up against orange Cassidy. Cassidy is mad over so Andrade getting a win over him will get him some good heat. Especially if he wins dirty. And it wouldn't hurt Cassidy at all.

I feel fortunate that I have yet to have a single issue with streaming any AEW PPV on BR Live. *knock on wood*

I'm reverse. Sling constantly takes a shit, but BR Live has been great. Sling shits out on regular watching.


I use an Xbox to stream, I'd never do it on a phone. Lots of reasons that could be a crappy experience.


After WWE changed their Network provider, whenever that was, it was also super shitty.

I have bad experiences with Sling and watching Dynamite. Usually the stream will lag at some point and leave me behind a minute or so. So it ends up that I often miss the last minute or two of the show like last night.

Have you ordered the PPV's from Sling?

Xbox used to be better for me with Sling but the last two weeks casting to chromecast from my phone had less buffering and better picture.

Andrade needs to wrestle somebody who can put him over. He’s had one match. He needs to go over. And Cole and Danielson shouldn’t be losing their debuts either.

Perhaps they could do an angle where Flair debut's as Andrade's wing man. I know he has Chavo but he has not been good.

If they had one match spot left and it was between Andrade and someone else or Malakai and Cody or Malakai and someone else, I'd go with Malakai. Flair could be enough of a moment to make Andrade's PPV angle worth it.

Kazarian would be a great opponent, but that would be kind of random, since he's feeding with the Elite right now.

Would be cool if they got one of the luchadores from aaa that they've used in the past. El Bandido or Loredo Kid.

Fuego del sol is another possibility since Andrade beat the shit out of him. Though that probably wouldn't be as good a match as the other options.

Always ordered PPV's on BR Live. I've ordered "movie rentals" from Sling before... never an issue. Sling seems to shit out most with "live events".

Feels like if it was COVID, then the Lucha Bros probably would be off the card due to them being in recent close contact with him. Could just be Khan wanting to wait till the last minute to be sure PAC wasn't going to show up in time before making that big announcement. PAC has a similar problem WALTER has where he gets very homesick after a while which is why he's been traveling often despite the UK's strict travel rules for COVID.

With Sasha, last I head is that nobody is sure what's going on with her beyond it not being injury-related. Her catching COVID wouldn't be a shock considering she's recently been hanging out with anti-vax type people and spreading some misinformation about it online. Then again, same issue that if it really was COVID, then Bianca probably would have been out longer due to being in recent close contact with her.

Well, it wasn't Rebel written off but it appears it might be Julia Hart instead. She got hurt in her match on Dark and they then did a backstage beatdown from Jade and Nyla apparently to write her off.

I've read that Pete Dunne's WWE contract is up and he has been offered an extension by WWE. Obviously he's got to be on the AEW radar as he's one of the best talents anywhere in the world. It would be just another level of awesomeness for AEW if they get this guy.

I think AEW's roster is now at the point where we should be leaving behind those "off weeks" on Dynamite that we've experienced so often. Not as often since touring began but there have been a few episodes that weren't "awesome".

They have almost not excuse not to book every show with at least one must see match right now.

I've been vocal about Bray Wyatt joining AEW. It's obviously a huge catch if it happens. But they are packing a lot of talent right now with only 3 hours of proper TV a week and 4 PPV's a year. If I had a choice I'd probably chose Dunne over Wyatt.

I dunno. Bray is kind of unique and different from other people AEW have on tap. Pete Dunne is absolutely excellent but he wouldn't stand out nearly as much over there. If I was AEW I'd love to have both of them but if I had to pick one it would be Bray.

Realistically though at some point AEW either has to stop hiring people for awhile or they are going to have to start making cuts. There roster is getting bloated like WWE. It's not as big yet but WWE has 7 hours of TV per week as opposed to 3 for AEW. They are going to end up in the same boat of not having time for everyone and people are going to get lost in the shuffle.

I dunno I may take Dunne over Bray just because he is 7 years younger. Lot more time to work with him and if he becomes a big star he can be a long term boon for them. Tough call.

Yeah I've been saying their roster has been blocked for a while, but they just keep adding people. That said, you definitely don't want to pass on the people they've been getting lately, but but maybe don't give folks like the factory and the Gunn club so much time.

I was brought here by the news of Seth82, but figured I would contribute a lil bit.

Been watching AEW, pretty great for the most part, only wrestling outside of Lucha Underground I’ve watched in the last 8 years or something.

A few guys I don’t care about but loads I do. Lots of guys whose names I know of from WWE like Malakai Black but never saw him before AEW, he’s pretty sweet.

Gonna watch All Out now, might add my comments in the thread.

CM Punk is seemingly a massive gimp irl, but to be fair even I was very excited by his return a few weeks back.

Fantasy booking, but man signing Bray, Braun, and Rowan together would be great. I'd love to see what a properly booked Wyatt family could do. Its one of the few tried and true wrestling gimmicks they dont have, a stable that terrorizes everybody. An attack that can come at any time on anybody on the roster, and those 3 fit that billing perfectly.

Also, with Billy Gunn being given a prominent role last week with a heel turn, I expect him to finally get the world title he deserves

Imagine if they signed Bray and he came out to "He's got the whole world in his hands". I'd mark tf out lol

I think the one benefit to a loaded AEW roster is that they can cycle through and take guys off TV for a month or two (ala Hangman) and be totally fine.

So many guys in WWE have said they wished there could be an offseason. Bigger names like Orton, etc have negotiated time off etc.

With AEW they can give everyone a breather at different times throughout the year and still have plenty of star power.

They can cycle them out, loan them out and give them a rest. Monsters can't constantly steamroll over everyone for months and them get jobbed out for 6 after losing to the good guy and expect the fans to think they are dangerous. Push the monster, defeat the monster and lend him to Impact or NJPW for 6 months instead to keep him from being stale

The hypothetical "would you sign Bray or Dunne" question really comes down to what one does better than the other and it should be obvious. Would you rather have the one that can work better matches (Dunne) or tell a better story (Bray)?

What’s responsible for AEW is the WWE getting giant TV rights fees. That’s it. That’s the only metric that makes something like AEW even slightly appealing to Shad Khan. You can spend millions of dollars on big stars and not make it back on gates and merch, but can get it back via TV.

They don’t have off weeks on purpose. They think that everything they are doing is gold, which is frustrating, because if you aren’t going to analyse yourself properly, how are you going to honestly improve?

The upside to bringing in world class talent like Bryan, Cole and Punk is that there shouldn’t be room for trash, and it should be almost automatic to put on better television. But this is the promotion that saw no issue with following up CM Punk’s debut with Matt Hardy vs. Orange Cassidy, so...

Matt Hardy is one of the biggest stars in the buisness.

This. They just need to find balance with only 4 PPVs a year. I guess this is where the TV specials come into play.
