According to WWE's website, he's now known as Riddle going forward.

Also Netflix recently bought a multi-part documentary film based on Vince McMahon with Bill Simmons as the executive producer.

Only bummer is that WWE is also working on it meaning it very likely won't be as wild as it could be considering some of the stories involving Vince's life and career in wrestling.

I'd assume either WWE relaxed that rule or possibly some legal stuff wasn't finished yet for WWE's complete takeover of Twitch and Cameo accounts.

The whole situation was handled poorly to begin with in terms of the PR side and WWE being way too vague on what was actually going to happen. Didn't help that the middle man between talent and Vince was somewhat inept with the company's messaging.

Apparently the reason for Matt Riddle getting his first name chopped off is due to WWE didn't want people Googling his name and have the details of his sexual abuse accusations and lawsuit pop up easily.

Only way they change is via government action since the courts already sided with employers when it comes to independent contractor stuff.

UFC winning against a fighter who sued them over similar issues ended up being a big blow to the leverage WWE's talent used to have over the company. WWE used to fear the idea of being taken to court over their independent contractor shenanigans since the prevailing view for years was that they'd easily lose. Its why when they tried to stick a 1 year no compete clause on Del Rio when he left, it got quickly dropped since he threatened to take them to court.

No but the strongest belief was it being something mental health related since she has a history of it.

Considering how she abruptly no showed one of Impact's biggest events of the year and Impact being very hush regarding her health status, that added more fuel to that belief being the real reason for her sudden departure from AEW.

The seedier rumors about her departure was something David Bixenspan and Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp looked into but couldn't find any real evidence supporting it. Sapp even responded to a recent thread on r/SquaredCircle about the differences in reporting between Rae's AEW and Impact incidents and said nothing actually changed except there being a lot less wild rumors and cover-up accusations floating around this time.

I always loved WCW Saturday Night

He basically just let the wrestlers do whatever they wanted. He came up with the Hacksaw Jim Duggan finding the T.V belt in the trash. It was mostly defended on Saturday Night. Mini storylines were Saturday Night exclusive. Plus he had power plant guys like Mark Jindrak in his basketball player gimmick and Chuck Palumbo in his Tarzan gimmick mixing with vets brought in as enhancement talent like Tommy Rogers. It was a fun show.
