They easily could have done way better. After Seth hits the Fiend with the sledgehammer, you could have had Seth go for the cover. Fiend kicks out at one. Fiend then does everything he did after the bell rang but then the lights go out and he’s gone, leaving Seth bleeding in the ring but the Fiend is gone

This was probably the lesser of evils considering there should have been no way Bray won the belt BUT he also couldnt really afford to lose the match either. They got enamored with the concept of locking Seth in the HIAC with Bray as the fiend but didnt think it through completely.

Potential concern: if/when FOX eventually pushes Vince over bad ratings, he'll just resort to the same shit he did with USA. "OK, how about I bring back some legends!" "What about a Wild Card rule?"

It's just gonna keep being the same Band-Aid shit.

So wwe last night pretty much made the case that the fiend was unbeatable having taken over a dozen finishers, chair shots etc. Wonder if they'll remember that in a few months time, kinda doubting it.

Wouldn't surprise me, and this is the same hypocritical old fart that goes on about "sending the fans home happy" when he wants to sell an angle to someone.
