I think for all the shit Batista gets, it's important to note how cool and nice he seemed in the Connor video.

That first .gif needs a Adam West Batman "WHAM!"

Also, nice veteran instincts by the kid to hook the leg. WWE obviously had big plans for The Crusher with him going over HHH clean and in record time. Too bad his carreer was cut so short. He was going places.

Goddamn, Jay Lethal does an amazing Ric Flair impression.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-08-2014 02:28 AM

His Macho Man is amazing too. Oh yeah dig it.

I'm no indy rasslin' aficionado but every once in a while I check out some stuff and see a guy and wonder how WWE hasn't picked up on them yet. I just recently discovered Uhaa Nation.

Pros: He's 6 feet tall (Not HUGE but taller than your typical indy darling), 240 lbs., he's built and he can move like a lightweight. Plus he's only 26. Also, cool name.

Cons: Seems to be utter shit on the mic and that would probably hamper him from ever main eventing or anything. Also, cool name would probably be changed to "Jerrell Sampson" upon being signed.

Could probably have just started a "What Indy Guys Would You Like WWE To Sign" thread or something but nah.

A part of me finds it amusing that Sheamus is billed as this tough as hell strong Irishman who always loves to fight, but in reality, when he's involved in a fight, he always seems to get his ass handed to him by smaller guys.

Many fans have been wondering why NWA, WCW and UWF TV (Mid-South) TV has not been added to the WWE Network at this time. There are a few reasons why they haven't been added.

The first thing is that all of the material that WWE has digitized has to be cleaned up.

Once that is done, WWE legal has to check the footage to make sure there are no issues with music rights.

Then the footage is sent for any additional editing as well as the footage being closed captioned for the hearing impaired.

Once all of that is done, the footage is then uploaded to the data base that houses the footage for the network.
Know in WCW's case, there is a big chunk of footage that can't be fixed or needs other sources because of how badly WCW handled their library.

Cool King 05-08-2014 06:24 PM

As much as I appreciate the WWE making appearances over here, it does get to me a bit that when they do make appearances in Scotland, they only ever go to Glasgow.

Now I would love to go and meet The Shield, but it's kind of out the way/pain in the ass for me to get to Glasgow. I'm not expecting them to make appearances here in Dundee, as I know that'll never happen, but appearing in Edinburgh or even Aberdeen every now and then wouldn't go a miss. :-\

Dirtsheets (all from the Observer):

Quote:

I’m told that there is a change in plans regarding breaking up The Shield. I take that to mean the breakup plans from earlier this year that were considered delayed for a while because of the feeling they were getting over strong as a face trio, are not even being talked about for any time soon. Originally the break-up was going to have already happened ... What that would seem to mean is they are going forward now with The Shield as a group based on several months out projections (what they recommend to those they do business with when it comes to marketing is based on creating things now that won’t hit the marketplace for months) as opposed to a Reigns singles push, and they are bullish on Cesaro as a babyface within a few months.
Quote:

The idea of giving wrestlers time off to recharge and heal up has been talked about as a strategy down the line. The feeling right now is that may be a good thing, but the depth doesn’t allow it. There is trepidation right now about the idea of consistently running shows without either Cena or Bryan as the advertised headliner.
Quote:

There is talk of moving NXT tapings to bi-weekly instead of every four weeks. The negative is obviously greater expense for a show they aren’t getting paid much for. The positive is the show will be better, since at a lot of the tapings, the crowd is hot for the first two shows and starts dying off after that. It’s also more competition for TNA if/when TNA returns to Orlando after its run of shows for most of the summer out of Bethlehem, PA and New York.
Quote:

As best we can tell, WWE hasn’t contacted anyone from the March tryout camp (the one with Kevin Steen, ACH, Rocky Romero and Roderick Strong) at this point

Just reading about TNA is killing me.

MVP comes in to save TNA by banishing the evil authority figure. He then becomes an evil authority figure.

Absolute Power corrupts absolutely.

Or LOLTNA.

Lock Jaw 05-09-2014 01:07 AM

Haven't watched TNA in a few weeks.... of course there has been a major alignment turn.

Seems like every single time I fall behind, when I start watching again, someone has turned heel/face.
