Miro should’ve had a World title program already. Truth be told he should’ve never lost the TNT title. The only one who I’d argue should have been considered was Kingston, but even then. They should’ve fed Sammy, Cody and Scorpio Sky to Miro. And then built to a huge match against Wardlow for TNT title at double or nothing. Make it a big deal and give Wardlow a big win fresh off beating MJF.

Then Miro could’ve taken a short sabbatical to rest and came back to give Moxley a fresh match. Cue Malakai Black and the house coming back to cost him the title, thus quasi turning him again and finishing the Miro Malakai feud in a singles match.

Easy

It really shuld not be that hard to find a spot for Miro. You could have him crushing cans on YouTube, then parading him out on Dynamite defeating some of the lower tier guys and using him to elevate a lower tier guy to mid-card level or using him to firmly establish a Jungle Boy or Yuta up the ladder and a credible threat.

You could have him in the Kane position, he can challenge for the World title and it feel credible... literally like someone said before me...

YOU CAN HAVE HIM ANYWHERE on the card... tag, opening, middle match, squash match, main event, Dark, You Tube, and it will be meaningful.

The only knock is he does not wrestle the AEW preferred style of high spots with flashy moves that ultimately mean nothing because they don;t get a 3 count.

When he first arrived on the scene he got himself over and also highlighted that the only way to defeat him was for his opponents to target his injured neck. So everytime the guys he fought for the TNT title used moves to target his neck... IT MEANT something because that was his vulnerability.

I think Tony teased something coming in early 2023 but at this point I’d consider doing something on YouTube just to start setting out defined lines. They’re using the TV to serve too many elements of the product, it’s confusing and clunky.

It's kind wild to think that tomorrow marks one year since Hook's first match where everyone was blown away. He's wrestled only 15 more times since his debut, and nearly all of them have been the same. It was fun for a little while but now it just feels more obvious they think he's too green to do more than he has.

Hopefully he's putting in work behind the scenes, because wrestling in highly choreographed squash matches once a month can only help you so much.

I read the last time people saw Miro was All Out? So this charismatic brute that people actually want to see was successful in teaming with a living legend and a young up-and-comer homegrown by the promotion…and then just disappears for no reason? Imagine being a fan of Miro and plonking down $50 because you were invested in his role in the company then having this rug pulled out from under you.

CM Punk also disappeared without any on-air explanation. There are no doubt people who don’t care to research wrestling on the internet who have no clue about the situation with him and The Elite who think this is a big wacky storyline.

The way Tony Khan books is the way you’d go about trying to bury talent so you could look them in the face and tell them you were trying to give them opportunities while you did it.

For a good while, it was a race to the fucking bottom. The few times AEW stumbled on something that could/did change their fortunes, they consistently squandered it. Meanwhile in Connecticut, there was lots of "hold my beer" going on to the point of blatant active self-sabotage. There is just a lot more lifelong habitual watchers for almost anything WWE; likely out of fear that the one week they finally give up on looking at the shit would be the one week where a bunch of good stuff started happening and it became "good again".

It was like being a teacher and watching second graders take a spelling test at the end of every week: only one doesn't understand English and apparently isn't in the process of learning it, and the other knows all the answers every time, but just decides to write nothing but swear words for all the answers just because.

It would be kinda ironic if it came full circle and Adam Cole has to quit the in-ring and decides to become a manager.

ROH network being $9.99 a month and NOT including the PPVs is insane. Anyone who buys into that at that price is a straight mark.

Does it come with the whole library? I'd still pay 10 bucks for that. Its what I'd be more interested in anyway.

I dunno if it does or not, so far as I know only the weekly ROH show has been announced for it. You have to think they are including at least a large chunk of the library or they are insane.

My understanding is it is from 2012 on, so no it does not include the whole library. None of the early Danielson, Phil, Joe, Claudio stuff. Basically you are getting the very end of Kevin Owens, and The Elite/Undisputed runs before they left for New Japan/NXT.

Also, it is insane that people who never cared about ROH are excited about this just because Tiny Khan owns it now.

Those ROH shows are going to be on YouTube within 3 months. This thing is already a giant mess. And if you do convince some people to give it a chance it could cut into Dynamite, but not likely enough to actually be valuable for ROH.

That was one I actually didn't mind. For starters I thought there was some really fun stuff there. But mostly because the feud itself was never really planned to happen in the first place.

IIRC, Jericho was meant to be off for most if not all of that summer doing a pre-scheduled Fozzy tour. But of course COVID then cancelled all gigs and so he was available for AEW again, and they had to piece something together for him.

Mine was when they pulled Adam Page vs. PAC from their first show because they had no clue how to book it.

Jericho will put over Action Jackson another one or two times. Do the Triple H for Shelton Benjamin. Use it as a “See!” to justify all the stupid stuff he does. It wouldn’t surprise me if you don’t even see Action next week though. They are horrible with following stuff up.

Everyone implies that AEW runs it’s reliable markets too often, but the truth is probably that these are the markets they can run without completely drying up.

Ticket sales for Laredo and Sacramento are not going well. Have they sold out Seattle yet? The markets they run into the ground just aren’t great markets for them.
