I mean, I'm thinking of giving it a chance, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if I just "nope" it right back off my PS4 out of boredom before I see the story wraps.

I'd also heard tell that one of the voice actors' performances is pretty flat, but like I said, I suppose I can give it at least a fair chance.

Seems more like a tease for another WWE game, though it was a very specific mention. The gameplay engine of the WWE series has improved to a degree since HCTP, as well as all the Create-A additions. Given the music and wrestler contractual nightmare, I can't see why or how they'd remake that game.

Apparently Warner Bros once had plans for a fifth Batman game to be made for the Arkham series.

The project was codenamed "Project Sabbath" and would have featured Bruce Wayne's son, Damian Wayne, as the lead character.

Warner Bros' Montreal studio, developer of Batman: Arkham Origins, was working on the game prior to its cancellation.

The leaked images - branded "Project Sabbath" - reveal two shots of the glowering metropolis that is Gotham City, as well as several villain designs.

On display in this rogue's gallery that never was is an older and more opulent looking Two-Face, a punky Poison Ivy (somewhat raising questions as to where this entry would fit in the Arkham timeline), a very creepy, elderly White Rabbit, and a sophisticated and badass female version of Black Mask. Also on show are a plain clothes Dick Grayson and, of all characters, Gorilla Grodd. The 4chan post also claims that The Penguin and the BatBike were to be featured, along with a system similar to Shadow of Mordor's "nemesis" mechanic.

The original poster goes as far as to state that WB Montreal was also hard at work on a Suicide Squad title, which makes sense given Arkham Origins' post-credit sequence.

Capcom recently revealed several more new details for their upcoming Resident Evil game.

The game is being co-developed with Neobards Entertainment, runs on the RE Engine, and is similar to Dead by Daylight and Friday the 13th: The Game in terms of gameplay concept.

Capcom will be holding a closed beta from October 4-7 and signups are currently open till September 18th. Only requirement is to be either a member of Xbox Insider Program or RE Ambassador.

If you're unfamiliar with the asymmetrical survival-horror genre, it's something that has picked up steam over the past few years thanks to the expansion of streamers. These games -- which included titles like Dead by Daylight, Friday the 13th: The Game, and Last Year: The Nightmare -- require a handful of players to utilize their character's skills to escape some fortified location before time runs out.

In addition to the co-op team, there is one other player who controls the villain of the game, stalking players and gruesomely murdering them. It's a genre that has come a long way since Evolve tried and failed to kickstart it back in 2015. Project Resistance looks to be putting its own spin on the formula with the Mastermind tracking players with the use of CCTV in addition to attacking them directly through zombies or the Tyrant.

The first hint from the Batman: Arkham Origins developer came this weekend on "Batman Day", when the studio published an image of the bat-signal projected on the side of a Gotham City skyscraper. Said image flickers between several symbols, one of which resembles the mask worn by Court of Owls assassin William Cobb. While this initial tweet set tongues wagging, the mystery has deepened with a second tweet - posted within the last half-hour - that displays several mysterious symbols alongside a simple message "Capture the Knight".

The Court of Owls - in DC Comics lore - are an underworld criminal syndicate, with roots stretching back to the earliest days of Gotham City. In the 2011 arc, this dormant society of assassins (known as "Talons") come out of hiding to embark upon an all-out assault on Batman, with aims of destroying his legend and restoring themselves as both the blood veins and rulers of Gotham.
