Pretty fun Heel vs. Heel match. Well, the second half of the Pretty fun Heel vs. Heel match. Until re-watching this match, I never could have seen Rick Martel as a face.

Maybe the Model could have been a face, after all.

I would love to see a returning John Morrison tag along with The Miz to spice up the tag team division. We might even see a return of the Fedora.

They kind of lost me with the documentary when I heard Batista compare HHH to Michael Jordan

Juan 09-25-2013 01:42 AM

Reeked of "fluff" to me for some reason

That's not completely true. They address it indirectly, several times.

He was grading the match not the moment. It was a four minute match not really great for main event/final of a tournament.

It was a forgettable match with one of the greatest post-match promos of all time. They often mention the look on Dok's face as "Here's a man who's seen it all, and even he couldn't believe what happened."

I don't mean Rick Martel. I mean the Model, complete with his talking like Pepe LePew and his atomizer full of Arrogance working as a face.

Side note, 21 years later, the spawn of that match would make it's appearance...

Watching Raw from May 1997 and the First Round of that years King of The Ring tournament. Hunter Hearst Helmsley is taking on Ahmed Johnson and Jerry Lawler just said words to effect that "HHH would make a good King but he'd never be King of Kings".

How wrong you were, Jerry.

No idea where it is from. Brock Lesnar would make a good "Terminator" for the reboot.

Tazz Dan 09-25-2013 05:30 PM

I thought 'The Model' had a short face run at one point.

They only talked about how Hunter and Steph's relationship had nothing to with the business.

Mr. Nerfect 09-25-2013 06:00 PM

John Morrison returning to team with The Miz against Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns would be pretty tremendous right now.

Mr. Nerfect 09-25-2013 06:02 PM

I was thinking that at WrestleMania next year, The Shield teaming up to face the team of The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin & Chris Jericho would be pretty epic. Ambrose could cut promos about how Jericho brags he beat Austin and Rock on the same night, but at WrestleMania, they're going to beat Austin, Rock and Jericho in the same night.

Plus, with The Rock's health being questionable and Austin not being confident about being in "Stone Cold" form, Jericho could work the majority of the match and make it amazing.

VSG 09-25-2013 06:14 PM

Seems like a major waste of draw power IMO.

"Triple H: Thy Kingdom Come" is one of the single greatest productions I have ever seen. I felt every possible emotion a man can feel while watching this man's truly awe-inspiring life story. While I'm not necessarily a huge Triple H fan, I highly recommend this documentary for anyone who enjoys watching great things.

Bad News Gertner 09-26-2013 02:38 AM

Gertner gives away another DVD.

Will be getting Timeline: WWF 1977-78 Superstar Billy Graham. Looks amazing. Cornette's was great, as Fignuts will be getting from me soon. After I'm done watching it would anybody like it? It's free and I take of shipping.

So you want The Rock's big WrestleMania match and Steve Austin's long-awaited return... to be used in a 6 man match against The Shield.

Good Lord.
