Don't know if this will be anyone's bag but I'm looking to take a break from the campaign and do some multiplayer on Halo Infinite this morning; probably until about noon. Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries
Fun as hell. I just wish the AI teammates were consistently smart. They have their moments, but at times when I really needed them to step up, they're clueless. |
Played Among Us for the first time with Heisenberg and friends. Holy shit that game is a lot of fun.

Ya, that's unfortunate. Fucking LOVED the old Battlefields, probably the most fun I've ever had with a FPS. Will research and buy a couple other games before the sale is up.

100% And Battlefield V is still fucking great! I still go back to playing it more so than 2042 so far. Most BF games launch with a host of issues, and this is no exception.
They have a long road ahead of them to get it to a "good place". |
I'm mostly annoyed at Portal mode. They advertised it as a 100% customizable "anything from previous battlefield games" type deals. It is still rather restricted, sadly.
Moreover, the gunplay is trash and they should have kept the fluidity of movement from BF V They need to fix: * In-game voice chat (how the FUCK is this NOT in the game??) * More environmental destruction!!! (this is a big one. Tell me why a FUCKING FLAGPOLE STOPS MY TANK!!) ugh * Bring back the class system or at least an option to have a game mode with the OG classes. |

For reasons unknown to me, I've started playing Super Mario 64 on the Switch.

Its actually not a lack of friction. Mario actually runs extremely fast. They actually slow the animation down to make it easier to control him. What you are seeing isnt a lack of friction, but mario losing traction and drifting when he turns or tries to stop. The reason for his awkward take off is basically that he is spinning out before he catches traction.
