Frank Francisco got suspended for the rest of the season when he threw that chair into the crowd, but it wound up only being like 20 games. Wonder if he did it in April...

Ermaximus 04-12-2013 07:40 PM

Can't wait to watch Hudson vs. Strasburg tomorrow.

Makes NO sense at all. Hope Quentin is suspended 50 games. This Greinke injury sucks ass, big hit to our rotation.

The count, the inning, the games don't really matter yet. Stupid arguement to keep reading from people. I think it's funny that Greinke throws down his glove and tries to shoulder check Quentin. Greinke's reaction tells me he meant to pitch him inside and didn't care if he hit him. It's game what...?? 8 of the season, so what if it's a 3-2 count, like I said already this game doesn't matter yet. It's all about posturing for later in the season. Besides, if Greinke doesn't break, no one has anything to say. He needs to drink more milk.

Conflicting sources but A-Rod might have been the player who paid to get his medical records removed from the Florida clinic.

MLB can't completely confirm nor deny it was him since they are lacking the physical evidence at the moment.

Quote:

MIAMI -- Sources familiar with MLB's investigation into a Miami-area drug clinic say MLB investigators have been told that Alex Rodriguez paid a former clinic employee to prevent the release of potentially damaging documents.

Those same sources say that while MLB investigators find the Rodriguez information credible, the investigators have no physical evidence to connect the New York Yankees' star to payments.

The New York Times reported Friday that MLB investigators had evidence that Rodriguez bought documents from a Biogenesis employee, but a source close to MLB's investigation said that was not correct.

If MLB can acquire physical evidence or convince witnesses to give sworn statements, Rodriguez could not only face suspension from Major League Baseball, but possible criminal charges.

How does the ordering work for play numbers?

1 = pitcher, 2 = catcher, 3-6 = 1b to 3B, 7-9 = RF to LF ?

Emperor Smeat 04-13-2013 01:45 AM

I was thinking it was 5 for SS and 6 for 3B but guess they swap it around. Same for RF, CF, and LF that they'd follow going from right to left like on the infield.

Wondering if he was just a crazy fan or if it was one of the bar owners trying to creep someone out.

Maybe it was the same guy that did this:

road doggy dogg 04-13-2013 11:54 AM

I always love seeing a good triple play.

I wish my work schedule didn't make me want to fall asleep by 11 every night. Saw the first bit of Detroit/Oakland but was out by the 4th inning. Read that their bullpen blew it yet again. It's like last year all over again. It's almost to the point where I'm not 100% totally dreading Valverde coming up. I hate baseball as well.

Jose Reyes injury almost right on schedule.

I've tried to be a Terry Collins supporter, but it's so hard to sometimes. The Mets scored 16 runs last night, so naturally he's running a completely different lineup out there today.

Love the wink Junior Griffey gives after hitting the homer. Sweet Lou brings in Randy Johnson on in relief. Awesome.

:D 2-1 extra innings win over the Rays. Tough game since Price was pitching but Lester was just as good.

He was the same guy that threw the goat head out on the statue last year. he also sent Ben a goat head in the mail which caused FOX Sports Radio to ban anyone sending anyone anything.

Before that he sent him the beer

Quote:

Ben Maller's Twitter pic (@benmaller) [FOLLOW] Doc Mike from Chicago sent me bloody billy goat beer, the beer for losers! http://t.co/RQxog177 - 2011-10-08 09:33:38
before that there was this:

Quote:

Doc Mike banned from calling radio shows?
Doc Mike, a regular radio caller from Chicago, who would often rant about problems the Cubs and Bears are having, has been banned for two years from calling Ben Maller's Fox Sports Radio program or any other radio show, according to BenMaller.com moles.
Mike Witort, 61, aka "Doc Mike" pleaded guilty in the state of Illinois to one count of attempting to practice medicine without a license, a misdemeanor, according to the Chicago Tribune.
A Cook County Judge sentenced Doc Mike to two years of probation that includes a ban on calling radio shows and running a web site.
Witort told Ben Maller he served 44-days in jail after being arrested in late June on a gun charge. He promised to appear on Ben's radio show in August of 2008, after his probation ends.
