Batista had his movie My Spy delayed until 4/17, I'm supposing so they can add the phrase "wwe hall of Famer Batista " to the marketing. Either that or it just plain sucks

At this point, WWE probably should just call off this year's Axxess since the city and/or state officials are likely going to force their hand over it. NBA being public recently about the idea of playing games with no fans and this year's SXSW concert getting cancelled at the last minute isn't helping WWE's case for Mania week. WWE sending out that statement of them being unwilling to change their Mania plans was such a huge blunder on their part. |
I haven't been here in forever. Just thought I would say hello to everyone.

I'm sure the wrestlers won't lose sleep over greasy neckbeards not being able to touch them.

Seems WWE caused another problem for their UK and European affiliates this weekend.
This time it involved them pressuring wXw to not book a certain indie star (David Starr) anymore due to not liking the guy and his outspokenness in recent months towards the industry and WWE. Also it turns out WWE decided to help out wXw after screwing them out of Lio Rush by having one of their NXT UK guys (Alexander Wolfe) win wXw's midcard title outta nowhere. The reception online to that wasn't as positive as WWE and wXw probably had hoped. |

Not counting Mania, next couple months in WWE is going to be very interesting.
According to the Observer, Vince has been losing confidence in Triple H running the company as his potential successor. |

And I thought Triple H was supposed to be the one to save the company when Vince steps away...…..or kicks it...……….or the board removes him...…………...one of those. |

Need an AEW cartoon Saturday morning's on cartoon network (or better yet late on Adult Swim) |
Rumor going around the net is WWE is considering holding Mania 36 at either the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida or at Madison Square Garden if they can't hold it at Raymond James Stadium or in Florida.
Also based on recent tweets from GCW's Brett Lauderdale, things are starting to look grim for indies being able to hold events during Mania weekend. |
Also seems the rumor of Vince losing confidence in Triple H is true since he lost his creative duties as part of his new corporate position in the company.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Paul Levesque has a new corporate title: Executive Vice President, Global Talent Strategy & Development <br><br>WWE's proxy statement: <a href="https://t.co/NYmZtzrGPB">https://t.co/NYmZtzrGPB</a> <a href="https://t.co/3DwFVFd8lv">pic.twitter.com/3DwFVFd8lv</a></p>— Wrestlenomics (@wrestlenomics) <a href="https://twitter.com/wrestlenomics/status/1237367233493504001?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 10, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
“Mr. Levesque plays an integral role in the Company’s creative process...”
|
NXT for sure but its being assumed he lost main roster creative power which was pretty limited to begin with and probably dropped some more after Heyman and Prichard became Executive Directors.
Outside of NXT, he doesn't really have a creative presence on NXT UK and 205 Live and both of those are his brands. |

Might as well say he spends his day shovelling rocking horse shit. |
Fate of WrestleMania 36 in Tampa might be decided as early as this Thursday.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">.<a href="https://twitter.com/CityofTampa?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@CityofTampa</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/JaneCastor?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@JaneCastor</a> will meet on Thursday to discuss canceling or postponing "major" events due to <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Coronavirus?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Coronavirus</a>. Obviously they are gonna go to Saudi Arabia if they have to cancel right?

If they DID cancel -- my guess is Mania would take place at the stadium without a crowd, the arena raw/sd are in, minus a crowd or at the performance center using wrestlers as the audience. |
I'd also assume all the other pro wrestling outfits that are congregating down in Tampa for various shows during 'Mania weekend would also cancel.
|
They should postpone the show 2 months and come up with a better card for the show in may
|
Nia Jax should challenge Bayley in a Iron Woman match

The rumor mentioning MSG as an option pretty much would be WWE replacing their upcoming house show at the venue with Mania's card instead. Only problem is the MSG show is on March 22nd so that leaves very little time left for WWE to finish the Mania build. |
if MSG hosted Mania I demand the side entrance....
|
I can't picture them moving it to MSG tbh, it would have too many angry fans who had made plans to go to Florida
|
Worst - case scenario:
WM at Performance Center with nxt rasslers acting as the audience Medium - case scenario: WM at either Tampa stadium or arena, minus crowd, but full on pyro and sets Best - case scenario: Tampa doesn't cancel Mania and gets a LOT of $$$ from hosting it like other cities |
Thought just hit me --- Mania is largely a fly-in crowd most years -- from all over the world. That might be a big factor if Tampa says "No" to the event.
If they do I expect WWE to move it to the performance center and use nxt talent as the audience. |

Lol if they reschedule they'll probably lose Cenas match since he'll be filming a movie or something
|
Do you really think for two seconds that Vince is going to move Wrestlemania because of this.
|
He'll only move Mania if Tampa/Florida shut down all major events.

Oops, I didn't read up high enough to see Smeats tweet
