Had they booked Benoit to be the champ 4 months before.... I dunno man, I'm very optimistic but if they had committed to that choice I could see things being different potentially. |

I couldn’t agree more. He came across as such a nice person.
|
Hopefully he's cashing in on this (from the sounds of it he is)
I recently learned that he never appeared on t.v in the US. I had no idea. I saw him a few times growing up in Canada |

There was a Canadian version of Superstars. They wanted t.v in Canada, but Canada has Canadian Content rules or "Can Con", so they'd have a Canadian version of Superstars. You'd see guys like George Wells(former CFL star) and Tom Magee on it a fair amount.

Just kill the brand split already

Is this 'the market in general' or something specific to WWE, re: drop

Same happened last time with the debut of the Network. Their stocks shot up in price more than it should have been and then investors started to bail when they realized all those promises were hollow. Several months later, they lost almost all of the bump the Network's launch gave them and leveled off at a value slightly higher than pre-Network. |

Fightful current speculating that Tyler Breeze was the mystery person in WWE to get a $500k contract extension in order to entice him to remain in the company.
This was around the same time that WWE was trying to keep The Revival and The Club from leaving when they requested their releases and/or made it known they were not staying. |
Good for Breeze on making that money. Wonder if he's staying in nxt.
|
It would be the best thing for him. Stay away from main roster hell.
|
I figured it was Breeze.
He actually lives near Full Sail so he might have as close as you can feel like a “normal job” in wrestling. |
EC3 probably the safest bet to be the next person to ask for their release from WWE.
Posted a tweet earlier today in response to the Ambrose episode of Jericho's podcast show. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Thank you. The feeling is mutual. Good luck.</p>— ecIII (@therealec3) <a href="https://twitter.com/therealec3/status/1133788468612665350?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 29, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
He's just not that good. He's so bleh.
|
He’s no Fandango that’s for sure. HEY, speaking of folks who would crush it in AEW
|
was thinking the one advantage AEW has over TNA with establishing strong footing as a viable product is that the latter, from the beginning, was run by old guard guys. IIRC even before Hogan and the idiots ran roughshod, the Jarretts were involved.
AEW has young minds with their finger on the pulse. They seem like people whose perspectives are beyond wrestling and don't live in a bubble. You hear Cody and Kenny talk and you go "wow these guys are fucking smart." It feels 'fresh.' I don't expect it to be perfect but I like a lot of what they've done so far. |
Plus a bunch of them actually bring something different to the table from a backstage perspective.
Bucks have been the go-to guys for building up the tag division, Omega for women's division, Tony Khan for the sports outlook, Janela/SCU/Best Friends for indies scouting, and Cody for the NWA/old style wrestling outlook. Lets them all focus on the stuff they are good at while leaving the rest for others who have more experience with it. |
but they don't have Baron Corbin - which will be their ultimate demise.
|
Wait...you mean....a wrestling company can be ran by more than just one guy?
