Nah, pretty sure it’s her brother.

uhg the king of the ring bracket was revealed. Its fucking whack. They are blowing so much shit in the first round.
|
Yeah. Honestly think Baron Corbin is gonna win this just because Vince got a thing for him.

Don't see anyone from Smackdown's side winning it but what happens to Owens likely determines if its Ricochet, Drew, or Corbin that wins it all.
If Drew beats Ricochet, then its Drew vs Owens in the finals and King Drew as the result due to Shane shenanigans. If Ricochet wins, then Ricochet wins it all if he beats Corbin in the RAW finals. Owens gets elminated in the semis due to Shane shenanigans and Andrade reps the blue brand. If Corbin beats him instead, then Corbin wins the crown via Shane shenanigans in the finals. |
Corbin is the only person in the tournament that I have no interest in, so yeah he’s winning

Are people really upset Moxley ripped of Pentagon Jrs mask to win at some random indie show?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">THATS HOW YOU DEFEAT A MASKED COMPETITOR <a href="https://t.co/Pnx5PMM9OR">pic.twitter.com/Pnx5PMM9OR</a></p>— Jessi Davin (@jessithebuckeye) <a href="https://twitter.com/jessithebuckeye/status/1162745368389570560?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 17, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
It would have been better used on an AEW show to promote a bigger event that would draw money, but no, not really. Completely acceptable way to get heat against a luchador.
|
Considering the special status of masks in Mexico, it could have landed Pentagon Jr in some serious hot water in AAA and risk losing out on a mega payday in the future.
Rey Mysterio took a ton of heat in Mexico for getting unmasked in WCW because of how haphazardly it was handled. Del Rio unmasking Sin Cara in WWE was him deliberately doing it out of real life hatred and trying to wreck Sin Cara's earning power in Mexico. Don't remember if Del Rio took serious heat in Mexico for doing it but he didn't care at all. |

Besides, Penta has almost full facepaint on under the mask. |
That was a good spot for Mox. I don't think Penta is "unmasked" this spot is common. Even did it with Rey a few weeks back.

Haven't cared about Evolve since they lost Roderick Strong, Will Ospreay, Zack Sabre Jr., Matt Riddle, and the like. Now the person I'm most familiar with is Eddie Kingston. And nothing against Eddie Kingston but I'm not super invested in him.
I guess they do have AR Fox who I think is incredible, but other than that I don't even know who their champion is. |
I don't care for it either but if NXT goes to USA, WWE will need a new development territory.

They do go overboard with the actual ripping of the masks that you might as well not even be wearing one. Like El Hijo de Fantasma's face was pretty much exposed during last year's TripleMania main event match due to how badly LA Park ripped his mask prior to having to be officially unmasked. |
I switched from Direc TV Now to Sling and I can see ROH plays on The Stadium Network, watching it. It's an 8 man from The Hammerstein Show. Crowd is shot very well and the show and workers are great.

Right now, WWE's developmental system is pretty much 3 divisions: * PC - all the raw and new talent * NXT (non-TV) - everyone who does NXT house show tours but are not tv ready or rarely appear on NXT TV * NXT (proper) - television ready talent. Non-TV NXT would become the new official developmental system instead of simply being the hidden part of NXT. |

Is anyone watching ROH right now?
This 8-Man was great! |

I'm watching this Summer Slam spectacular special RAW from like 1993. I miss this. Hot crowd for a Steiners/Money Inc cage match, Gorilla and JR on commentary. Mad nostalgia.

Two recent rumors going around the net regarding backstage stuff in WWE.
The first being that CFO$ might have recently left the company. Basis for the rumor is the lack of their music appearing in recent WWE releases on iTunes and elsewhere. Also a lot of people in NXT UK are still using stock music for themes. The second being more rumblings of 205 Live ending this year and very likely in October when the new tv contracts take effect. Might be the reason behind both Kalisto and Gran Metalik's recent tweets of them leaving the company once their current contracts expire since they know their tv time is going to get cut back by a lot. |
Wasn’t Gran Metalik a legend in Mexico? Lol.

Lance Archer was just featured in a major way even took a stunner on the latest episode of Straight Up Steve Austin. He came off like a star. Feeling like his days in Japan are numbered.

You have almost 2500 posts on a wrestling message board
|
Yeah but wrestling shows are 2 to 3hrs and it takes less than a minute to type 95% of my posts.
That's really not that many in the 6/7yrs I been on here. |

Aww!
Y'all get so trigger by insults but it's what y'all do frequently on here when y'all nerds don't like a wrestler. |

Apparently Stephanie McMahon had another tone deaf moment on Twitter recently involving her trying to bring awareness to the lack of women representation in sports media.
Predictably it caused a bunch of complaints revolving around her hypocrisy of demanding others improve the status of women in their field of employment while ignoring WWE's own poor treatment of their women's division, especially in terms of quality screen time. Fightful did some math (not the Steiner type) to find out if the complaints were justified and only dating back to the Evolution PPV (October). Turns out WWE's women's division lost over 2 hours of total screen time since Ronda left and Smackdown being the worst brand for women in terms of screen time percentage. https://www.fightful.com/wrestling/e...y-less-airtime |
