Schiavone is still my favorite by far. They play off of each other so well. JR likes to go on too many rants that end up off topic and force Conrad to reel it back in. I’m torn on whether I prefer that to Prichard trying to sugar-coat every shitty idea in WWE history. Bischoff’s is definitely the worst of the four though.

Former UFC Champ Cain Velasquez will be making his pro-wrestling debut for Mexico's AAA at their biggest yearly show, Triplemanía.

Between losing The Elite guys and waiting way too long to really pull the trigger on any of the guys they signed to 1-year deals, ROH is crashing hard this year for ticket sales outside of the Supercard event. Already had to move Final Battle 2019 out of New York City because of the declining market there for the company.

Nice alternative to have on TV if you were able to track it down.

But, with Bubba Ray calling shots, WWE poaching some of their up and coming talent, among other various issues, it ain't what it used to be.

With ROH likely going down, what do you see CMLL and New Japan doing to expose their talents to a market in the US? A lot of people think the eventual New Japan/AEW relationship is just a formality, but is it? New Japan has been very staunchly trying to protect their content from AEW. Even if the ROH relationship gets devalued, the CMLL relationship is still something they'll probably want to maintain.

MLW is a possibility. Court Bauer has ties with AAA though, but that could always change should MLW decide to get more competitive as a promotion. I guess there's also a chance that New Japan could do something with the NWA, should it become an actual functioning promotion again with the right backing, Impact Wrestling (as much as I hate to admit it), or even a new one.

Part of me has wondered this since the start of the year, however, and I'm not sure I've vocalized it in here before: A WWE/New Japan/CMLL relationship would not absolutely astound me. When news of AEW started up, I thought one of the wildest things Vince could do to take the edge off is announce something with New Japan. Vince has worked with other promotions before, he just prefers WWE to be the center of the universe and won't rely on those relationships when he doesn't need them.

I'd never have predicted that Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff would end up as "Executive Directors" of Raw and SmackDown, respectively. The industry is undergoing some pretty heavy changes. It really would be something.

I have a hard time getting behind The Miz when he's portraying a face. He's a solid promo when he's motivated / a heel. Not a fan of his strikes.

MJF is the early and clear cut big winner out of AEW coming about. He was too good for MLW, ROH is basically on its death bed, he'd never work with his gimmick in NJPW and WWE might have wanted him but it would be Ambrose 2.0 you know he wouldn't be happy.. I figure without AEW he'd end up on Impact wasting his talent there

Anytime I see Impact on TV I am immediately taken aback by the emptiness of both the crowd and the atmosphere. It's like the skeleton of wrestling.
