Apparently NXT UK managed to recently outdraw NXT in terms of attendance despite it being just as ignored as 205 Live is by WWE.

Full Sail usually holds somewhere around 400 for tapings while NXT UK's recent set of tapings drew around 600 according to this week's Observer Newsletter.

Neidhardt tapped very quietly and quickly while in a bad angle, he ref said ring the bell, nobody did and then he just starts saying "ring the bell" again.

Neidhardt did tap though.

Seanny One Ball 02-07-2020 11:22 AM

Yeah at 7:08 he taps but the ref fucks it up

RP 02-07-2020 11:44 AM

Wow, I thought he and Bryan Adams were both dead.

Seems Triple H's promise of pay raises for all of NXT's talent due to the money coming in from USA Network ended up being a lie. Some of the bigger names got a bump in pay but not everyone if Taynara Conti's departure is any indication.

Brazilian wrestling outlet WrestleBR posted a story that she refused to work the women's battle royal on January 15th edition of NXT and was out after that. They later confirmed she is still under contract.

Conti (real name Taynara Melo de Carvalho) no longer has any references to WWE or NXT in her Twitter bio other than her actual handle.

She's notable for being the first person to have a NXT tv segment that outdrew AEW's Dynamite in terms of viewership and even had it become a wrestling meme for a while.

So WWE spent the whole week hyping Goldberg’s appearance on Smackdown this week and his appearance just ended up him being “live, via satellite” for like 30 seconds. That’s incredible.

Once you’re a carny, you’re a carny 4 life.

good they let bray do most the talking

Droford 02-08-2020 12:04 PM

The worst part was Bray interrupted hima minute in with his acceptance of the challenge in a clearly pretape segment meaning he knew what Goldberg was going to say live ahead of time.

Its bad enough when it happens with the wrestler in the ring but it's even dumber this way

According to Fightful, seems not everyone in NXT was fond of the new money and/or terms being offered by WWE for new deals. Also not everyone was offered new money which was something Squared Circle Sirens mentioned a while ago in regards to the backstage mood at NXT not being in high spirits.

Taynara Conti being among those who were unhappy leading to her recent departure.

Being speculated everyone that's been given a push or tv time signed the new deals and people who had their tv time cut or were suddenly pulled from tv did not.

According to Meltzer, no one got a raise, talent was unhappy and Vince was going to be more hands-on. The stories about NXT are skewered to make them appear as heels.
