I would like to see Sin Cara announce his retirement and formally bequeath the character to someone else, only to then immediately turn on that guy and become Hunico again.
|
Hunico and Camacho had potential. I wish they would’ve tried to do more with them.
|
Wait a tick, Camacho is actually Tongan? And he’s Haku’s son? And he’s currently IWGP tag team champion? What the fuck

<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> If I had to guess, they probably will do that either right after All Out or during their Christmas week break. Right after All Out would make sense since that is meant to be their version of WrestleMania and WWE used to treat Mania as the big finale for the current season's major storylines. Christmas break would probably be better since that is their built-in rest break from wrestling. |
Anyone else here follow Sammy Guevera's YT channel??
|
Oh damn I never thought of that. If they do an annual reset... fuck that changes everything and adds so much.
|
I figured that they pretty much had to be doing a reset every year or two
|
Nick Jackson offered a follow up on when the record resets will likely happen.

wins in december are meaningless then
|
yep

same as WWE

Assuming going forward that November will always have the last PPV of the year, December then acts like a playoffs or late season push where people jockey around to improve their rankings prior to the start of the next season. |

I can understand why talent want out, but I also understand why WWE doesn’t want to set a precedent and let some talent go and keep others. They should at least grant guys like Sin Cara and Luke Harper conditional releases though. Or let them work other places that aren’t AEW.

https://rajah.com/node/colons-report...ras-status-wwe Best I can quickly find elsewhere is WrestlingInc reported a few days ago of them continuing their stay in World Wrestling Council and wrestling in singles action later this month over there. https://www.wrestlinginc.com/news/2019/11/primo-662048/ Savio Vega did start some rumors recently of them leaving soon and Carlito being in talks with WWE for a return. |
In what could be the strangest twist to happen in recent times with WWE's indie signings, Kris Statlander wrestled for AEW last night despite supposedly being recently signed to WWE.
If WWE actually dropped her contract, that might be the first time its happened since they started to clamp down on talent leaking their signings before WWE made the official announcement. Would explain why Squared Circle Sirens apologized for leaking the news since it might have legit cost her the job and not just simply be a bluff from the company. |

With the Rock confirming he's starring in the upcoming Black Adam film, wonder what are the odds of him showing up on an episode of AEW Dynamite in the future to help promote the film.
AEW, TNT, and Warner Bros have worked together before to help promote DC comics stuff and AEW has used their Dynamite show to help promote films (Jay & Silent Bob reboot) and tv shows (Rick & Morty). Probably would result in the mother of all meltdowns and furious reaction from Vince if that happened. |
