Nah, I'm thinking spec-ops version as well, with elements of the 90's version. It's also probably the best shot at seeing a proper Deadpool, because he may not get his own movie anytime soon.

Really enjoying The Ultimate universe now. I get that it's a different universe, so I don't mind the changes to characters, heck I even like Samuel L. Fury.

What I don't like is Nick Fury Jr. in 616. That's just a lame ass attempt to introduce Samuel Jackson to mainstream universe.

Yeah that is really awful, and completely unneeded.

I've been watching Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes on and off for the past couple of weeks and honestly loving how they're Nick Fury started off as just Nick Fury who happens to be black and now...he's Sam Jackson.

Kinda a good development.

That was fun, but I can see why the Deadpool movie didn't get made. Superhero movies are ridiculously expensive to make, and an R-rating would cut off a huge portion of the audience that a PG-13 movie would otherwise get.

Plus, IMO Deadpool gets really annoying, really fast if you're not into "LOL totally random!" humor. Maybe I'm just lame, but I don't think I'd be able to watch two hours of that.

Nerf it down to PG13, keep the pop culture gags, downplay violence and language, 4th wall breaking is non-negotiable. It would be a fucking hit. What you want is more kids to be able to see this. Deadpool can play all kinds of demographics.

So I'm reading this Divided We Fall storyline and there's this black Spiderman kid. He just got the webshooters from Aunt May which kinda baffles me (he's been learning how to swing, too). This is like a year after his first appearance so did Miles Morales go for that long without shooting webs?

Seems like phase four will be from 2018 Hulk movie to 2021 with Avengers 4. Looking at some of the titles name it sounds like shit is kicking off.
