To be honest, I can kind of see where the "higher-ups" are coming from about the whole Yes! chant.

I personally thought the same at one point. It doesn't matter who you are, if you start saying "Yes!" while pointing in the air with both hands, a "Yes! Chant" will take off. Even Del Rio can do it, albeit without pointing in the air, and he does it in Spanish and he's also a Heel.

Emperor Smeat 05-04-2014 05:26 PM

Del Rio doing it might also prove its not just the chant that is over considering the lack of response he gets (either crowd chanting Si or booing him). Same for when they tried to give the Ole chant to the Los Matadores when it was Sami Zayn's.

A few chants like the "Feed Me More" and the whole "Let's Go Cena/Cena sucks" are better cases of the chant being the ting that is over more.

Cool King 05-04-2014 06:08 PM

For a good while, a lot of the crowd chanted "Si" along with Del Rio when he did it. It's only after Del Rio's recent lack of appearances on television that it's died down a bit.

They'll probably add lyrics to the song and then people will then say they liked this version better if they did or not.

He's never really had a bad theme. They were singing Real American theme on the post-WrestleMania Raw.

I've been hearing a lot of good things about the DVD. I'm really thinking about buying it.

yeah it is. It's a pretty entertaining dvd. Nothing overly special but it's pretty cool.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-04-2014 07:22 PM

Do they just have behind the scene antics or do they have filmed post-Raw main event matches too?

No. His very first theme in WWE (not the malenko theme he was using in FCW) was the drizzling shits. It sounded like it belonged to some happy go lucky babyface Diva.

Fit him perfectly as a rugby player gimmick.

* He won championships in WCW, WWE and TNA.

* As Lt. Loco, he used a Tornado DDT I once read was called the "Loco DDT." I can't find that now, so maybe I was mistaken about that. Whoops. He used a Brainbuster early on in his WWE days. Loco/brainbuster -- just something to do with the functionality of the brain.

* Chavo briefly used an STF that was dubbed the "Low Rider" in his SmackDown Six days.

* Shaul Guerrero has just left the WWE for the second time. She never won a title and wrestled as "Raquel Diaz."

* Chavo competed as "Kerwin White" as part of the RAW brand for a while, and there was a well known referee named Tim White.

* He served as a tag team partner to his Uncle Eddie, he brought in his father for a WWE run and he always looked after Aunt Vickie.

* Chavo Guerrero dressed up as the Swagger Soaring Eagle and supported Jack Swagger. Mando Guerrero infamously portrayed The Gobbeldy Gooker. Giant bird costumes was the reference with the doning of outfits there.

* Chavo wrestled his first match in WCW against William Regal. Chavo would go on to become a WCW Tag Team Champion, Cruiserweight Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion and ECW Champion. William Regal has held the WCW TV Title, WWE European Title, WWE Hardcore Title, WWE IC Title and World Tag Team Titles. Chavo and Regal both spent quite a few years in WCW together, before they both made the jump to WWE. Chavo was at one point the only contracted employee brought over from the acquisition of WCW.

* Chavo Guerrero won the Cruiserweight Title from Daffney at one point, and he also lost it to Jacqueline at another point. He also lost it the Hornswoggle, but that wasn't part of the question.

Holy mind boink! Noid makes great brain teasers! :):y:

If WWE had let Kane go full bore and chokeslam Brie, then you could have heightened drama, but Standards & Practices came into play. Then again, he-men dominating women and fembois is one of my fantasies, so go curdle. ;)

I'd like this better than his current theme.

I don't know if this is legit or not, but:

Chris Benoit photoshopped into being Christian

Lock Jaw 05-05-2014 01:11 AM

Unless he wore tights that had a Christian-looking "C" logo on them at one point. In which case, it is just Benoit.

Fignuts 05-05-2014 01:13 AM

lol has to be fanmade. No reason to photoshop something when you have literally thousands of other pics to choose from.

Actually, the "Si" thing had a little more to do with Ricardo being over than Of The River.

Cool King 05-05-2014 09:06 AM

Yeah, I don't know where the Benoit being Photoshopped into Christian thing has came from but that picture is a legitimate picture of Lita and Christian.

It from the "Battle of the Sexes" match at Armageddon 2003.

The days when Ricardo was over. Good times.

It's mad to think that at one point Ricardo was over and had entire arenas announcing along with him and cheering him on at one point, and now, the only time he's on WWE TV is once a month a PPV's at the Spanish Announce Table.

Anybody watched these? It's presented by Joey Styles.

They're pretty good and it gives you some interesting facts. Some of which I didn't know, like the fact about the ring at WrestleMania 29.

As a guy who really would love to visit the WWE Warehouse, I think these videos are a great idea and I think it's also cool to see some stuff I remember hidden in the background and also when the camera cuts from one thing to another.

It’s being said if Batista does in fact plan to take time off following Raw tonight, then the likely Payback main event will be Daniel Bryan vs Kane in a Buried Alive Match. This is why WWE had Kane rise at the end of their match last night, to leave the door open for the possible Payback match. As of now, Batista is scheduled to appear on Raw tonight.
