No one says you have to listen to all of them.

Droford 04-15-2019 12:17 PM

I don't listen to anything but Busted Open

I listened to Colt Cabana's pretty much as soon as it debuted and it was a weekly listen for me for 4-5 years. Once the CM Punk tell-all podcast dropped I kinda felt like it peaked and I eventually took it out of my podcast rotation.

Wonder how much (if any) of this is legit?

https://www.sportskeeda.com/wwe/wwe-...-edge-recently

Quote:

There seems to be something in the water over at WWE at the moment, with the post-WrestleMania fallout not being around how good the show was but rather around unhappy Superstars, fines, last minute Creative changes and employees quitting.

Now backstage reports from Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful claim that Vince McMahon's behaviour has been 'on edge' recently.

In case you didn't know...
Two referees were fined over WrestleMania weekend, with Rod Zapata blamed for the abrupt finish to the WrestleMania 35 main event, and another referee fined for a moment during the SmackDown Live Tag-Team Title match.

Following Monday Night RAW and SmackDown LIVE after WrestleMania the blue brand's head writer Brian 'Road Dogg' James stepped down from his role, with reports citing frustration with Vince McMahon's last-minute booking decision changes as the cause.

Another backstage Creative member, Robert Evans also allegedly quit WWE after hearing Vince McMahon was unhappy that his name was mentioned during the Hall of Fame Ceremony, with Bret Hart and DX name-dropping the Chairman.

Finally, both Sasha Banks and Brock Lesnar are alleged to have been in backstage incidents protesting decisions made by Vince McMahon. Lesnar allegedly wanted his match to go on first at WrestleMania and Banks objected to the fairly last-minute decision to take the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles off of her and Bayley.

The heart of the matter
All of these incidents seem to have led to the perception of there being somewhat of a tense atmosphere backstage in WWE at the moment, which is something that Sean Ross Sapp's report in Fightful seems to suggest comes from the Chairman himself.

Throughout the week, several employees have reached out about Vince McMahon being "on edge." From fighting back on questionable booking decisions, to fining referees, to "being on everyone's back" at Tuesday's Smackdown.
It's unclear what has gotten Vince McMahon so on-edge, although the likely scenario that I would guess at would be McMahon trying to make sure 'Mania week goes smoothly with the impending Fox deal almost upon us.

What's next?
It remains to be seen how the ongoing Sasha Banks situation is going to resolve itself, but if Mr. McMahon was 'on edge' before this all kicked off, I can imagine it's only gotten worse now.

I don't trust anything Sportskeeda but I do trust Sean Ross Sapp so IDK

Bad News Gertner 04-15-2019 01:29 PM

John Pollock reporting lots of travel issues to RAW/SD for WWE stars r/n in Montreal

Should be a helluva 'superstar shakeup' tonight...

Mr. Nerfect 04-15-2019 04:32 PM

Nothing in that report seems new. Sasha’s been miserable for years, and Brock blew up at being sent out to an apathetic crowd at Mania last year.

Droford 04-15-2019 06:52 PM

The Briscoes chicken farm in Sandy Fork might have been torn up by the tornado that went through the area this morning. Havent heard anything

Emperor Smeat 04-15-2019 08:06 PM

Seems Ronda could be gone from WWE for at least a year and a half since she hinted at wanting to get pregnant very soon. All depends on how many months she wants to spend with the baby and time needed for training if she wants to come back.

Bad News Gertner 04-15-2019 08:35 PM

So when is Brad Shepard going to apologize to Meltzer

Matt & Reby... since Matt is a "celesteal entetey" that needs not conform to gender. Then, they enact the Rule of The Birds of Free, and thus make Jeff a women's tag champ by proxy.

So, basically, this chick clearly knows the answer to the troll question, and could answer it for real.

Apparently Hulk Hogan was upset over Viceland's recent Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth documentary.

Even though he never mentioned Linda's name, he was upset at his ex-wife being interviewed and some of the photos and stories involving him in the episode. Also implied he was never contacted for this episode.

Turns out he was since Viceland responded to his tweet saying they contacted him to be interviewed but he turned down their request.

Hogan then blocked Viceland on Twitter in retaliation.

Mr. Nerfect 04-16-2019 02:42 AM

Lol, Hogan is such a piece of shit.

I was hoping they’d do more, and even some more WWF-focused ones, but I suppose they wouldn’t let them use the footage. I guess they could do the steroid scandal and a lot of the Benoit stuff. But I imagine WWE would stop playing nice.

Emperor Smeat 04-16-2019 03:20 AM

I'd assume Viceland would consider a second season if this set of episode generate great numbers for them. They've had wrestling-based documentaries before but not in a series format I think.

Going by HBO's Andre doc, seems the only requirement is WWE has to be aware of the content of the episode or film before they approve footage requests.

A Benoit doc probably wouldn't be an issue considering WWE didn't have any issues with the upcoming Moolah one. Something like a Snuka doc focusing on his girlfriend's death could be out of the question since it might uncover new stuff about Vince's rumored involvement and open him up to potential legal issues.

Mr. Nerfect 04-16-2019 03:21 AM

I want to see Billy Wolfe, Snuka, Benoit and Steroid Scandal.

Droford 04-16-2019 06:23 AM

the last thing needed was a rehash of Montreal. I honestly thought that was finally gotten over.

They had a show on Viceland Canada a couple of years ago that focused on wrestling subcultures. It was awesome.

Danny Electric 04-16-2019 11:11 AM

So who is going to be buried with this ‘big acquisition to Smackdown.’

Splaya 04-16-2019 12:05 PM

Kofi. Quite obvious it will be Brock. He will win the title at MITB and hold it all summer

Splaya 04-16-2019 12:05 PM

One of those three statements is a lie. Can you figure out which one :shifty:

Danny Electric 04-16-2019 12:31 PM

Last one cos you underplayed how long he will hold the belt , it is obviously until 2123.

You are just finding out it's a match now because WWE doesn't know how to promote things.

It's amazing after the first sequence realizing where all these guys are currently.

WWE dropping the ball on someone with obvious potential? A shockingly new revelation!

Emperor Smeat 04-16-2019 05:17 PM

Not surprised since he looked mentally done at Mania during the Andre Battle Royal. Was really noticeable during his entrance and Braun's entrance.

Everyone pretty much was in a happy mood on their way to the ring while he looked like he didn't care. Same for Braun's entrance where everyone was in awe or in fear of Braun and he's off to the side by himself and not reacting.

His match with Orton was possibly the best Orton match I’ve ever seen.
