I found the first game to be very boring without entering Prestige mode, even if I was trying to unlock guns and stuff.

EAD is not worth it, as soon as you call it in, some cocksucker will have a precision/harrier airstrike or a predator missile and get 3-5 members of your team, then run and still your shit.

Thats why you shotgun them, then point the gun at their insertion and fuck their shit up again.

Yet you prestiged, you no longer have access to hardly anything.

I find it too slow to be honest, though I have been aiming to get an acog/silencer and trying that out.

FAL + ACOG + Stopping Power = Win

Noted, also a great combo is Barret + Thermal + Extended Mags and have PP2000 with extended mags and RDS, works wonders

M21 EBR is the superior sniper rifle.

I went prestige to, not a big deal this time, FAMAS and M4A1 are starting weapons. M4A1 was my favorite gun in MW1 and the FAMAS was a suitable replacement for the M16 until I got back to 40. So no big deal.

I have only ever used it when I picked it up off enemies, so would it have the zero recoil it did in MW1? If so, I am definitely using that one.

Need to take tactical inserts out of the game, I know they've some legitimate uses but nearly every Free For All I play lately 2 lads go sit in a corner somewhere and use them to get one of the pair the win. Gives me great pleasure finding the happy couple and stopping the nuke but they still win the game obviously and its just irrating seeing the same game winning kill cam constantly, bloke places insert, bloke gets stabbed. Would rather play against an entire team of akimbo 1887ers

I did the other night, the group was called 1887, they were cocksuckers but a barrett 50 cal shot makes them dead pretty quick ;)

Ok, story goes I get my air drop at 4 (Sentry Gun) and my Snetry Gun at 5.

I Place it to my immediate left (Im the blue dot behind the crate) and on the roof slightly up the map from it, bud calls in a Emergency Airdrop and I get another sentry gun, placed that one up a bit from me behind a crate.

Using my Themal Barrett 50 Cal, I went 52-3-7 on the map :cool:

best game I have ever played.

I got 2 Sentry Guns out of my emergency airdrop on highrise, was amazing, went 32-1. Put one up on the platform with the helicopter and the other outside the door way below, ezmode for kills when the enemy comes out of the building :cool:


Only thing I hate about the emergency airdrop is when it's useless, like 2 ammo crates and 2 counter uavs

everytime i make it to the roof on highrise, i end up forgetting to pick a class with a fucking scope. :(

You do realize counter-Uavs make it so you can fire all 100 shots of an RPD and not be seen right?

Normally I just throw on my Rapid Vector and Stopping Powered AA12 and go whoop some ass until the Counter is over.

Just prestiged. I just couldn't stand it.

Stay along the left hand side of the level, and kill those guys. Then clear out the little opening thing, then run through. You just have to really take your time with everything, assuming you're talking about the very beginning.

I was thinking of doing it today, but everyone who was in my party and prestiged said don't do it. It's not worth it.

Thats one of the first things I do when I enter a game. Muting people is fun. Mostly everyone who plays is annoying.

I've stopped muting people ever since I got to hear someone complaining when an attempt to sneak up behind me for a knife kill went badly wrong. It was nicely satisfying hearing them cry about it.

Man, I got thrown into a Domination game (on PC) on Rust with 9v9 and the score limit was 10,000... and each capture was worth one point.

The Barret 50 Cal, I am pro with. Got the Fall Camo which is awesome. Also got the All Pro title which is two Headshots with one bullet. :cool: For assault rifles, ACR is probably the best, ridiculous accuracy at long range.

I've been sleeping with a silenced ACR these days. It's a part of my 'aggressive stealth' class and it's been working out for me. Cold Blooded takes a lot of stress off, with guys not being trusted to take out air support (it's almost always me helping the team). I'm also using UAV, Counter UAV, and Sentry Gun killstreaks now. Quicker reward for owning, going with my more aggressive style. I am the Camp Hunter now. My mission is to stop guys from nuking people, since players seem to forget where a well placed enemy is. "He shot me from a good camp spot, but when I respawn I'll just go about my business and leave him alone." Fuck that.

I want cold blooded pro. But that is gonna be a pain in the ass to unlock.

As soon as I hear that there will be air support, I set my class to Heavy Duty which is a Thermal/Grip RPD and a Stinger and I shoot that fucker down. I shoot down AC130's, anything that is in the air get it down quickly, except for Chopper Gunner, then just stay the fuck inside.

Cold Blooded Pro is excellent for Snipers, but I dont use it.

Scavenger (For my Claymores) Stopping Power Pro and Steady Aim for my sniper class.

For my stealth class I go with a silenced UMP, An extended Mags AA12, Marathon, Hardline and Commando.

Have my killstreaks set as Care Package/Harrier Strike/Emergency Airdrop

I got an AC130 in my Package and 2 in my Airdrop, I was called a fucking lucky faggot, asshole, cocksucker, son of a bitch, you name it after the match was over and I went 39-4

Shoot down every UAV and anti-UAV going. Blast away senty guns too.

Use a Stinger, not Javelin because it's turd. Have Scavenger on too so you can have more shots.

Scar is rather good. All assault rifles are good really except FAL.

Yeah I didn't use the FAL hardly at all my first time through. But this second time around when I unlock it I will try it more.

I use the FAL in FFA sometimes. I can rape some people with it because it reminds me of the G3 in MW1, which I loved. I wish it was a little better, but whatever. It is fun to use.

I dont like it as its a slow assault rifle, a shitty sniper wannabe rifle and its unaffected by stopping power at long range. Like req said its like the G3 from mw1, which I only ever used when I wanted a silenced sniper rifle. Now that you can actually have one (which is retarded as you need two shots to kill below neck and I am a very good shot with the sniper and cant often get a one shot kill with a silenced sniper rifle as they have too much recoil)

I also think that five of us in S&D with Mics would own some major ass.

Why don't you cry about it then, silencers reduce the range of guns, that is how guns work.

M16 Holo sight for my 'go-2' class. FAL ACOG sight for my 'go-2' long range class. Silenced P90 (W/ Insertion) for my defensive stealth class. Silenced ACR for my aggressive stealth class. And akimbo P90s for my 'fuck this' War Machine class.

Couldn't ever imagine using the G3 or FAL as a 'sniper only' rifle. Like, putting an ACOG on it would just kill its up-close performance completely. Red Dot is where it's at.

G3 in MW1 was rape up-close, and you were losing out on its effectiveness if you only used it as a long-range gun. FAL is a short second behind, but it is still a 2-3 shot kill, which is just a quick double tap away.

In FFA, you just have to get used to using pistol/tac knife when you go into buildings, and you can rock some bitches.

FAL works perfectly fine as a sniping tool with an ACOG.

Yeah I am not debating that. Just saying you kill its effectiveness by using it as only a sniping weapon. It works fine long range with a red dot. FAL was probably some of the fastest unlocks I've ever gotten. lol

RDS on FAL is the only way to go unless you want to use it as a sniper rifle.
I used the G3 in MW1 as a sniper as I sometimes wanted to do some long ranged stealthy shooting/support for Domination matches.

As for going into building I like using dual shotguns, AA12 or Striker.

Yes, Its a shitty sniper though. Which is balanced out by the fact that if your not a skilled sniper, your not completely fucked at close range.

It was fun, but there are assault rifles better from the start.

False, the Holo will show a little blue spot on it when you get close to someone inside a building or around the corner, the red dot, does not.

Weapons don't really have a huge amount to do with it - the starter weapons aren't that bad really and it doesn't take long to get stuff like grenade launchers and red dot sights.

Helps when you begin to get more familiar with the layout of the maps as well.

Just remember to shot anyone who does not have green letters above their head. Also Domination is better than Team Deathmatch.

No not bothered since in the end every console generation has people worrying too much about what kids should or shouldn't be playing and less on parents being responsible for what is being played by their children. Every generation has people saying games are too realistic in appearance or themes and its going to happen again next generation when graphics or controllers improve (ex. Godfather on the Wii mimics strangling someone when you make the strangling motion).

Its partially based on the stereotype of games as a child's form of entertainment and how most adults online act like kids (mostly in mic supported games).
