Always assumed it's because they wanted the leaders of nWo Hollywood, the Wolfpac, the Flock, and then you had Goldberg who was the most over WCW guy.

Revenge is still my favorite wrestling game ever.

Only real negative I have about Revenge is finishers not being as devastating in terms of damage and being easier to kick out compared to AKI's later WWF games.

More of an issue for short matches or trying to speed run through Championship mode.

Lol yeah when Ahmed was Moadib he did insane shit like that.

He really doesn't get talked about in terms of wasted talent. He was mega over when he first debuted in the WWF, but bad luck with injuries and laziness got in the way.

I remember being a huge mark as a kid for Ahmed. Thought he was gonna be a star.

How is Charlotte Flair doing as NXT Women's Champion? Subconsciously I can't help but compare such reigns to Cena's United States title reign.

Remember when they referred to the women's champion as the NXT Champion for a short period of time?

So far her reign feels like almost every other one she's had so far in WWE.

No real direction and came at the cost of knee capping all the momentum and star rise Rhea gained from her Baszler feud.

Per Tony Khan, all wrestlers and staff present at tonight's tapings including himself were tested for coronavirus prior to entering the building and everybody tested negative.

So while it's nice that there won't be any potentially sick workers performing...that opens up the next criticism which is that they were able to rapidly test that many people in a short period of time despite a national test shortage.

This cannot be stated enough. Nearly as bad as the bungling of Asuka from NXT to main roster.

If it does happen, just more proof NXT can only really beat AEW by dipping even more into the TakeOver well and not because their weekly shows have been built up strong on their own.

Like the Dream vs. Balor feud pretty much got quickly canned in order to rush back to the Dream vs. Cole feud because NXT needs more than 1 Takeover-quality match on a show to sway the needle these days.

Yeah, I can't really get behind that booking decision.

While Charlotte is a top tier performer, she's always booked and treated like such a spoiled brat (which makes her unlikeable to an extent). If the dirtsheets were to be believed, she won this year's rumble match because she was promised a win at last year's event. That comes across as cringeworthy considering she did end up in the main event of last year's WrestleMania. All of these decisions do take some luster off of her accomplishments.

Apparently Maryland's State Athletic Commission recently fined AEW $10k for the Unsanctioned match between Moxley and Omega at Full Gear.

The former WCW announcer guy who snitched on them has been gloating about it despite everyone else mocking him about it. Somehow he thinks AEW getting fined is a bigger black eye to wrestling than all the shit WWE has pulled recently.
