Supposedly the reason for WWE and NXT's recent string of injuries and people getting busted more often is due to some dumb edict WWE management passed a while ago where they wanted talent to be a lot more stiffer against each other during matches.

Also seems this might have caused a spike in concussions and concussion-like symptoms to happen in NXT as a result.

Observer's Bryan Alvarez reported that this edict was passed well before AEW started their weekly tv series and likely not as a reaction to anything from AEW.

LOL I watched the first episode of the Ruthless Aggression series after Takeover and near the end they retconned the WWE name change as being a genius rebranding by Vince instead of losing a lawsuit against the World Wildlife Fund.

There was some convenient WWE style history telling in the Ruthless Aggression doc for sure but overall I liked it especially the last 4 or 5 seconds. Makes me want to watch ep 2.

Apparently WWE still doesn't actually care that much about their affiliate promotions in the UK.

Once again they managed to hurt PROGRESS Wrestling on purpose since the date for the next NXT UK Takeover is happening on the same day PROGRESS is running a show.

Also probably going to cause talent issues again for PROGRESS depending on who they had plans for their show and any last minute changes WWE makes with their NXT UK Takeover plans.

I'm pretty high and came up with this gimmick.

They should give a really ugly wrestler a Heart Throb gimmick, but not as a goof but play it off like the guy is convinced he's gorgeous. Carry a mirror to the ring, act like he's too attractive for the other women in the company. It'd be amazing.

Not as great as my other gimmick idea . A deaf wrestler gimmick who gets taken corrupted by a group other heels, but he doesn't know he's a heel since he can't hear the crowd booing.

I think somebody needs to do Rocky 3 in wrestling. A familiar long term Champion is absolutely battered by a beast-mode Goldberg style challenger. Then the Champ has to completely change style to win the belt back after months of intense training.
The hero's manager or trainer would have to die though.

Found this really cool youtube channel called "The WCW Feed". It has a bunch of sound checks and pre show matches taped for the following week Thunder with no commentary. It's really cool. You hear stuff like Tony and Heenan rehearsals, the guys making fun of other WCW employees. Really awesome stuff. I absolutely love stuff like this.
