xrod was right all along. I can admit that like a big boy. A lot of people here think of themselves as really "logical," but it's basically a dog pile of reaffirmation. Sometimes it's fun to exaggerate and go to town on AEW because a bunch of you get upset, but the general sentiment is the truth, and that stings people the most.
AEW is bad wrestling. Argue against that point. No one does. They just say things like "I think AEW sucks too, but I think you're a wanker and yadda, yadda, yadda." I'm getting real sick of the "Why not let people enjoy AEW if that's what they enjoy?" straw-man. Sure, go and enjoy bad wrestling. |

Current rumor going around the net is that Shane McMahon might be replacing Bruce Prichard as the new lead writer of RAW.
Prichard supposedly wants to lessen his workload since its gotten too much for him to handle. |

That is entirely incorrect. There are a few things put on TV that I did not like, but my issue since day one has been pretty much anything they do outside of producing wrestling content.
Stuff like Jericho going out of his way to say Walter has a stupid wrestling name, or Kenny Omega giving interviews how NXT wrestlers would all be in dark matches on Dynamite, or the owner arguing with people on Twitter about demos, it's all offputting. I've posted multiple times that Cody does all that extra stuff right, and they should be following his lead. So yes, AEW is an enjoyable watch, it is the rest of the week I wish they weren't so Carny/Indyriffic. |
