Talent weren’t featured on SmackDown anyway. It was months before we saw Harper & Rowan before the Bludgeon Brothers thing, or Tye Dillinger, or The Colons, or Benjamin, or Sin Cara, or a bunch of other people I am surely forgetting. The whole “more talent gets to do stuff” thing is a myth, and it doesn’t get more people over. Fewer people are over.

Ironically made me remember a random match between Juvi and Silver King from the first WCW PPV I ever watched, Fall Brawl 1998.

Juvi is still going. Props to him. I hope he is clean these days. I remember when people used to talk about him as if he were even more naturally talented than Rey Mysterio, but he let his personal problems get in the way.
