Ok, I'm starting up my new promotion NWA: Hardcore City or NWA: HC. This promotion is made in a game that Adam Ryland created where the Wrestlemania with Hogan V Andre bombed and the wrestling world was still under the NWA Banner. In this timeline Vince McMahon is running his own NWA promotion which controls the East Coast. NWA: HC is run by Paul Heyman, and is basically ECW (I'll explain this one further once I can find all the basic info again).
Now this is my first show NWA: HC Hardcore House Party (on Spike TV Late Evening) Here's some basic storyline info from what I'm doing. Current Champions: NWA: HC Heavyweight: Rob Van Dam (Heel) NWA: HC Television: Steve Corino (Heel) NWA: HC Tag Team: Dudley Boyz (Faces) Storylines: Current NWA: HC Heavyweight Champion Rob Van Dam, along with The Extreme Horseman (Simon Diamond, Steve Corino, C.W. Anderson) have been running roughshed over the NWA: HC roster. Paul Heyman the commision of Hardcore City has decided that he has had enough of this Alliance and has sworn to take it down. But who will allign with him. Meanwhile, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, and Justin Credible were meant to team up to face Raven, Monty Brown and Randy Orton, but Orton signed a written contract with NWA: East Coast. So with Orton's sudden departure will anyone be able to replace him, or will Raven and Monty have to fight by themselves? Along with this, Jerry Lynn has left an open challenge. Who will challenge the New "Fuckin" Show? Find out. Jerry Lynn V Christopher Daniels The Match: Jerry Lynn dropkicks Daniels after leaping off an upturned shopping cart! Flying reverse elbow by Jerry Lynn. There's a two count on the pin. Lynn goes for a splash but Daniels puts the knees up. Dropkick connects to the butt of the jaw and Lynn goes down. Hard back suplex on Lynn. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. Hooks the leg for a two count. Hip toss onto a chair by Daniels! Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Lynn takes a flying neckbreaker from Christopher Daniels. Christopher Daniels misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Lynn crushes Daniels with a huge legdrop. Hooks the leg for a two count. Springboard dropkick from Jerry Lynn. Nicely done. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Flying elbow from Jerry Lynn connects. Face slam on the table by Lynn. Daniels backdrops Jerry Lynn out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Christopher Daniels. Hard back suplex on Lynn. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. Springboard dropkick from Christopher Daniels. Nicely done. Christopher Daniels misses a clothesline...and takes out the referee accidentally! Jerry Lynn floors Daniels, then signals for the Cradle Piledriver. Meanwhile, Christopher Daniels has something in his hands. Lynn comes over...and gets nailed with a set of brass knuckles! The referee wakes up to see the pinfall: 1....2....3! It's over. I don't think the fight has finished. Jerry Lynn and Daniels have begun brawling again! They wind up brawling all the way down the aisle and out of view. Crowd Reaction: 39% Match Quality:94% Overall Reaction:66% Paul Heyman is backstage with Raven & Brown. He tells them that they can select a new third partner to team with them in the upcoming six man match, replacing their scheduled partner. Overall Rating: 83% Steve Corino V Samoa Joe Title: NWA: HC Television Simon Diamond & C.W. Anderson have been banned from ringside. Frying pan shot by Corino. Massive back suplex! Samoa Joe got snapped in half, but not literally because that would just end the match now wouldn't it. Hooks the leg for a two count. Samoa Joe avoids a Steve Corino avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Corino is a glutton for punishment and just continues to take it during this match. Fallaway slam by Samoa Joe puts down Steve Corino. Covers for a quick two count. Joe hits Corino with a plastic dinosaur! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Steve Corino by Joe. Remember when that was a legit finish? Corino blocks a punch. BRAINBUSTAH~! by Steve Corino! Hooks the leg for a two count. Massive lariat! Stan Hansen would approve. Pin, but Joe is out just before the three count. Corino drives a thrust kick into the chest of Joe. Corino rams Joe into a table. Corino charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Flying shoulder tackle by Joe sends Corino CRASHING to the mat. Brutal sit out powerbomb on Corino! Samoa Joe floors Steve Corino. Steve Corino gets locked in the Kokina Clutch! Submission victory! Steve Corino leaves the ring and heads off down the aisle. Corino obviously didn't want any more of a beating tonight Crowd Reaction: 67% Match Quality:89% Overall Reaction: 78% Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Justin Credible V Raven, Monty Brown & Kenta Kobashi Raven slams Justin Credible. Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Justin Credible by Raven. Remember when that was a legit finish? Tag between Raven and Kenta Kobashi. Flying shoulder tackle by Kobashi sends Credible CRASHING to the mat. Credible walks into a side slam. Think about how much talent it takes to side slam someone. Nash can do it. Covers for a quick two count. Tag to Monty Brown. Kenta Kobashi scoops up Credible. Brown bounces off the ropes and hits a flying Hart Attack clothesline. Running knee lift from Monty Brown. Monty Brown gets taken down out of nowhere! Monty Brown charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Tag to Tommy Dreamer. Tag to Raven. Sabu charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Tag to Justin Credible. Raven gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Raven powers out of a Justin Credible headlock. Raven moves in for the kill. Here it comes - Raven Effect. 1....2...3, it's finished. Crowd Reaction: 71% Match Quality: 72% Overall Reaction: 71% Paul Heyman is backstage with Joe & the debuting CM Punk. Paul Heyman was on hype duty tonight, this time for a match against Extreme Horsemen. Overall Reaction: 86% Rob Van Dam V Yoshiro Tajiri Title: NWA:HC Heavyweight RVD walks into a high dropkick from Yoshihiro Tajiri, almost losing several teeth in the process. Yoshihiro Tajiri dropkicks RVD after leaping off an upturned shopping cart! THERE IT IS! A legdrop to the BACK OF THE HEAD! I swear, that makes any match just a little bit better. I don't mind telling you that every time I see it, that's for sure. Spin kick by Yoshihiro Tajiri to the face sends the opponent FLYING across the ring. Rob Van Dam elbows Yoshihiro Tajiri in the face to break a hammerlock. Tajiri takes a thrown chair to the face! Flying cross body off the top rope! There's a two count on the pin. Tajiri pushes out of a Rob Van Dam hold. Lightning kick by Tajiri on RVD. Hooks the leg for a two count. Diamond Dust from Yoshihiro Tajiri and RVD is out! Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! <font color=goldenrod>Right, so I picked this up off the shelf again. I'm an ECW and a Smackdown away from my ECW Anarchy Rulz PPV. Unless something happens, here's the card:
Undisputed Title - Chris Jericho vs. Raven ECW Television Title - Iron Man Match - CM Punk vs. Kurt Angle Undisputed Tag Team Titles - Ladder Match - MNM vs. Rob Van Dam and Sabu vs. Edge and Christian ECW Hard Bastard Title - Test vs. Mick Foley bWo vs. Muhammad Hassan, Rene Dupree, and Finlay ...and some other matches that I'll probably wing at the last second</font> |
<font color=goldenrod>Alright, well here's the Anarchy Rulz results:
-To get the fans warmed up before the show, they were treated to an ECW Rules tag team match between Doring & Roadkill and the Chair Swinging Freaks, which Doring & Roadkill won. **3/4, 68% Overall -Lance Storm pinned Johnny Swinger. Afterwards, Justin Credible came out and The Impact Players delivered a beatdown. **3/4, 72% Overall -Mick Foley pinned Test to become the new ECW Hard Bastard champion. **1/2, 77% Overall. Afterwards, Tommy Dreamer came out and attacked both guys, which led to... -Tommy Dreamer pinning Mick Foley to become the new ECW Hard Bastard champion. **1/2, 72% Overall -The bWo defeated Finlay, Muhammad Hassan, and Rene Dupree when Nova pinned Dupree. **1/2, 73% Overall -CM Punk defeated Kurt Angle in an Iron Man Match to retain the ECW Television Championship. ***1/4, 87% Overall Rating. Nowhere near as good as I thought it would be. -Rob Van Dam and Sabu won the Undisputed Tag Team Titles over MNM and Edge & Christian in a Ladder Match. ****, 91% Overall -Raven delivered an interview. 87% Overall. Will he walk out of Anarchy Rulz as champion???? -No. Chris Jericho cheated to defeat Raven and retain the Undisputed Title. ***1/4, 91% Overall 82% Overall Rating...thanks mainly to the back end of the card. The show was nowhere near as good as I thought it'd be. 1.91 Buy Rate ----------- It's also the end of the month, which brings these notes: -I'm crushing TNA on a weekly basis -Dusty Rhodes is back from rehab -Raven has decided to become a non wrestler! :( -A ton of people need their contracts re-upped</font> |
<font color=goldenrod>I'm now a week away from the SmackDown! exclusive PPV, No Mercy. Here's the card:
No Mercy 2007 (SmackDown!) Undisputed Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio WWE United States Championship: Bob Sapp vs. Masato Tanaka Undisputed Tag Team Championships: Rob Van Dam and Sabu vs. The Mexicools Mikey Whipwreck vs. Shawn Michaels Cage Match: Deuce Shade vs. Booker T Randy Orton vs. Matt Hardy Ken Kennedy and Montel Vontavious Porter vs. Batista and Chris Benoit Winner is GM of SmackDown!: Theodore Long vs. Eric Bischoff --- Truth be told, this is probably one of the worst cards I've ever come up with, IMO. But I think it can do alright. I actually booked Whipwreck/HBK because I thought HBK was a lightweight in game and I would have made it for the Cruiserweight Title</font> :o |
<font color=goldenrod>Here's the No Mercy results:
Pre-Show: The Pitbulls cheated to defeat Paul London and Brian Kendrick. ****1/4, 87% Overall Eric Bischoff defeated Theodore Long to become the new GM of SmackDown thanks to help from William Regal. FINALLY I managed to get the hot poker up the ass as a rating  58% Overall (if the overall rating of the show sucks its because of this match) Matt Hardy pinned Randy Orton. Orton got frustrated after and RKO'ed the ref. Pretty sure he hasn't won a PPV match yet in 2007. ***, 81% Overall Masato Tanaka pinned Bob Sapp to become the new WWE United States Champion. **1/2, 75% Overall MVP and Mr. Kennedy defeated Chris Benoit and Batista by cheating. ***, 76% Overall Deuce Shade defeated Booker T inside of a steel cage. ***, 79% Overall WWE Cruiserweight Champion Mikey Whipwreck shocked the world by pinning Shawn Michaels cleanly. HBK got pissed and assault Whipwreck after. ****1/4, 89% Overall Rob Van Dam and Sabu defeated The Mexicools to retain the Undisputed Tag Team Championships. ****1/2, 90% Overall Chris Jericho cheated to retain the Undisputed Championship against Rey Mysterio. ****, 89% Overall The show pulled an 80% Overall Rating. Would have been a LOT higher had I not done Bisch/Long, but it was necessary for my storylines. Probably should have had each guy pick a representative instead of doing it this way, and the score would probably be like 83%. Ah well. 1.88 Buy Rate I'm still winning the battle with TNA because I have superior workers. Kurt Angle has basically until the end of 2007 to re-sign with me, which I doubt will happen. His morale is 100 yet for some reason he refuses to negotiate. I'm gonna have to job him out and crush his overness because he'll probably go to TNA.</font></font> |
Ok, I finally threw together a game that I liked and am sticking to, but neglected to post the shows. Here are my five done shows:

I also plan on the World Tag titles going to WGTT, and the IC title to go to AJ Styles. CM Punk is going to move to Smackdown eventually, go heel, and take the US title and hold it for a while. |
<font color=goldenrod>I always forget that putting on talented matches raises overness. Hence why in my game I have Tony Mamaluke, Jamie Noble, Kid Kash, and Funaki with 80+ overness. I'm determined to get the whole cruiserweight division like that.
Anyways, I've not really planned anything out for Survivor Series yet, outside of the fact that I plan on having at least 3 Survivor Series elimination matches (one per show)</font> |
There is an awesome website with really detailed EWR/TEW "diaries".
Here it is: http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/4200/ I have my own "diary" running called WWE '07 Once More, With Feeling. |
<font color=goldenrod>OK, I'm a week away from Survivor Series. The card is absolutely loaded. My entire active male roster is involved, including a non-wrestler (Raven), and three women. All matches are based on, well, surviving. For the interbrand matches, I've denoted which brand everyone is on.
Undisputed Championship Elimination Match: Chris Jericho (C) vs. John Cena (Raw) vs. Raven (ECW) vs. Rey Mysterio (SmackDown!) <font color=goldenrod>After running with the Undisputed Title for a year, I'm thinking about bringing back the WWE, World Heavyweight, and ECW Titles. My main eventers just don't have the titles to fight for. I mean, they can fight over the IC/US/TV titles, but then my midcarders are left in the dark.</font>

I just picked this up again the other day after not playing for quite a while. Only two months have passed since WotW, and I'm leading into Survival Of The Fittest, which is just two weeks away. Here's the card.
WORLD TITLE - Sean Waltman (c) vs. Colt Cabana PURE TITLE - Austin Aries (c) vs. Bryan Danielson TAG TEAM TITLES - Mark Jindrak & Sean O'Haire vs. The Briscoe Brothers (c) WORLD TITLE #1 CONTENDER - Ace Steel vs. Alex Shelley vs. Johnny Jeter FEUD-ENDING LADDER MATCH - El Hijo Del Santo vs. Mikey Whipwreck TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH - Mike Sanders & Shawn Stasiak vs. Chuck Palumbo & Johnny Stamboli Shocker vs. Cibernetico Devon Storm vs. Vampiro Gotta get ready for work, but I'll try and post more background-style stuff later, including the new stables I've put together. |
lol I have TEW 2005 and haven't played it since paying for it. I may pick it back up and play some more, is it still worth messing with or has he got a version out that's light years better already?
|
The new one is decent, from the demo I've played, but there are no up to date mods out, so haven't even considered buying it. I'm gonna download an EWR update at some point.
|
I like EWR better than TEW tbh
|
Yeah, EWR still has a good amount of depth without having to go so into detail. It took me about three times as long to book a card in TEW than in EWR to get the same basic outcome.
I just wish someone could take up the EWR project and update it with some new feature. |
I loved the original EWR version that had relationships added, because everyone was bitching constantly and it was fantastic. Now, it seems as though in 4.2 Ryland made it rarer, its not quite as fun.
EWR is great though if you wanna get through a game quickly, I must say I always got more satisfaction out of TEW when things went right, because it is far harder. I know that some people have been trying to edit the match types and gimmicks in EWR, but thats about all it would seem. |
<font color=goldenrod>Yeah, I have a tendency to play EWR habitually for awhile, and then stop. I've not done anything basically since the last show I posted.</font>
|
There's an update coming out end of the month, so I'm gonna wait and probably get that and do a WWE game where Raw is for the Big Names, Smackdown is for talented/new workers and ECW is...well ECW again.
|
So WWE just signed Alex Shelley to a written contract...
Fortunately, I was going to have Ace go over in the contenders' ma-- Oops. Uh... spoiler! |
<font color=goldenrod>With me away from my normal WWE game (which might be lost forever if I can't get my PC fixed), I've started a new scenario on the laptop I'm using.
Basically, I'm taking the reigns of the WWF in June of 2001. I'm set to book the Invasion and beyond. Right now, I plan on starting it off the way it was originally intended: WWF and WCW will be two separate entities, however the KOTR tourney will be interbrand. Each show will have its own wing of the tournament, and the KOTR PPV will see the semifinals as well as an interpromotional final match. That's when the war will really start. However, unlike in WWE, my Invasion will probably more resemble the Raw/SD feud from a couple years ago - faces and heels working together for the common good of their promotion, rather than the WWF all being face and WCW all being heel. I've made 4 signings to start off and try and help beef WCW up a bit: Reno and Johnny The Bull (to complete the NBT), Big Vito, and Rey Mysterio Jr. Expect more guys to be coming in with time...especially since I have no competition outside of 3 small shitty promotions. In fact, the biggest challenge with this game will probably be dealing with the egos and relationships among some of the people I'll be bringing in. Smackdown will be re-named Thunder and will be WCW's show. Expect ratings to suck at first because a lot of the inherited WCW guys are un-over as shit but I don't want to just bring in every big name I plan on bringing in just yet. Also gonna have to work on the titles. The Hardcore Title has a 0 image (yes, 0)...and the Light Heavyweight Title is only at 40. I've got 15 titles in the promotion right now as well (though the ECW ones are suspended)</font> |
<font color=goldenrod>KOTR Tournament Brackets:
WWF BRACKET: D'Lo Brown vs. Perry Saturn Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy The Rock vs. X-Pac Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero Tazz vs. Raven Kane vs. Rhyno Maven vs. Big Bossman Tajiri vs. William Regal WCW BRACKET: Big Vito vs. Johnny The Bull Hugh Morrus vs. Mike Awesome Jamie Knoble vs. Lance Storm Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr. Lash LeRoux vs. Mike Sanders Diamond Dallas Page vs. Buff Bagwell Billy Kidman vs. Yang Sugar Shane Helms vs. Shannon Moore</font> |
I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place on EWR.
I'm 3 years into a game that I started as a backyard promotion, I'm 100% Global and the WWE is plummeting :-) However, there's something fucked up with my data, so every like 3 months or so it won't comprehend the new month. It sucks royally. I also have a WWE game with new stats and updates, but it just isn't fun :-( I'm just not having fun with it, and I don't want to start new again, at all. So...yeah. <font color=goldenrod>King of the Ring Results. A bit of a scheduling error occurred, and as a result I had to bump the E&C/Dudleyz Match to Heat.
Heat: Edge and Christian defeated Buh Buh Ray and Spike Dudley to retain the WWF Tag Team Titles via Christian cheap pin on Spike. The Dudleyz retaliated after, putting E&C through tables. ***1/4, 80% Overall King of the Ring Semi-Final: Diamond Dallas Page defeated Big Vito. <font color=goldenrod>Well, as you can see...I had to bump E&C from the card because I forgot that you can't have someone run in after a 4-way match for some reason...it needs to be its own segment.
Also, I admit I kinda cheated. I signed Goldberg to an Open deal and then used Arsenic to convert it to Written. The reason being, Goldberg WOULDN'T accept a written deal worth the maximum amount of money monthly...which is pretty unrealistic and I'll probably have to deal with it with every big name I'm gonna bring in. Note that's all I'm gonna use Arsenic for - getting people to written. Not gonna alter stats or anything, so Goldberg is gonna be his untalented self. But dammit, I'm doing the Goldberg/Austin feud everyone wanted to see.</font> |
Shit I don't know how long it's been since I posted in this topic. Anywho, I'm playing TEW 2005 and I'm currently controlling WWE in March 2006. I'm gearing up to WM 23. Now some of my booking plans for the show kind've mirrors the actual event. But first I figured I would break down my rosters so you can see what is going on.
-------------------------------- ROLL CALL OF CHAMPIONS Raw: WWE Champion: John Cena (won it recently from Edge, was going to do Edge/HBK at Mania for the title, but Edge kept being a prick backstage so I dropped the title to Cena.) Intercontinental Champion: RVD (won it from Muhammad Hassan a few months back will probably keep until Wrestlemania) Women's Champion: Trish Stratus (has held the title since I started the game, will probably drop it at Mania) Tag Titles: MNM (won it from Rhyno and Tajiri in Tajiri's last match with the company) Smackdown: World Heavyweight Champion: Batista (like Trish, has held the title since the start of the game) United States Champion: Booker T Cruiserweight Champion: Christopher Daniels (won the title in a four way at No Way Out) Tag Titles: The Dudleys (won titles from America's Most Wanted a month ago game time) TOP STARS Raw: Faces: 1. Plus I'd like to use Kane, Big Show, and Samoa Joe in there. I'm thinking of a Samoa Joe/Big Show interpromotional match. |
I started a new game a little while ago, so I think I'll follow suit and give a little background information about my game.

<font color=goldenrod>I've not booked anything since KOTR, mainly due to lack of time. Plus I'm also trying to brainstorm some ideas.
As evidenced by the KOTR results, Goldberg has debuted, and he has stolen Austin's WWF Championship. The main event I've got scheduled for InVasion is obviously gonna be Austin vs. Goldberg for the belt. Also, with Eddie losing the European Title and as a result having to leave WWF, the obvious next step for him is gonna be joining the WCW roster, and he might exercise his re-match clause or something so they'll have another match at the InVasion PPV. Sorta like in real-life, I'm probably gonna load the card with WWF vs. WCW matches. 9 matches if you include Heat. Depending on what I can come up with, I might have an Inaugural Brawl-style match (though it might end up being the Natural Born Thrillers vs. 5 WWF midcarders).</font> |
<font color=goldenrod>Booked the first week after KOTR finally now that I've planned out what I'm gonna do for InVasion.
Some major happenings: Austin kicked off Raw by demanding that Goldberg return his WWF Title. All he got for that was another surprise run-in and a Spear. To make matters worse, Austin has to defend the title (or at least the rights to it) against Chris Jericho, the man he screwed at KOTR. Austin got the nod there thanks to a surprise run-in from another WCWer, Chris Kanyon. But after the match, Goldberg made his mark again, once again surprising Austin with an attack for the 3rd time in 2 nights. Austin would gain some measure of revenge on Thunder. Goldberg made his official in-ring WCW return against Buff Bagwell (one of the men responsible for ending his earlier tenure with the company). After a victory, Goldberg was this time blindsided by Austin...getting planted with a Stunner. Austin has reclaimed his title. Meanwhile, Chris Kanyon delivered an interview on Thunder...explaining why he cost Jericho his match on Raw. He blasted the Intercontinental Champion, saying that the United States Championship was far superior. Obviously the plan is for there to be a match between the two at the PPV (probably not a Unification Match). --- Also, on Raw, Kurt Angle celebrated his victory of Shane McMahon...Angle deemed WWF superior. He recruited Tag Team Champions Edge and Christian to help him out. Team ECK crashed Thunder, ruining a good cruiserweight match and beating both competitors senseless. Shane repsonded by bringing 3 tough guys out of the WCW locker-room: Big Vito and KroniK, out for an impromptu 6-man tag match. Team ECK got the victory, but not without using some cheap tactics. Shane has promised that Team ECK will get theirs in the future. The plan here is for Shane to bring in 3 guys to face them in a 6-man tag at InVasion. Not sure if I'll keep them a mystery until the show or not.</font> |
Why don't you try and hold off Austin/Goldberg til Wrestlemania.....
I mean, that way you can probably start the fued after the Royal Rumble (using the fued mode thing) get 100% heat and make up for the fact the match itself will suck. Ok, you can't simulate it like reality, but think of it as Sting/Hogan in 97, hold it off for as long as possible, and the buy-rate would've been stupidly insane, people would tune in to see what happened next, plus it means you can get creative with ways to keep them apart.... |
OK, so I decided to start a new game.

OK, so my TNA isn't doing bad, considering I was in debt before the end of the first month ::eek::
Anyway, I'm like two months in right now, and am not really doing any storylines yet. I have a habit of throwing everybody I can into development, then having a really small roster for a few months. I'm in the middle of December, getting ready for my Hellbound PPV. Impact! is on Wed. Nights, Prime time, on UPN. I'm doing a tournament for the X Division Title, with the final at the PPV being Spanky v TAKA Michinoku. Frankie Kazarian, on the heels of a huge push, is out with an eye injury for 2 months ::fag:: All of my bookings that had Kazarian in it are going to replace him with D'Lo Brown lol. Off to work I go. |

Someone tell me where to get a current roster/data update for EWR.
|
Actually, don't care. Started a new game with TNA today. Though I did make one tweak. Johnny Nitro at the start of the game is not contracted to anyone.
Anyway, with the roster patch I found - still has Monty with TNA and Elijah unemployed. Meh, whatever. Good for TNA. Also, started on Rock Hard for my first game back in.... - well, entirely too long to try and remember. |
Couple of pages back I posted a link to updated versions.

AJ beat Chris Daniels in a non title match to become number one contender for the X belt, which Daniels holds.

<font color=goldenrod>Booked another week of shows. I wanted to do more...but the laptop I'm using is disagreeing. It is lagging big time. I was hoping to do the final week of TV and then Invasion right now but it'll have to
wait till later, as I have to go to work soon. Crazy things have been happening...feuds are continuing to form and you've got WCW guys interfering on Raw and WWF guys interfering on Thunder. I booked probably my most bizarre match on my most recent Thunder. Austin, HHH, Palumbo, and O'Haire vs. Goldberg, DDP, Taker, and Kane. This is based off of what happened on the Raw I booked. Austin's team got the nod but its safe to say neither team could really co-exist as a huge pier six brawl broke out. This match definitely helped Thunder's sagging ratings. As did an appearance by The Rock. After Booker T defeated NBT leader Mike Sanders, Booker was getting beaten down, only for The Rock of all people to run out and save him. They fought off the NBT together, and The Rock announced that he has total respect for Booker, and he wants to challenge him for the WCW Title at Invasion. Booker accepted. Basically, here's the card. Best of 9 series between WWF and WCW. WWF guys are listed first, WCW guys second. WWF Championship: Stone Cold Steve Austin (C) vs. Goldberg WCW Championship: The Rock vs. Booker T (C) WCW Tag Team Championships: The Undertaker and Kane vs. Chuck Palumbo and Sean O'Haire (C) WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championships: The Hardy Boyz vs. Billy Kidman and Rey Mysterio Jr (C) WWF European Championship: Chris Benoit (C) vs. Eddie Guerrero WWF Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho vs. WCW United States Champion Chris Kanyon Triple H vs. Diamond Dallas Page Team ECK vs. Three Mystery Opponents WWF Lightweight Champion Dean Malenko vs. WCW Cruiserweight Champion Sugar Shane Helms (sadly this match will have to be relegated to Heat but it will still count in the series) --- As I said, I've got another week of TV left to book. I plan on having a huge main event for the final Thunder before the PPV. With the exception of Team ECK (who still don't know who they are facing at the PPV)...everyone else on the card will meet in a huge 20-man over the top battle royal. 10 WWF vs. 10 WCW, though it is really every man for himself. Should be a great preview and it should generate ratings.</font> |
<font color=goldenrod>INVASION RESULTS
Heat: The night kicked off with WCW Cruiserweight Champion Sugar Shane Helms pinning WWF Lightweight Champion Dean Malenko after hitting the Vertebreaker. ***1/4, 78% Overall <b>WWF: 0, WCW: 1</b> WWF European Championship: Eddie Guerrero cheated his way against champion Chris Benoit to win back the European Championship. Not only did this win bring WCW to a 2-0 lead, but the European Championship was now property of WCW. ****, 87% Overall <b>WWF: 0, WCW: 2</b> WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championships: The Hardy Boyz answered right back with a huge win, bringing a WCW title over to the WWF. Jeff Hardy hit Billy Kidman with a Swanton Bomb for the win, putting WWF on the board in the process. ****1/4, 86% Overall <b>WWF: 1, WCW: 2</b> Champion vs. Champion: Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho squared off against United States Champion Chris Kanyon. It was a back and forth bout, but Jericho eventually got the nod with the Lionsault. And just like that, WWF tied things up. ***1/4, 86% Overall <b>WWF: 2, WCW: 2</b> Team ECK vs. ???: Shane McMahon came out to introduce Team ECK's opponents. For WWF Tag Team Champions Edge and Christian, Shane introduced a set of brothers they'd never faced before: The Steiner Brothers. And to address Angle calling himself the greatest of all time, Shane introduced a man who begged to differ: WOOOOOOOO. So yeah, it was Team ECK vs. The Steiners and Ric Flair (bet everyone thought it'd be the nWo). Flair ended up sticking it to Angle, making him tap out to the Figure Four Leglock. ***, 82% Overall <b>WWF: 2, WCW: 3</b> HHH vs. DDP: The crowd was certainly red-hot for this one, most of them pulling for DDP, the fan favorite. Unfortunately for them it didn't end that way, as Triple H ended up getting the victory for the WWF, knotting things up once again. ***1/4, 88% Overall <b>WWF: 3, WCW: 3</b> WCW Tag Team Championships: The Brothers of Destruction seemed to have Palumbo and O'Haire's number in this one. It seemed all but certain that they'd pick up the victory, until the rest of the Natural Born Thrillers hit the ring and started beating the shit out of them. WWF got the win in this one because of a DQ through interference, but the NBT seem to only care that Palumbo and O'Haire hold onto the belts. The NBT did a number on the Brothers, but WWF took its first lead of the night. ***1/4, 83% Overall <b>WWF: 4, WCW: 3</b> WCW Championship: This was a dream match of sorts, with The Rock taking on Booker T. This was about as evenly matched as a match can get. All of the signature moves were broke out, from the People's Elbow to the Scissor Kick. Ending came when The Rock set up for a Rock Bottom...Booker muscled out, planted him with the Bookend, and 3 seconds later he retained his title. They shook hands after, and the scorecard was tied heading into the final match (what a surprise!) ***1/2, 86% Overall <b>WWF: 4, WCW: 4</b> WWF Championship: This was the dream match everyone was waiting for: Austin vs. Goldberg. The crowd was the hottest it had been all night (picture it being sorta like Rock vs. Hogan.....which hasn't happened yet :shifty: ). The ref eventually got laid out as Goldberg was prepared to nail Austin with a Spear. But then all of a sudden, as Goldberg charged...Hardcore Champion Rhyno snuck into the ring and laid Goldberg out with a Gore. Austin recovered, saw what Rhyno did, and acknowledged him with a thumbs up. But then GORE GORE GORE!!! Austin gets Gored as well. The ref gets up, sees Rhyno standing over both men, and calls for a no contest. ***1/4, 88% Overall Rhyno administers a continued beatdown to both guys as everyone wonders what the hell is going on, except one man: Paul Heyman. Heyman gets up from the commentary table and explains to the world what is happening. He says that he doesn't feel right talking about WWF vs. WCW. He mentions that Rhyno was the last ever ECW Champion...and he felt completely left out of this whole WWF vs. WCW rivalry. Heyman continued by saying there are a lot of WWF AND WCW guys who feel the same way. And the bottom line is, they are all gonna join Heyman and Rhyno in E......C......W. 86% Overall Rating for Invasion 1.92 Buy Rate -------------- So yeah, its now become a 3-way feud...the way it should have been all along. If you'll notice, most of the ECW alumni were absent from this card...and they will all be joining this new entity.</font> |

<font color=goldenrod>Finally got time to book the first Raw after Invasion.
The show naturally started out with ECW. Heyman delivered a promo, explaining to the world that ECW was gonna win this war, and that people better get ready because they were gonna be all over Raw tonight. Nobody was quite sure of what this meant, but Austin came out and brawled with Rhyno...Goldberg came out as well. A three-way brawl ensued, setting up for the likely SummerSlam main event. The Dudleyz took on X-Factor in a 6-man tag team match. Surprisingly, Lance Storm of WCW ran in from the crowd and superkicked Albert, allowing the diminutive Spike to pick up the pin. X-Pac and Justin Credible tended to their downed teammate, until Credible delivered a superkick of his own, knocking X-Pac out. A 5-on-2 beatdown ensued, and soon enough the fans realized that ECW just got 5 more guys. Then later in the same night, Rey Mysterio and Billy Kidman of WCW were invited to a re-match against the Hardyz to see if they could get back the Cruiserweight Tag Titles they had lost the previous night. However, two WWF lightweights, Jerry Lynn and Tajiri, crashed the party. They attacked all 4 men, and ECW had itself 2 more defectors. The final segment of the night saw WWF Owner Vince McMahon and WCW Owner Shane McMahon in the ring. They were both pleading with Heyman, saying that they no longer could trust their locker rooms because they didn't know who was gonna switch. Heyman came out, and informed the McMahons "ECW has plenty more people coming over...and I don't mean just from your locker rooms." As Vince and Shane tried to figure out what the hell that meant: Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, and Sabu emerged from different corners of the crowd. They beat the living shit out of both owners, to the delight of basically everyone. A great markout moment to end the show. ------- So yeah, so far ECW has 13 guys: Heyman, Rhyno, Dreamer, RVD, Sabu, Sandman, Lynn, Tajiri, the Impact Players, and the Dudleyz. There are at least 4 other defections planned, plus 2 more people I'm planning on bringing in.</font> |
Triple H and Kevin Nash are no longer friends. The Kliq is falling apart. :(
Mick Foley and Terry Funk are no longer friends. :( The Rock make some unkind remarks about Triple H on TV. :naughty: Harley Race tore down Hulk Hogan. :naughty: Vampiro buried Mike Awesome. :shifty: |
Well, All-Star Extravaganza was a dud. It's amazing how every time I start to gain some momentum in Public Image, my PPVs are magically poorly-received. Anyway, here are the results.
0.34 buyrate, 4651 gate, $850,000 in PPV revenue, $186,040 ticket sales. Cool. I pulled in a million bucks with that dud. The same night, Survivor Series pulled a 1.77. I managed to tick up two spots in public image, though. I guess it wasn't so bad, but it should have rated SO much higher. |
With just under five weeks to go until Final Battle, no #1 contender has yet been named for new champion Ace Steel's ROH World Title. So ROH Commissioner Jimmy Hart has announced that over the next several weeks, a 32-man tournament will be held to determine Steel's opponent. Here are the first-round matchups.
El Hijo Del Santo vs. Johnny Stamboli Austin Aries vs. Mark Briscoe KENTA vs. Mikey Whipwreck Rocky Romero vs. Chuck Palumbo Sean O'Haire vs. Colt Cabana Shawn Stasiak vs. Eric Young Bryan Danielson vs. Claudio Castagnoli Mark Jindrak vs. Devon Storm Jack Evans vs. Cibernetico Jeff Hardy vs. Jimmy Jacobs Sean Waltman vs. Sonny Siaki Brian Lawler vs. Johnny Jeter Shocker vs. James Maritato Mike Sanders vs. Jay Briscoe Roderick Strong vs. Alex Wright Lance Cade vs. Vampiro |
Messages received 12/1/07:
Osaka Pro announced this year's roster. Ted Turner, Ryan Buffett, Bill Dundee, and Jackie Fargo retired. Sangre Chicana and Fantasma are going to retire at the end of the year. Devon Storm and Rocky Romero have 3 months left under contract. Shocker has a month left under contract. Shark Boy and Austin Aries want a 10% raise. Our sponsorship deal with DreamWorks ended $1,560,000 made in merchandise in November Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and 5 Star Supreme Wrestling went bankrupt. I made money and gained in public image, but Cary Silkin says I'm still just doing an average job. Douchebag. |
 El Hijo Del Santo just checked into rehab. Thinking about stripping Los Luchadores of the belts now.
|
Rather than stripping Los Luchadores, I'm going to replace Hijo as champion. I have an idea of who's going to replace him, but I want to see what this tournament does for this guy's overness first.
Anyway, first round is over, and we're down to the sweet sixteen. With four more victories, one of these men will be #1 contender to Ace Steel's World Title. Austin Aries vs. Adam Pearce (beat Ricky Reyes in a play-in match to replace Hijo) KENTA vs. Rocky Romero Shawn Stasiak vs. Colt Cabana Bryan Danielson vs. Mark Jindrak Cibernetico vs. Jimmy Jacobs Sean Waltman vs. Johnny Jeter Mike Sanders vs. Shocker Alex Wright vs. Vampiro Both Briscoe Brothers as well as Devon Storm and Mikey Whipwreck were all eliminated because they kept interfering in each other's matches. After getting fed up with having four tournament matches screwed up, Jimmy Hart announced that the two teams would face each other at The Final Battle with the winning team becoming #1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles at Unscripted in January. |
The quarterfinals are set.
Austin Aries vs. Rocky Romero Mark Jindrak vs. Colt Cabana Sean Waltman vs. Jimmy Jacobs Mike Sanders vs. Vampiro One of these eight men will face Ace Steel in less than two weeks at Final Battle. Also announced, two more #1 contenders matches (one for the World Title, one for Pure). But participants won't be announced until the conclusion of the tournament. |
Just booked the last week in the WWE, I've fired everyone whose been fired, everyone who has been suspended has been put into rehab. I've decided to make the game a bit more interesting, that they will remain there until they are ready to come out, rather than serving a suspension, the idea being they'll get clean and sort themselves out, I've also sacked any fatties from the roster, because that is an "unhealthy" image (plus I wanted an excuse to sack Vis and Mark Henry).
ECW now has about 8 stars on the roster and Raw isn't looking too healthy, so I cheated slightly to bring Jericho back (as is the rumour). I'm now trying to rebuild whats left of the company without raiding TNA for talent, as this kind of defeats the purpose of the game. I've booked the last week as it was on TV (so Umaga's been suspended, Regal's replaced by Coach, Punk has won the ECW title) so the idea is the WWE are holding crisis talks over this weekend to decide what to do, which is quite possibly what they are doing anyway. I'll post the new Unforgiven card a bit later |
After having a look at what I could actually do, I decided to just stick it out til the end of the month, Unforgiven is a week away, so there's no point changing things around too much before then.
The card is really weak. Oh and Flair is at 33% Morale..... guess he's gonna get a program with Khali
That's how bad things have got |
Jimmy Jacobs broke his leg! He wins his quarterfinal match to earn a match against Vampiro, gets elevated to the main event... and is out for seven months.
I seriously have no luck at all with this game. Anyway, at this point, this is how Final Battle is shaping up (assuming no more injuries/suspensions/rehabs). WORLD TITLE: Ace Steel (c) vs. Colt Cabana PURE TITLE: Bryan Danielson (c) vs. Johnny Jeter TAG TEAM TITLES: Shocker & Mark Jindrak (c) vs. The Coalition #1 CONTENDER MATCH: Austin Aries vs. Rocky Romero vs. Sean Waltman TAG TITLE #1 CONTENDERS: The Briscoe Brothers vs. The Psychopaths Roderick Strong vs. Alex Wright Jeff Hardy vs. Shawn Stasiak vs. Eric Young TEN-MAN TAG: Be-Wild, Jack Evans, Kenta, and Mike Sanders vs. ROH Mafia and Sonny Siaki The final four of the tournament is Romero vs. Cabana and Vampiro vs. Ricky Reyes (replacing Jacobs). Cabana and Vampiro are going to go over, with Cabana winning the finals. |
<font color=goldenrod>I'm really liking the ROH stuff, Loopy. Even though your game seems to hate you at times.
I'm also interested in Sid's game...I was thinking about doing something similar when my PC finally is fixed and comes back from the shop (hopefully within a couple of days). At least, I feel like taking the reigns of current WWE. That's not to say I won't continue my other WWE game if it was saved (though its been about 3 months since I last played). In case the game is lost forever, I planned on having CM Punk win the IC and US Titles in addition to the ECW TV title he already had. Then, he would win the Undisputed Title at Mania (which had been in the plans anyway as he won the Rumble). Punk would have essentially monopolized the titles...thus, the World Heavyweight, ECW, and WWE titles are all brought back (which was also planned as my main eventers had no titles to feud over). Punk wouldd eventually lose the other belts and the Undisputed Title would be scrapped after a little over a year.</font> |
Well, 2007 has come to a close...
TOP 25 WRESTLERS 1) Chris Benoit (WWE) ... uh-oh, lol 2) AJ Styles (TNA) 3) Kurt Angle (WWE) 4) Bryan Danielson (ROH) 5) Rey Mysterio (WWE) 6) Low-Ki (TNA) 7) Chris Jericho (WWE) 8) Colt Cabana (ROH) 9) CM Punk (WWE) 10) Christian Cage (WWE) 11) Juventud Guerrera (TNA) 12) Shawn Michaels (WWE) 13) Shelton Benjamin (WWE) 14) Edge (WWE) 15) Masato Tanaka (WWE) 16) Matt Hardy (WWE) 17) Sonny Siaki (ROH) 18) Randy Orton (WWE) 19) Ron Killings (TNA) 20) Devon Storm (ROH) 21) Steve Corino (TNA/IWA-PR/IWC) 22) Brock Lesnar (IWC) 23) Gregory Helms (WWE) 24) Triple H (WWE) 25) Jerry Lynn (TNA) Other ROH Workers in the Top 100 26) Cibernetico 28) Mikey Whipwreck 33) Ace Steel 37) Roderick Strong 38) Sean Waltman 42) Mark Briscoe 43) Jay Briscoe 53) Shocker 54) El Hijo Del Santo 58) Chris Hero 61) Vampiro 62) KENTA 63) Eric Young 64) James Maritato 67) Rocky Romero 68) Austin Aries 70) Shark Boy 79) Johnny Jeter 87) Claudio Castagnoli Shark Boy is back from his injury. Jinsei Shinzaki is going to retire at the end of January. Eric Young is now a main-eventer and Chuck Palumbo is in the upper midcard. Colt Cabana and Johnny Jeter both won gold at Final Battle by cheating to win their matches. Rocky Romero won the contender match, and will now be facing Cabana at Unscripted. Jeff Hardy was so impressive in the other triple-threat that he will now be facing Jeter for the Pure Title. Jindrak and Shocker retained the Tag Team Titles and now must defend them against The Briscoe Brothers. I'm kicking around the idea for a new stable led by Eric Young consisting of Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, and Shark Boy. The name... Total Non-Stop Assholes. |
Fucking hell Siaki that high?
I've just called him up and shoved him on ECW, he's put had a couple of decent matches so far, one with Punk the other teaming with Elijah Burke against Punk and Colt Cabana. Will have to push him me thinks. |
<font color=goldenrod>Siaki is the man...he's one of my most over workers in my other EWR game.
Anyway, I'm thinking about starting a new game and hopefully transporting it over once I get my comp back up and running...I've got some ideas but first off does anyone have the latest EWR roster/stat updates?</font> |
<font color=goldenrod>OK nevermind, found them.
Went into the editor and took Eugene and Cryme Tyme off the WWE roster. I'm gonna start in September and book the first week of shows as they were in real life, and then after that, the suspended people won't be used. I'm gonna try to keep things realistic in the sense that I won't fire people that WWE wouldn't fire and I will go through with real life planned programs along with creating my own (which, sadly, means I WILL go through with Henry/Taker, BDV/Taker, Khali/Taker)</font> :( |
I've just sacked a few people who probably wouldn't be sacked as a "cost-cutting" measure.
|
I just signed two new workers. Vito LoGrasso (a.k.a. Big Vito a.k.a. Skull Von Krush a.k.a. Vito The Cross-Dresser) will be joining the ROH Mafia.
And the other signing... ...wait for it... FINLAY!!! I'm thinking about having Jeter try to recruit him for The Heavies, but have him turn them down, establishing a new top face. |
Damn, I would've loved to have got Finlay on the old TNA game I was doing.

I've also just realised I've used Jeff Hardy twice so he'll be replaced in the Survivor Series match by....Val Venis. Ok, I think I know my dark match.
