(Note: this doesn't include dark matches)

Ever since the advent of the Wild Card rule on the May 6 edition of RAW, Roman has appeared on RAW in 7 of the last 8 shows; compared to being on 4 of the last 8 episodes of SD Live. Roman's last appearance on SD Live was on June 3, and he hasn't had a televised match on SD since May 28.

Some other notable stats since the start of the wild card on May 6

-SD's Kofi Kingston has appeared on every episode of SD Live, and has appeared on RAW on 5 of the last 8 shows. He's also had a TV match the last six weeks in a row.

-Shane McMahon has appeared on literally every single episode of both RAW and SD since the Wild Card rule started. (Upon going through the roster pages, I just realized that Shane's listed as both a SD and RAW superstar now. Still crazy though lol)

Watching the Gobal Warning Tour on the Network. The presentation looks so different. The video quality is unique and the piped in crowd reactions lol

Emperor Smeat 06-28-2019 09:42 PM

Apparently the crowd for the first night of WWE's Japan show earlier today was lower than the first night of last year's Japan tour. Tonight's show was over 6700 and last year's first night was over 7000.

2nd night is probably going to be down as well since last year's show did over 8300.

Rumor going around the net hints that Hogan is going to be the main focus for this year's My Career mode for WWE 2k20.

Rumored to be covering his career from his AWA days till his match against The Rock at Mania 18.

With Eli Drake joining nwa, they are the best part of roh now. sinclare needs to let Billy take over roh.

Evil Vito 07-01-2019 10:44 AM

lol that gimmick killed Corbin before he even started because the crowd started to boo when it took him longer than 10 seconds to win a match

Evil Vito 07-01-2019 04:12 PM

NBA free agency is super "over" within the sports world, nearly half the league hit free agency on the same day yesterday.

I feel like if they ever kill the wild card rule and go back to enforcing the brand split, they should abandon the annual draft/"shake up" in favor of free agency. For like a month after Mania, it's open season for GMs to try to sign away talent, sign people from NXT/205, etc. and the company could put out Twitter updates on who signed where.

That way Heyman and Bischoff to talk out what programs they want to run and lock in their rosters for the upcoming year but afterwards, that's fucking it. No wild card bullshit, the rosters stay in place until the next year's Mania.

Emperor Smeat 07-01-2019 06:54 PM

That would be better than the half-assed way they handled free agency with Cena, the Bellas, and a couple of others.

Either it was something WWE suddenly claimed existed and only for those few people or just a lazy excuse to have someone suddenly appear on a new brand with no fanfare after being away for a while.

Damian Rey 2.0 07-01-2019 07:51 PM

I like the idea but guys would have to be locked in for more than a yr. Otherwise making it an annual switch would just re shake the rosters too often.

I'd love for them to adopt the idea of signing guys who are injured, underperforming, or just not being used as a storyline gimmick.

For instance, when Rollins was coming back from knee surgery, could run with the idea that he's a free agent after mania, and there's questions about his health. He gets a 1 yr deal from one of the brands as a pillow contact to rebuild his own value. You (ideally) book him strong for the whole year and hype up his impending free agency with his home brand trying to extend his contract and the other brand identifying that they want him as their marquee free agent signing.

The wwe would some how fuck this up but it's a cool conceptto think about.

Emperor Smeat 07-02-2019 01:30 AM

Apparently Micheal Elgin is dealing with online backlash again and its related to the same sexual harassment allegations and lawsuit that got him in hot water with NJPW and the indies the first time around.

Being speculated that Impact officials told him to clean up his baggage and deal with the backlash now in order to lessen the backlash the company will likely be getting following this Sunday's Slammiversary based on current plans.

Problem was the level of backlash was soo bad that Elgin quickly deleted his tweets and made things a lot worse for Impact PR-wise heading into the show now.

SlickyTrickyDamon 07-02-2019 01:42 AM

They signed him and pushed him knowing this stuff was out there. This is all on Impact.

Is anyone else annoyed by the way they’re handling no wrestling during commercial breaks? It bothers me more than the wild card rule. Hope they eliminate it or the brand split in the upcoming weeks.

No, everyone loves it.

GD 07-02-2019 11:11 PM

SlickyTrickyDamon 07-02-2019 11:37 PM

Not sure yet. If they continue to do 2 of 3 falls matches it'll get tiresome quickly.

GD 07-02-2019 11:52 PM

What about a 7 falls match?
