The WWE plans to use that strategy for ECW now that Paul Heyman is gone.

M-A-G 01-07-2007 12:31 PM

EWR

Crippla 01-07-2007 12:34 PM

See, I know nothing about it. I don't even know what it is. :o

Skippord 01-07-2007 04:11 PM

I had to send CM Punk to rehab for a drug problem

Xero 01-07-2007 04:11 PM

LOL

Skippord 01-07-2007 04:17 PM

Now I have to strip the world title from him :'(

Xero 01-07-2007 04:19 PM

I don't know what it is, but EWR seems so much better and well rounded than TEW. Can't believe I wasted $60 on the first two.

DS 01-07-2007 06:34 PM

I downloaded TEW2007 about 3 days ago and there is just so much to do that I can't even find the time to start. As soon as I took the time to create a promotion I went to go book the first show and there was just so much more to do that I quit. It's hard coming up with ideas for everyone all at once. I think I need to start with a promotion that is already running.

With four weeks to go until Survival Of The Fittest 2007, ROH Commissioner Jimmy Hart announces a 15-man tournament to determine the #1 contender for Johnny Jeter's World Title. The tournament runner-up will face Alex Shelley for the Pure Title.

Here are the first-round match-ups. Previous champion "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson receives a bye.

El Hijo Del Santo vs. Cibernetico
Black Tiger IV vs. Mikey Whipwreck
Vampiro vs. Jody Fleisch
Roderick Strong vs. Mark Briscoe
Sean Waltman vs. Devon Storm
Shocker vs. Eric Young
Austin Aries vs. Jay Briscoe

Also announced for the SotF card: For nearly ten months, a war has been raging between the top two tag teams in Ring Of Honor. The Second City Saints and the Briscoe Brothers will settle their score once and for all inside of a steel cage!

Jay and Mark Briscoe have both stated that if either of them win the tournament to earn the shot at Jeter, they will compete in both matches. They both want the World Title, but they also both want to annihilate Ace Steel and Colt Cabana and put this feud to rest.

Other matches will be announced as the tournament plays out.

Anyone know if there are any torrents of TEW 07? Demonoid said none found.

Xero 01-10-2007 02:28 PM

Just get EWR, TEW is too deep to be honest, and it'll be months before a good real world mod comes out.

DS 01-10-2007 02:46 PM

Yeah, it really is too deep. Especially if you are running a large promotion with a lot of wrestlers. You have to give them each storylines, which there aren't enough for everyone so you create your own, and then you have to set every plot point and ridiculous amounts of time just for one storyline that will probably cover 2 people. Then after that you have to follow it all, and the fact that they are all fictional characters so you really know nothing about them makes it even more impossible to run through quick storylines or gimmicks.

M-A-G 01-10-2007 08:00 PM

Hah, not so easy is it. Maybe we can lay off the creative for a while. Insulting their stupidity is still OK, though.

loopydate 01-10-2007 09:23 PM

Well, the thing is WWE Creative is a team. With that many writers, they should be able to come up with enough storylines to go around.

That's a lot to ask from one person.

I did that once as WWE. Bought out two promotions who were on the verge of bankruptcy. Got a couple of good indy workers... and a TON of shitty guys that I stuck in OVW before releasing them.

We got a .36 buy rate.
4532 people attended.
I made an even $900,000 in PPV revenue.
$181,280 worth of tickets were sold.

Austin Aries is now a main-eventer.
Colt Cabana is now a main-eventer.
The Second City Saints/Briscoe Brothers feud is now over.

I have passed IWA: Puerto Rico as the #3 promotion.

As a result of that, I was able to sign El Hijo Del Santo to a written contract. Good. Now I can use him on TV. His high-dollar open contract kept me from using him more than once or twice a month.

Sonny Siaki's debut attacking Danielson means that he will be joining Johnny Jeter's new stable called The Heavies. Jeter is the leader, of course, seeing as how he's the World Champion. Cibernetico is the other top-tier guy in the group. I added Claudio Castagnoli as well, hoping he could get a rub from being in a stable with Jeter and Cibernetico.

Mr. Gannosuke has announced that he will retire in one month.

I made $1.56 million off merchandise.

Our public image is growing every month.

Mikey Whipwreck turned 34 and Adam Pearce turned 30 in June.

I brought in 20th Century Fox and DreamWorks Pictures as new sponsors.

loopydate 02-08-2007 11:34 PM

Also, I have something HUGE planned for August. I'm going to let Nana, Smokes, and Lacey's contracts expire. Collyer, Whitmer, Rave, and Delirious have 31 days to impress me or else their contracts expire. The money that's going toward those people will be channeled into my idea for the next major ROH storyline.

Mr. Monday Morning 02-11-2007 07:58 AM

Hmm, I haven't done anything like this in ages but I've just d/l'd EWR so I'm gonna see firstly if I can take TNA to the top  and then I'll go off and book ROH in my own image. I'll take you on loopy

Mr. Monday Morning 02-11-2007 02:45 PM

Took ages but finally did my first PPV. TV has been hovering around 4-4.5.

Austin Aries over Jack Evans via Kevin Nash interferance
Monty Brown over Bryan Danielson via Nigel McGuinness interferance
Low Ki retained the X-Division title over CIMA via cheating
Samoa Joe vs Lance Storm draw
Scott Steiner over Christian Cage via Brock Lesnar interferance
Christopher Daniels/AJ Styles retained the tag titles over Team 3D in a tables match
Sting over Jeff Jarrett for the NWA Heavyweight title

Got a 78% rating, each match had a better rating than the last, so at least I can book a card ok. 0.77 buyrate, 8551 in attendance, $1.925m PPV revenue, $342k ticket sales. WM did a 1.69 in comparison on the same day (!) so I'm actually more happy than I would be otherwise.

Impact! 02-12-2007 02:21 AM

Which version of EWR are you using btw.

As AJ & Christopher Daniels V Team 3D in the original version would prolly be an ok match, but AJ & Daniels V Team 3D in the latest edit would almost certainly suck ass.

Mr. Monday Morning 02-12-2007 07:35 AM

4.2

That match got an 88% overall, which I was pretty happy with. Cut pretty much all the dross off the roster and signed the cream of the indies, more or less. Gonna phase out guys like James Gang etc. Can't remember exactly cause I'm at work but definitely picked up:

Briscoes (now being managed by Cornette)
Kings of Wrestling
Super Dragon & Davey Richards (Super Dravey)
Mike Quackenbush
Milano Collection AT
CIMA
Tajiri
Jack Evans
Matt Sydal
Delirious
Human Tornado
Jimmy Rave (w/ Prince Nana)
Colt Cabana
Bryan Danielson
Nigel McGuinness
Lance Storm

<font color=goldenrod>Much like loopy, Raw just got canceled on me with no warning at all :|

And I sent out a promo tape to NBC before realizing I was too risky for them. So I'm gonna have a good month or so of only having two shows, probably having Raw segments on each.</font>

Evil Vito 02-13-2007 07:33 PM

<font color=goldenrod>After booking a week with a Raw/SD hybrid show, here's ECW One Night Stand. Just a note on my game: I am doing a draft lottery in this game, hence why some ended up on ECW. I also am creating the ECW Hard Bastard Title - only to be defended in Hardcore Matches.

ECW Hard Bastard Title Invitation Battle Royal: Test wins the title and the match, last eliminating The Sandman. Other participants included: Axl Rotten, Balls Mahoney, Big Show, Chuck Palumbo, Finlay, Johnny Swinger, Little Guido, and Tony Mamaluke. 62% Overall Rating

Muhammad Hassan made Raven pass out in the Camel Clutch. He continued to leave the hold locked in long after the match's conclusion. ***, 84% Overall. Muhammad Hassan gained overness.

London & Kendrick defeated The Impact Players to retain the Undisputed Tag Team Championships when London pinned Storm. ****, 84% Overall

Masato Tanaka pinned Sabu with the Diamond Dust. ***1/2, 81% Overall

I Quit Match: Tommy Dreamer defeated Mick Foley. ***, 79% Overall. Tommy Dreamer gained overness.

Christian Cage has an interview in which he states the Undisputed Title will soon be his. 83% Overall

Kurt Angle made Christian Cage submit to the Ankle Lock to retain the Undisputed Title. ****, 90% Overall

Evil Vito 02-13-2007 09:59 PM

<font color=goldenrod>Not much to note in OVW, except that a ton of people are being pussies and want out. Wimps.

Anyways, here's some updating on my draft lottery thus far:

To RAW: Joey Mercury, Gangrel, Vito, Trinity

To ECW: Finlay, Christian Cage, Johnny Parisi (now re-named Johnny Swinger...w/ Torrie Wilson), Rene Dupree

To SmackDown!: Yoshihiro Tajiri, Umaga (w/ Armando Alejandro Estrada), Danny Basham (injured)

And that's where I'm at now. I'm set to have Shawn Michaels get drafted to Smackdown next.

Also, I got a late evening slot with NBC. I'll try getting that promoted to full time if it goes well after a month or so</font>

Evil Vito 02-14-2007 10:05 PM

<font color=goldenrod>Final draft lottery results:

To RAW, from SmackDown!: Joey Mercury, Vito, The Undertaker
To RAW, from ECW: Gangrel, Trinity, The Sandman

To ECW, from SmackDown!: Finlay, Christian Cage, Simon Dean
To ECW, from RAW: Johnny Parisi, Rene Dupree, Edge

To SmackDown!, from ECW: Yoshihiro Tajiri, Tony Mamaluke, Masato Tanaka
To SmackDown!, from RAW: Umaga, Danny Basham, Shawn Michaels</font>

Sorry if I'm ignorant but all this stuff looks real cool. Whats the programs you need to get to get a a real world wrestling simulator?

Evil Vito 02-15-2007 08:48 AM

<font color=goldenrod>It's called EWR. Just look it up, not sure where to download it.

Anyways, here's the SmackDown exclusive PPV, Great American Bash:

Masato Tanaka pinned William Regal with the Diamond Dust. ***1/4, 81% Overall Rating

Gregory Helms cheated to defeat Yoshihiro Tajiri, Rey Mysterio, and Matt Hardy to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and extend his reign. ***1/4, 82% Overall Rating

Booker T cheated to defeat Batista. ***, 84% Overall Rating

London & Kendrick defeated The Mexicools to retain the Undisputed Tag Team Titles when Kendrick pinned Super Crazy. ****1/4, 87% Overall. The titles have gained in image

Ken Kennedy cheated to defeat Chris Benoit. ***, 79% Overall Rating

Bob Sapp pinned Lashley to win the WWE United States Championship. *1/2, 68% Overall Rating. Despite this the belt gained in image

Shawn Michaels cheated to beat Kurt Angle, but a ref came out and reversed the decision. Then, Triple H from Raw rushed in from the crowd and laid out both men to end the show. ***1/2, 93% Overall Rating

83% Overall Rating for the Great American Bash

William Regal: That bloody pillock Masato Tanaka was working too stiff.

Anyways, the ratings were there but this just felt like a very blah show.

NBC are willing to promote me to prime time but only if I lower my risk level. I think I'll do that because as easy as it is, you can't fit everybody you want to on a show with 6 segments.</font>

Man I should really try and get back into this. Despite all the improvements, I think TEW took the fun out of the game because there was so much to do.

I downloaded EWR and am playing as ROH. I've started a feud between my top face, Raven, and my top heel, AJ Styles. Sadly, no TV station wants me.

Got a hott Kendrick V London feud bursting up the card and a great Styles/Carlito tag team.

RVD/Cena for WWE title are tearing up the main event while CM Punk and Kennedy's feud is making a name for them on the midcard.

With just four weeks to go until War Of The Wire, one of the most shocking moments in Ring Of Honor history has occured!

In the TV main event, Ace Steel and Colt Cabana, the multiple-time ROH Tag Team Champions, faced off against the team of Cibernetico and the ROH World Champion Johnny Jeter. In the closing moments of the match, Steel was prepared to pull off a huge upset as he set up Jeter for his Steel Spike, only to be betrayed by Cabana, the most popular wrestler in Ring of Honor!

After the match, Cabana helped The Heavies beat down Steel before revealing that he was the stable's newest member. After adding former Pure Champion Nigel McGuinness the previous week, The Heavies seem to be unstoppable heading into the War.

However, after being assaulted by Jeter's stable, ROH Commissioner Jimmy Hart has something up his sleeve. Last week, Hart was seen on the phone, speaking with an unknown party. Apparently, a ten-man tag team match has been arranged for War of the Wire, pitting Jeter, Cibernetico, Sonny Siaki, and the European Connection (Claudio Castagnoli and Nigel McGuiness) against... Well, that we don't know.

Also announced for the War card:

Alex Shelley will defend the ROH Pure Title against his former friend turned longtime rival Austin Aries. These two have had some of the best ROH bouts in recent history, and the latest chapter in their rivalry should be no exception.

Ace Steel will face off against his former friend Colt Cabana of The Heavies in a grudge match. With Colt's backing, Steel has risen to main-event status in Ring Of Honor. However, will he be able to maintain his momentum against the man who helped bring him to the top? And can he maintain his composure against such a hated rival and not make a fatal mistake?

Sean Waltman continues his quest for ROH gold, this time asking Vampiro to team with him to take on the Briscoe Brothers. Since finally settling their score with the Second City Saints, Jay and Mark Briscoe have had a stranglehold on the ROH tag division. Waltman tried and failed to unseat them at Death Before Dishonor with Shocker as his partner. Will he have better luck with Vampiro?

El Hijo Del Santo and Mikey Whipwreck have been at each other's throats for the better part of six months, but other circumstances and feuds have been getting in the way of a proper PPV match. This will not be the case at WotW, because these two will tangle.

"American Dragon" Bryan Danielson came to Santo's aid last week when he was double-teamed by Whipwreck and Devon Storm. This infuriated Storm, who has demanded a match with Danielson at WotW.

Other matches are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, as several main-eventers and upper-midcarders still don't have announced matches, but are being advertised to appear. Plus, the PPV is titled War of the Wire, which means that at least one match is likely to be contested under barbed-wire rules. However, Jimmy Hart has yet to announce which, if any, match will carry that stipulation.

Things are getting interesting in Ring of Honor. Stay tuned for further updates!

Yeah, I'm bored.

Indifferent Clox 02-21-2007 08:03 PM

I don't normally post my stuff on here but I decided it was time to do that.

I created all my own guys from my no mercy 64 days. My thing is called PWF and I just came up with a killer angle.

Ok I'm having a huge 32 man tournament this month, I have 3 shows on TV 1 is a graveyard monday night show, where big things happen because I want people to watch. One is Tuesday night, one is Thursday.

Ok on Tuesday there was going to be a match between Taft Carson (#2 Face), The PWF champion, and Jack Carson (#4 Heel) his brother. This would be the feud ending match.

So the Week before I had Taft and Jack Fight With Molly Carson (their Sister) as the ref. The ref did an unfair DQ on Taft. So the night before the match Nick Carson (Taft, Jack, and Molly's little Brother) and Wes Varney, the Tag team champs did a promo against Molly and Jack. Taft went on to win.

At this point I start A feud between Jack carson/molly Carson and NIck Carson/Wes Varney. It should be said that in PWF women fight men on a regular basis.

The next week the Tournamnet started and in the first round Jack fought Wes Varney and cheated to win. So Nick is of course pissed as is Wes.

The next show Jack does a promo against Nick. The next show he interferes in Nick's first round tournament match.

So I've been getting great ratings up to this point. consistently 6 and up and the network is extremely happy. especially since one of my shows is graveyard.

I brought this company up from a backyard thing.

I have a ppv coming up soon and will of course have them fight then. But this all sort of fell together.

By the way Taft, still the PWF champion, is going to win the tournament thus winning the DHW title. He will then defend it against JC Phoenix in the Match of the year! JC got the DHW title stripped from him.

I'll probably have Molly Carson win the Women's title and Jack win the American title.

It should be amazing. We already beat WWE in ratings.

loopydate 02-21-2007 10:00 PM

I neglected to notice that Nigel McGuinness is booked in Japan the night of WotW, so the ten-man tag is now an eight-man tag. More later.

Evil Vito 02-22-2007 07:15 AM

<font color=goldenrod>Fucking hell.

My initial plans for the SD side of the KOTR tourney saw Lashley cleanly beating Batista, Ken Kennedy, and finally Shawn Michaels to advance to the final match of the tournament (where he would then lose to Booker for the second straight year)

Then Michaels has to be a bitch and refuse to lose to Lashley. This is the first time in the game that Michaels has refused to job. And because of it, I had to change the entire end to the SD side of the tourney. I can't do Booker vs. Michaels becauae heel vs. heel is a heat vacuum. So now I'm doing Benoit vs. Michaels, sending Benoit to Summerslam as the SD representative</font>

Evil Vito 02-22-2007 09:55 PM

<font color=goldenrod>Right so I'm now a week away from SummerSlam. Barring injuries or suspensions here's the card:

Undisputed Championship: Kurt Angle vs. Winner of the KOTR Tournament

Undisputed Tag Team Championships: MNM vs. London & Kendrick vs. The Impact Players vs. Lords of the Ring

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Open: Gregory Helms vs. Rey Mysterio vs.
Matt Hardy vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Funaki vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Shannon Moore vs. Tony Mamaluke vs. Jimmy Yang vs. A Mystery Participant

King of the Ring Final: Chris Jericho vs. Raven vs. Chris Benoit

Sonny Siaki vs. CM Punk

Barbed Wire: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H

Inferno Match: Kane vs. The Undertaker

Tables Match: Edge and Christian vs. Rob Van Dam and Sabu

Three interpromotional matches, but I have no doubt Siaki/Punk will tear the house down

Prolly not gonna get to this tonight, maybe tomorrow</font>

With just two weeks to go before the War of the Wire, Jimmy Hart made an announcement that could spell the beginning of the end of The Heavies' reign of terror in Ring of Honor.

On the last TV show, Hart announced that Johnny Jeter, Cibernetico, Sonny Siaki, Claudio Castagnoli, and the newest Heavy Chris Hero would take on...

THE NATURAL BORN THRILLERS!

Mike Sanders, Mark Jindrak, Chuck Palumbo, Shawn Stasiak, and Johnny Stamboli are Hart's chosen representatives in the ten-man tag team match. Sean O'Haire will be in Japan on a tour and will be unable to attend, but will rejoin his stablemates at a later date. Original NBT Reno no longer wants to be an active wrestler and declined Hart's invitation to come to RoH.

So with one more show to go, here is the WotW card:

Ten-Man Tag: Natural Born Thrillers vs. The Heavies
Pure Title: Austin Aries vs. Alex Shelley (c)
Tag Team Titles: Sean Waltman & Vampiro vs. The Briscoe Brothers (c)
Grudge Match: Ace Steel vs. Colt Cabana
Grudge Match: El Hijo Del Santo vs. Mikey Whipwreck
Bryan Danielson vs. Devon Storm
Shocker vs. Jody Fleisch
Black Tiger IV vs. Jimmy Jacobs
KENTA vs. Ricky Reyes
