If you ever meet Teddy Long he'll tell you Ric Flair called him the n-word.
It's the first thing he says after you say "Hi Teddy".

Man that looks amazing. Are all of the shows they run this big or is it like a PPV?

I've seen clips and matches here and there. This shit looks top notch. It's amazing how much quality wrestling is out there.

Wow, just read the opening segment of SD from the tapings in the UK:

SPOILER: show

— The show opens with King Corbin cutting a promo. He shows an edited version of Roman Reigns’ titantron, with his dog logo barking like a Chihuahua. Corbin calls out Reigns with some childish insults but it doesn’t work.

Not sure. That building and atmosphere seems sweet though...

Just saw that video cause Meltzer was talking about how the David Starr vs. Jordan Devlin match was one of the best matches he's seen

Based on the spoilers from the UK, tonight's Smackdown looks pretty bad but not as terrible as RAW is going to be.

The women's tag results might be the worst considering what happened last week.

Same for
SPOILER: show
NXT UK's invasion being a big dud compared to regular NXT's invasion the week prior

A guy with special needs did that when I was just about to bowl and I nearly tripped as I let go off the ball.

They shouldn't let them use the real balls. It's madness.

Either WWE or Cole himself got tried of all the ridicule over his exaggerated listed height since its been a running gag online ever since he signed with WWE. They had him listed at around 6 feet tall but he's actually smaller by a noticeable amount. Like they have Roderick Strong listed as being 2 inches shorter than him despite Strong being taller than Cole whenever those two are standing next to each other.

Anytime I see him, or a lot of guys in recent years who surprised be by showing up in NXT, I keep imagining a quote somebody doing a Vince impression (I believe it was Paul Heyman) saying "... but he's just so tinyyyyy!" - and then I wonder how quickly they would be buried after a call up because of it. Guys like Gargano and Dunne and all of UE - in spite of their skill and charisma and exactly how fucking over they are for their own reasons - don't really fit that whole "airport" test of his.

I feel like I have to say I'm not really shitting on Cole here for it. Not his fault he didn't grow another half foot taller to make all of this a non-issue. It's also one of the reasons why I dislike the concept of their current Cruiserweight title. If a majority of wrestlers in this era are that size, and everyone does flips and dives and shit anymore, what is the point of pigeonholing some particular people as "cruiserweights" and not others?

Also doesn't help that a lot of NXT's big stars are around a similar weight to the Cruiser division. If WWE went by their old lightweight system, Cole would be considered as a cruiserweight and stuck on 205 Live instead of being given as big of a spotlight he has received in NXT.

Same for someone like Finn Balor who would be one under the current weight system.

Oh, I saw this in WWE2k20 and thought it was a glitch. Turns out they just accurately programmed this move in the game.

That's what I meant... there are so many guys they have now, especially being back on their "toy collecting" shit, but how many of them are being promised the moon only to be vetoed by Vince no matter how much they may have going for them otherwise? It took them forever to actually follow through with Daniel Bryan. Shinsuke Nakamura has been IWGP champ more times than AJ Styles, and we were all shocked that WWE pushed his little ass as an exception to the rule (feud with James Ellsworth notwithstanding), in spite of already knowing he was world champ almost everywhere he's been. If Sami Zayn got the same treatment on the main roster that he did in NXT, he'd likely be considered a main-event gatekeeper by now.

It's like the opposite of when Shane Helms was the Crusierweight Champion without a cruiserweight division. Now, most of the combined roster would technically fit the bill, but most of them have more to offer than the specticle spot-monkey purple belt.

lol jesus christ! How didn't Abdullah break his neck.

Seanny One Ball 11-12-2019 01:08 PM

You can see Abdullah pull his right arm from round the neck and just fall on top of the other guy. His arm protected his neck. I'm amazed he didn't dislocate his shoulder or destroy his rotator cuff.

His bump there is Flair-esque for an incredibly fat man.

Same tits as old Flair though.

It's Dick Murdoch. His finisher was a brain buster so I'm guessing this was a bad idea gone bad lol

Seanny One Ball 11-12-2019 02:00 PM

I was going to ask who it was, no way would I have guessed Murdoch.
Abdullah is one of my least favourite "legends" because I have never seen him in a good match.

Seanny One Ball 11-12-2019 02:00 PM

Also a notorious liar

Seanny One Ball 11-12-2019 02:02 PM

And when I say "Flair-esque" I specifically mean he lands on completely the wrong part of his body yet avoids paralysis.
