Big Japan is a front for the Yakuza and has been for its entire life. Not sure what WWE would do with all the deathmatch stuff if they take over, given it is a deathmatch promotion.

Alvarez and Meltzer were discussing during their review of RAW where this week's episode and WWE in general ranks compared to WCW. They came to agreement that current WWE is around late '98 WCW in terms of overall quality.

Nowhere bad enough to be hitting legendary WCW 2000 levels of awfulness but inching closer to the Jan. 4, 1999 point of no return.

According to the Observer, WWE's big pitch to Stardom for a potential deal was them guaranteeing a spot in their Hall of Fame for Stardom's boss.

Besides not being interested, Stardom also found out WWE doesn't have any real plans for NXT Japan in regards to who's running the brand or the status of talent for work and potential restrictions.

WWE probably thought their name value alone would have made big name and notable Japanese companies flock to NXT Japan considering that was the tactic used for the US and UK/Europe.

He’s wrestled one dark match in three weeks of Dynamite, and that dark match was after the show and was the de-facto main event for the live audience. He also appeared on that show to continue building his feud with Moxley which is a major program heading into the next PPV.

When Ryan Ward burned out as the head writer of Smackdown, and Ed Koskey from Raw was moved over, a lot of people expected Bischoff to be the next casualty.

For those that watch MLW's weekly Fusion show on Youtube, MLW announced they very likely will be leaving the platform soon.

Main issue is them not being able to bring in enough money from Youtube ever since Youtube lowered the ad rate payout for wrestling content a couple years ago. Seems Youtube made other changes recently that have also negatively affected MLW.
