She’s 100% correct

How to get over with AEW fans.
Step 1: WWE IS BAD! That's it, legit all it takes. 100% |
Hell, I’m not even an AEW fan and that’s an easy way to get over with me.

I'm sure there will be some people that will have unpleasant things to say about AEW once they're gone. JR comes to mind immediately. |
XRod being an imbecile? I am SHOCKED!

Quote:
100% this. Very simple to understand. |
Dynamite is exponentially more entertaining than Raw. One seems to have linear progression while the other is just filling in tv time.

If she had such a problem with WWE why would she work there for so long. The narrative seems to change as time passes and she doesnt land her next job. Went from her saying how much she loved working there and thanking everyone, then went back for a one off appearance, to lets start talking more and more about how WWE bad, AEW good. It is the standard progression to get over with AEW. Its not that she is even wrong, its that the take is cliche. |
Quote:
Why did she stay so long? Was there any other game in town at the time? If so, I'm sure they weren't paying her #WWEMoney. Seems like a smart life choice to "toe the line" and continue to get paid rather than air grievances and get fired, which the "E" has a history of doing. I only speak from personal experiences in my life though. Stomaching a shit job while looking for another so I don't miss pay. I had to work with one of the worst people I've ever met in my life, and he was a C-level, so any "reporting" would have ended up with ME losing my job. |
0 issue with that Drave.
In this situation though, a former WWE employee disparaging WWE while also praising AEW, is so standard and unoriginal that it is practically a prerequisite to get the admiration of the fanbase. |

Or maybe you hyperfocus on that point because reasons?
Remove the "branding" and replace it with generic words. "I wasn't happy at my former workplace now that I've been to a new place and see how things can be. I like this workplace better than my old one." It's a rather normal thing that people outside of the wrestling world experience daily. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Whatever floats your boat |
Xrod just needs to constantly complain about anything aew because he’s a sad and bored little man, and doing the anti aew shtick and plugging into seemingly every thread he’s in gives him life, apparently. Hence why the mute button is a wonderful thing.

Instead of mocking people for liking AEW's work environment, you should take aim at wwe for creating one that is seemingly miserable to be a part of. |
Again, no problem with the message itself, but like Drave just said, it will keep happening.
I initially wrote "of course she said that", because its what they all say. At this point how is it even news? Its not breaking some secret inside information. There is no legitimate reason to go out of their way to say that other than to personally gain favor with AEW. That has nothing to do with Anti AEW no matter what people defending AEW say. |

Quote:
So is it the fact that she stated her opinion or that it was considered "news" by some random twitter "reporter"? |
Quote:
I literally said nothing bad about AEW, just that a former WWE employee talking bad about WWE while praising AEW is S.O.P. Pointing out DAILY that you have somebody muted makes you feel good somehow, which I can only guess because why else would you come here just to make posts about it? That is the markings of a sad and bored little man. |

I mean he's not wrong. Literally everyone on their roster has been mismanaged to some degree. Even Cody was stuck in that dreadful feud with the factory for a while.

I don't think Vince even viewed WCW as competition, he viewed Ted Turner as competition. He has no reason to view Shahid Khan as competition. I do agree with Bix if I was an employee it'd probably rub me the wrong way to indifferently joke about firing people but I also think that's just Vince. He would have said something like that 40 years ago too. It's weird but that's Vinny Mac. |
Would have to hear his tone when he said it, but sounds like he is trying to "burn" AEW saying maybe they can give them more talent because their talent is lacking or w/e

You can barely hear him bc Vince never turns his mic up

And no that argument does not apply in most cases. If I work at Deloitte and leave, I am not going to try and get a job at Ernst & Young by constantly bashing Deloitte. The logical deduction would be that Ernst & Young would not hire me for being unprofessional. Does it work for potential AEW employment? The obvious answer is yes, which is why they all do it. They do it to stroke the ego of their potential new boss, and they do it to placate to the fanbase. Its neither good or bad, its just the normal process. |
Also, I would like to point out that only Fan got the joke part, and he came back with a great joke as well. There really wasnt anything to it beyond that.

I am disappointed that I lost my last job, and I hate my current job. But I'm not gonna tell my future employer that my current job sucks. They'll think I'm a toxic person. |
It's all just an assumption. They say it because it's true, and because there's an audience for it. I personally doubt that audience is Tony khan, because he's the biggest mark in the industry. It's not necessary to gain favor through these type of comments because they already do it by simply existing.
Also, here's the whole quote, rather than a shitty one sentence summary. Quote:

The idea that Renee, who seems to be universally beloved, needs to gain favor, is hilarious.
